Hello to all who read this! If it isn't clear, my favorite Pokemon is Flygon, and I'm actually basing my Youtube channel around it, for the most part. I joined Smogon to learn more about competitive strategies in online battling and to have fun with other players! I enjoy playing new Pokemon games whenever I can as well as Mario games as well.

My favorite Pokemon has to be Bisharp. Ever since I first used it competitively, I don't know, seven months ago, I loved it. Hey, I think you could contribute to Smogon through YouTube if that's something you would like to do? Visit the WiFi forum to meet other players and battle, trade, and do other in-game activities with. It's a pretty fun place to hang around, and I think you'd enjoy it. I enjoy playing a lot of videogames, especially Pokemon (duh) and Halo. Feel free to PM me or chester0334, TheHoodedGamer, or Fluke. Have a great time here!

welcome to smogon. I know my way around a few tiers in pokemon and can help you out with a few tips on battling. I really like Diamond and Pearl and gen 4 and consider it to be my favorite pokemon generation. What tiers also do you plan on playing? Also these people can help you out to Fluke , QueBien, and TheHoodedGamer.

Hello and welcome to the community:) I'm sure you will enjoy the community. I remember the first time I joined it was a little rough for me because I bopped heads with the mods a couple times. However, after some time I became very good friends with the forums and the people on the forums. I'm sure you will do great. If you want a few tips in battling shoot me up with a pm or talk to any of these other users QueBien , TheHoodedGamer , Fluke . There really nice people and would help you out. Also for basic trading if you got to the main forums page and go to wifi there is a simple question and simple answers thread. There are several nice people that can help you out. Hope you enjoy smogon.

Hi, I'm PishT_, or just Pish. I'm an incoming senior in high school and I'm in the IB (International Baccalaureate) program. I started playing Pokémon when I was 8 or so with Emerald, which is still my favorite game/generation to date. I just recently started playing on Pokémon Showdown because I only have a DS Lite and have only played through Gen V. Since EV training and IV training seem like a hassle, Pokémon Showdown and Smogon really fit me well. Also meeting people is a lot easier too. Gaming is of secondary importance to me but I still love Pokémon among other games.
I'm not that serious about laddering but I do it once and a while and I do know how to make a decent team and have extensive knowledge about the mechanics of the game. My favorite official tiers are probably OU and UU (I dabble in RU once in a while), and my favorite unofficial tier is Monotypes. Oh, I love Randoms too.
I play CS:GO on Steam among other things, and my Steam username is also PishT_ (or some variation of PishT_) so feel free to add me. I also have an alternate account on Showdown called Permalight, so if you see him, that's me.

I to like showdown and emerald I think was a great game. My favorite generation though is generation four. If you need help with creating a team or just wanted to talk about something let me know:). Although I think there's already a welcoming party consisting of QueBien and some other guys , so they would probably be better qualified hehe.
So, how did you get into smogon? I made my account around this time last year after I got voiced in the other metagames room in PS and thought it would be a good idea to get a bit more involved here in the forums. It took a while to actually learn "how to smogon" but I think I can find my way around now. I basically spend all my time in ps, but i come around periodically to check if I have any alerts or messages, it's kinda like a routine now (yes i know I'm addicted, shh).

Hi, I'm Eudemon and new here on Smogon. I've been playing pokemon for a while and started to get bored with just stuff like OR/AS in-game stuff and enjoy playing competitively. I used to breed, play wifi, and all sorts of stuff and got kind of annoyed with breeding all the time for certain pokemon I wanted and decided that it was too time-consuming to continue on with that. I just found Smogon not too long ago and decided to make an account here and browsed the Tournement section and found out that World Cup of Pokemon is gonna start soon and I'm interested to playing the best players in the world, so I figured I make an account and get started on that. Love playing ORAS OU as I feel it's a very diverse tier. Hope I can make a difference here on Smogon! :)
You can make a difference if you choose to. So I think you can make a difference:). Welcome to smogon I'm not the best in battling and probably won't be but that doesn't matter does it?
