If show pms in chat is enabled, all PMs will show in chat, this could be improved by having two separate tick boxes saying 'show received pms in chat' and 'show sent pms in chat' for example. This could be done via a drop down menu or just two separate boxes. This would be simple to do and would allow for more customisation and less clutter in chat rooms for example.
This could also be done differently, with an option saying 'show all pms in chat' or ' show only received in chat', as I imagine not many people would only want to see the messages they've already sent. I personally think this would be a nice idea and allow for less clutter in chat if this option is enabled. If you believe that it would not provide any benefit, then that's reasonable, but I do think that there isn't a reason why this shouldn't be considered.
