Irish Pokemon fans Unite

Hey there, I'm new to posting on Smogon, but not new to Pokemon. I'm an Irish Pokemon player looking to meet up with other Irish players. I've been playing Pokémon since the beginning and recently partook in the Pokemon Video Game Championship in London coming in the top 20.

I'm trying to get an Irish Pokemon club running on Facebook, that I'm trying to get going. I have messaged some Irish fans (please excuse me if I sound like a troll), but just in case I missed some, I'm making this thread.

The club started as a Dublin Club only because I made posters and put them up around Dublin and that's the name I had on the posters. It's open to anyone, but I am primarily looking to meet other Irish players.

I know I can't be the only Pokenerd on the Emerald Isle, so if anyone else is interested in meeting for coffee, drinks, chat, trades, battles, etc. Please either let me know or join the club so I can keep you in touch easily. Us Irish have to stick together ^_^
 
I think it is great that you are so devoted to gathering fellow Irish for this club.

Unfortunately, I am Irish but live across the pond. I wish you luck in this!

I want to live "across the Pond" someday. So far I've only visited parts of it.

Well we have 4, but 4 than would would have if we didn't play at all! Don't think any of us will be in Dublin all summer.

Trains run both ways, if you are up for if, you may have a few Dub players descending upon poor Mayo

Are you refering to the Video Game Championships? I went to the London one on my own with no guarantee of getting in, but I made it, somehow...

Hey, I'm Irish. Well, Northern Irish. Sadly I can't see myself traveling down from Belfast to play Pokemon. But as someone said, wi-fi knows no bounds.

Trains travel both ways, there could be a meeting of the masses at the next wi-fi event or Q-Con in two weeks time
 
I'm a kerryman playin pokemon! there's two of us, although my friend lost his ds and consequently his game. I love the idea, I'll be joinin you on facebook!
