Hello everyone! So, my name is private, however you can call me The Pokemon Engineer (Because Pokemon + my Engineering trade-shop at school). I've been a member of Smogon/Showdown since June 2014. I was drawn to Smogon because I entered a Competitive Pokemon Battle with my friend (who is not a part of Smogon, shame). I began to be captivated by Competitive Pokemon, a side of Pokemon that I've disregarded. My first tier was Ubers, and for the teams that I had did not work for for me in that tier and I began to move to other tiers. Presently, the tiers that I play and have so much fun being in are : OverUsed, UnderUsed, and Random Battles. I'm not giving out too personal information, but I'm a guy with ten years of Pokemon experience, a love for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and chess, and rap (on good days, smooth jazz). The chat-rooms that I'm usually in are: (the quite entertaining) PS! Lobby, OverUsed room, Other Metas, Tournaments and UnderUsed. I have experience in writing in a newspaper, so I'm planning on contributing to The Player. In conclusion, I'm happy to be a user in Showdown and I look forward to doing new things and meeting new people!

I've been a Smogonite since May 2014, but just recently started getting involved with the community. :) You can really learn a lot from the Showdown tiers, as you must know already. I like STEM, too, but my area of study is Biomedical science. Anyway, have fun around the site!

What I'm really hoping to do is to fit in to the art community, or, ahem, Smeargle's Studio.
I just am getting started with this computer art or whatever you call it. I only have experience with traditional.

Hey ArcaneCitrus, welcome. You made me really curious about your name, haha.. Smogon is definitely the place to learn a lot about competitive battling. When building a team, you could also check out the RMT section. Make sure you read the rules first, though.
Also curious about what you're going to create, art-wise. I'm also into art, and I've been studying audiovisual art for 3 years now. Fun to see we have something in common.

Yes, I would like to. I have been participating in the pokemon gl for a while but it gets stale. The next one coming up where you can use any two of the strongest legendaries or mythicals sounds terrible.
Whoever came up with trubbish either should be fired for creating it or applauded for actually getting it into the game. It had to be some sort of internal joke or dare.

Although I only own Omega Ruby at the moment, I have been in the pokemon scene since I picked up my first copy of Pokemon Sapphire. After that game, I was hooked! I have gotten into the competitive game and am halfway through breeding all the breedables with their sets and EV training them(about 300 to go XD). I'm not that familiar with speed tiers or really the smogon tiers so I'll learn more of that here.
My favorite game at the moment in Heartgold/Soulsilver. I loved the design of the game and the vast storyline. Not only that, but pokewalkers were legit! A close second would have to be Omega Ruby, for obvious reasons.
My favorite pokemon is definitely Talonflame! I just love his design and his cry! Also he's a cute bird :P
Here's a little about myself. I am currently enrolled in school, but I still have time to play pokemon XD. I am currently 16 years old, but I accidently made my birthday in 1996 >.<(Will fix soon!).

I've been in with Pokemon since Emerald, but not competitive battling until XY's release. You can find a guide to the tiers of Showdown here. My favorite game is Emerald, because that was my first Pokemon game. My favorite Pokemon is Bisharp; his design is awesome, and his viability in OU is great (who else remembers when the guy was UU? :D ).
