Intimidating Team huh? [OU RMT]

*Will add in some picture for viewing pleasure, I just can't find the ones with the right size

This team was made from an idea that came to my mind randomly. The idea is to abuse the ability: Intimidate, which I am sure all of you know what it does, to completely shut down the opponents physical attacks. Physical attackers are much more popular than special attackers due to the fact that Blissey is around. My intimidate pokemons would need someone to cover up their special defense, so obviously I go to blissey.

So now I need some pokemons with intimidate. I looked over all the pokemons with intimidate and found only a handful of viable ones. I picked some of the strongest ones available. They were Salamence, Gyarados, Staraptor and Arcanine.

Now that's I've assemble them, all I need is a lead. So I chose my favorite lead, the one I use on almost every OU team, Smeargle.

But then I look at my team together, I notice all 4 of my intimidaters are SR weak, this isn't very good since I need to repeatedly switch to activate intimidate. I need a spinner and one intimidater that isn't SR weak, to do that, I got to take out 2 of my current intimidaters. After serveral battles, I found out that my Staraptor is to fragile to take any hits, so he's no good switching in and out and my Gyarados wasn't very helpful either. So I added in Flygon for revenge kill and Hitmontop, who conveniently has intimidate and rapid spin in one package.

My final team is Smeargle, Blissey, Salamence, Hitmontop, Arcanine and Flygon

Team in depth:

Smeargle-Own Tempo
@Choice Scarf
EV: 96hp/120def/252spe/40spD
Jolly
-Spore
-Trick
-Encore
-Destiny Bond

This is the anti lead smeargle from the analysis followed to every single EV. His role is to prevent the set up of SR with spore. against attacking leads like infernape or marchamp, I D-Bond and take them down with me. Against Jirachi, I'd have to switch to my Flygon if he tricks or salamence if he attacks. If he manages to survive into the game, he becomes helpful by crippling walls with trick, or prevent set ups with encore. I am considering switching him to a spike lead for entry hazards which my team lacks.

Blissey-Natural Cure
@ leftovers
EV: 252hp/252def/4spe
Bold
-Wish
-Protect
-Thunder Wave
-Seismic Toss

Another standard set straight from the analysis. The wish bliss provides the special wall that my teams needs with the ability to heal herself and her teammates. She also provides nice paralysis support, allowing my rather slow team to net some kills. She's also a nice fighting lure, and in conjunction with Salamence, the combo is pretty hard to bring down.

Salamence-Intimidate
@leftovers
EV: 252hp/180def/76spe
Timid
-Roost
-Toxic
-Draco Meteor
-Flame Thrower

This is one of the least used set for a Salamence, the element of surprise it provides it quite nice. When I bring him out, my opponent would think it's a DD mence and switch to his steel/wall. That's when he gets either burned away a chunk of health or get toxicated and have life slowly fade away. His ability to repeatedly take hits is amazing. Since every time he switches in, intimidate will reduce the damage by a lot and he can just roost away the damage. His fighting resistance is good to cover Blissey's weakness.

Arcanine-Intimidate
@leftovers
EV: 240hp/168def/72spe/28spA
Bold
-Will-o-Wisp
-Fire Blast
-Hidden Ground
-Roar

A rarely used pokemon+a rarely used set=OMGWTFISDAT. I added him to the team to cover up Salamence's ice weak and lure in EQ for salamence or Flygon to switch into. WoW is brilliant for cutting the already low attack in half, rendering the attack completely useless. Even walls will not appreciate the constant damage. Fire blast is extremely powerful even with only 28 EV. It kills the steels that others might have trouble with. Namingly Metagross. Hidden ground is to stop those that resist fire blast from getting away with it. Roar is nice to scout the opponent's team and stop subs and stops set ups. Without a healing move, he must rely on Blissey for healing.

Flygon-Levitate
@choice scarf
EV: 252atk/252spe/4spD
Jolly
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-U-Turn
-Stone Edge

The ever so common scarfed Flygon. Though he doesn't really fit into the theme of the team, he is a very nice addition. Resisting electric and ground is a nice addition to any team. His role is to finish off any wore-down pokemon and revenge kill. His mediocre bulk allows him to take some hits from intimidated pokemons. Though he shouldn't take many hits at all.

