If anyone wants to see if their instacheck is working and wants to initiate a trade with me let me know. I'm also trying to get this to work

My apologies if this is common knowledge, but wasn't in the first post so thought I'd state what I did to get this working on Windows 8 (although the same should work on Windows 7):

1.
Ensure that your computer is connected to the internet via Ethernet [technically, any connection other than WiFi should suffice, so iPhone Personal Hotspot, Bluetooth, etc. all fine too].

2.Open an "elevated Command Prompt":
- Go to the home screen and type "cmd",
- Right click on the "cmd" app and select run as administrator.

3.
In the command prompt, type:
Code:
netsh wlan show driver
A long list of information should come up, about halfway through you should find the phrase (with one option removed):
"Hosted Network Supported : Yes/No".

====================================

4.a)
If you see "Yes", then go to step 5.

====================================

4.b)
If you see "No", then check the line which reads:
"Date : 25/12/2010"
or something similar.

If the date is a little outdated (say, 2011 or earlier), then I would suggest googling the information from the following line:
"Driver : *****"
Whatever it says where the "*****" is, then search on google "driver *****".

If there is an updated driver for your network card, download this, and return to step 3. Hopefully this time you will see "Yes" to "Hosted Network Supported". If not then I'm afraid it's quite possible your card does not support the required feature.

====================================

5.
You now should see "Hosted Network Supported : Yes" when typing "netsh wlan show driver" into your command prompt. Now type:
Code:
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow

A confirmation message should show up stating
"The hosted network mode has been set to allow"

6.
Finally, after the above message has been displayed (as well as confirming that "Hosted Network Supported : Yes" is shown as above), then you should be set to go, simply run instacheck.

I'm very new to this so I literally tried EVERYTHING that i came across and nothing has been working for me trying to set up the instachecker... At first i tried setting it up on my deskstop but when i set it up it kept saying "VirtualRouterPlus stopped working" and nothing could fix it. I ended up trying it on my laptop but when I clicked on Start Hotspot it gave me "The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation". I have followed every step to fixing this problem and looked at other solutions given from ppl but I can't seem to get it to work. Please help me :(

Anyone with the numbers 3047, 4074, 638, 243, 3259, I would appreciate a hatch for me, though at the moment I don't have much to offer except a Protean 5v Froakie.

Need serious help with getting instachecker to work! I have downloaded all of the files required except for getting an external USB wifi or another laptop. I made a proxy virtual wifi called connection! Got my instachecker up to: this group or reasource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation. I only have my network connections 2 network and thats it. Where do I go?

Anyone mind checking a boxful of eggs for me? I don't have instacheck so I can't check anything of yours, but I do have 5IV Adamant Mawile to give to someone who can help.

Can someone help me check my TSV? I still have the error where the box above "Start Scanning" remains white, so I can't check myself. My code is 4828 - 3964 - 5270.
