On your smart phone like I am and can't see my signature simple solution click my picture and go to my profile and click information. First link takes you to my giveaway thread. Second post gives you a list of links with cool stuff about Ivs and EVs. Still confused after that? Feel free to VM or pm me on smogon or Skype chat me. Also wanna talk about Pokemon freely or other stuff then I recommend you skype me so I can add you to my group chat:). Wanna also battle new users well in the intro hub you can battle new users just post and ask. If you want to make a trade thread when you get a few stuff you breed I highly recommend you go to the wifi forums and read the rules. The mods will lock your thread if you don't follow the rules just a heads up. If you need something you can also message Fluke or QueBien or go to mibbit. Type in smogon at mibbit and go to the Shi chat room and someone can help you with any questions. Enjoy your time on smogon

Man I'm 17 lol. Competitive Pokemon really started to take off for me in x and y and that's when I started to get decent. Wanna battle some new users on showdown then go to the intro hub and look for the battling section for new users. sup everyone. my name is bobby and i am a senior at eastern michigan university studying photography. i've been playing pokemon through every generation and attempted to get into the world of competitive play when i was in highschool. didnt catch the hype and kind of gave up. i got into oras four or so months ago and have just recently started working on a few UU teams as i've always been most interested in playing that tier. i have a good fundemental understanding of competitive play altogether but will definitely be looking for all the knowledge i can gain. really looking forward to growing as a player, nice to meet you all.

So I am a a noob but I have been lurking for a while, I play PS under Banana Observed but haven't for a while (mainly Ubers with the occasional randbats or BH), and frankly I created this account just to participate in the lovely Create-a-Pokemon project. In (un)related news, I love Ghost types, and Mega Sableye was huge for me even though the end result was... disappointing.

Nice to meet you! I would never have gotten involved with Pokemon had it not been for a good friend of mine, who got me started with the franchise with Emerald. I started battling competitively a few months more than a year back, with the help of Showdown. I used to be really bad, but my skills have improved a lot since then. I usually hang around the OU, 1v1, and Random Battle tiers, but I'm not afraid to delve into other tiers every so often. Take a look at the UnderUsed discussions here at Smogon and see if that's something you might be interested in getting involved with. I'm sure joining in on the discussions will help you to learn a lot about the tier. Also, check out the UnderUsed room in PS!, have you not done so already, if you'd like to make some friends in the UU community. Have a fun time exploring the site!

Great you decided to make an account! I play Showdown under this same name, although recently I have not been too active on the main server. When I do go online, I usually chill in the Other Metas room. I love the community, and its overall a fun place to be. I'm not too familiar with the CAP project, but I do admit that it's an interesting concept. You can find much information about the project and the process here. The CAP forum also has its own SQSA thread if you have any questions, but you can also use the Smogon Simple Question thread or PM me or the users I tagged above if you'd like. My favorite Pokemon type is Steel. Bisharp, Lucario, and Scizor are my top three favorite Pokemon, but Genesect is pretty close, too. I've also been playing a lot of Monotype recently, but I'm not great with a Steel monotype team, so I tend to use Bug. Anyway, have a great stay here at the forums!

Hello all! I'm just another guy looking to find people to battle. If I get really involved in the community, then so much the better. I've been into pokemon since the first gen, and I have been into competitive battling since the fourth. I've tried a few facebook groups to get my battling fix, but that didn't work out very well, so I'm here now. I might also post on threads that discuss things outside of pokemon, as I'm interested in other games and other things such as movies, anime and manga, etc. Anywho, hope this all goes well and that I might get to know a couple of you.

Hello everyone! Im a late twenties dude from Sweden. I've been hooked of the amazing wonder that is pokemon since the advent of blue/red and I am a proud gen 1:er that dared to start with a Bulbasaur. I've never really played competitively, just enjoyed the vanilla play-through of the games but I have always been intrigued with the viablility lists and such of these games. Well anyways, been lurking on this site for around 5 years I guess but since I have still zero experience of competitive gaming im still just gonna lurk some more but felt I could atleast introduce myself.

Hi everyone! I'm Kshimimi, I've been playing pokemon since I was a small child. My favorite pokemon is Scolipede, but for awhile before that it was Ninetales. I think my first pokemon games were Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Stadium, and my first real experience with the handhelds was Sapphire, although I picked up the earlier gens later on. I don't particularly have competitive experience, my s.o. is a little more competitively minded than me, but I like to see the strategic side of things and mostly bother myself thinking about niche setups that probably aren't actually all that viable in real competition..
I'm on PS under the same name, although I mostly use it to experiment with teams and don't play much unless somebody else bugs me to. Also I'm an artist, so that's a thing.

Hello! I'm Arquad. I've been lurking the Strategy Pokedex and playing on Pokemon Showdown as Arquad on and off for a while now, so I finally decided to make a forum account. My first game was Gold, and I've always had fun with pokemon, though I didn't really get into any competitive aspects of pokemon until XY.
I like IV breeding and building competitive teams, though I'm somewhat amateur at the latter, and I tend to make teams that ignore tiers in XY/ORAS. I also like building teams in some of the more unorthodox metagames like OU Monos and Balanced Hackmons.
I'll probably still lurk a good amount, especially with college coming back into the picture, but it's great to meet you all!