Hitmontop-Intimidate
@Leftovers
Adamant
EV: 252hp/252atk/4def
-Foresight
-Rapid Spin
-Close Combat
-Sucker Punch

I need a spinner and this is the best, no excuse me, the only spinner with intimidate and rapid spin. Foresight is to stop ghosts from stopping my spin. Close combat is a nice addition to my team's attack coverage. Without def EV and healing moves, he doesn't last very long. If you can suggest another more defensive EV spread, I would appreciate it.

Problem I have encountered so far:
1) I force a lot of switches on the opponent and some entry hazard would be nice for me to get some KOs, but I don't know who should do it, I am leaning towards smeargle since I don't want to take out another pokemon.

2) Metagross is a huge problem for me. His clear body ability means he will be hitting hard all of the time and agiligross will outspeed nearly all of my team and KO them quite easily. Flygon isn't quite strong enough to 1HKO him. I might want to go Adamant on Flygon

3) Without a cleric, status is stuck on my pokemon until he/she dies. I want to do aromatherapy on blissey, but what move should I take out?

Thanks for reading this.
Thanks in advance for rating my team.

Have a good day.

I suck at RMTing, but ill point out some stuff, as you already said you NEED entry hazards with the way your team is based, and smeargle isn't that good of a lead and it is way too slow to be useful for them entry hazards too. The reason why your Salamence set is not very used, as it isn't very strong, I advice switching it. You also have 2 4x weaknesses for ice, and if Arcanine is gone, thats a big chunk of damage you will take from ice.

The most used ice attack is ice beam, which Blissey or Acanine can easily take. Physical attacks like ice punch and ice shard can be handled by Blissey as well, since they are very weak. I play very conservatively with this team, so none of my team will faint for a while.

If I switch the salamence set, I'll have trouble with DD gyarados since no one resists water and has the bulk to do it. A bulky DD with roost seems nice.

You can try replacing Flygon with a Gliscor

Gliscor can set up Stealth Rocks for you while also helping somewhat with your Metagross problem (the standard Agiligross runs Thunderpunch instead of Ice Punch)

I suppose you could make up a set like SR/Roost/Earthquake/U-turn to keep the U-turn benefit from Flygon somewhat, although Flygon forces more switches.

I still think Gliscor is worth testing out

I think that your team's main weakness is that you lack a physical wall. I know that you want the spinner, but if you're not willing to lose another intimidator, you're going to have to take out hitmontop. I would recommend swampert, because the two main threats I see to your team are metagross (as you mentioned) and scarf tryanitar. Scarftar, can use stone edge to 2hKO if not OHKO your entire team (two hits for blissey and hitmontop, one hit for anything else if it hasn't been intimidated). True, top may be able to take a few hits, he'll just switch out as soon as he sees it and eventually he'll wear your team out. For the replacement, I recommend Swampert. He can take anything that any sane Ttar and Gross carry, maybe get those rocks up for you, and has good synergy with blissey. I personally question the wisdom of an intimidate team, as it leads you weak to anything rock typed.

3v3rnoob, you point out a rock weakness on the physical side, but then contradict yourself by saying to replace hitmontop, who actually resists rock

i have used hitmontop myself before, and tyranitar is his main switch-in

/end useless post

If you want entry hazards and a physical wall, get a Donphan >> Hitmontop. Donphan spins and bring SR to the table. If you want MORE you can always use Roserade lead.

Blissey can bring the SR you desire to the table. (but only in place of protect which can be dangerous.
Also it seems status infliction is haphazard as you got three different types from the pokemon. toxic blissey may be a better fit (over Twave) and flygon with a fire attack can be even more impeding for those toxic resistant steels.
Toxic also has great boost with a protect wish bliss.

All in all i think this is a very good team with great synergy. Especialy with the foresite top and Blissey and anti ape RK9
