Interesting trade on the pokemon ranch game

I was just looking at serebiis updates and I noticed that you can trade with the owner of the ranch in the new downloadable game for the wii, most of the pokemon have nothing interesting about then execpt an occasinal rare item. But at the bottom it says that if you put 999 pokemon into the game you can trade for an egg.... a mew that knows synthesis.

Anyone think this is interesting?

Why not? It learns almost every other move, so it's not that much of a surprise.

Synthesis is useless anyway, unless you are playing it with Groudon I guess. Otherwise there's Roost.

Doesn't Mew get Recover on top of Roost? Both outclass Synthesis... But hey, legit Mew, that is slightly easier to get compared to the other ways it is gotten (ie., events).

No, Mew can learn Softboiled only on top of roost, and only in emerald. To be honest I'm more happy that it also comes with Hypnosis than Synthesis.
