* With its immunity to Glimmora's Mortal Spin, access to Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock itself, and the ability to outspeed Deoxys-S via Booster Energy, Iron Treads is a niche suicide lead for hyper offense teams due to it being able to beat other suicide leads one-on-one. However, since it can only set up Stealth Rock, Iron Treads's effectiveness as a lead is limited, especially against bulkier teams, since other leads like Glimmora and Smeargle can set more entry hazards to aid more in wallbreaking.
* Rapid Spin allows Iron Treads to remove the hazards of other suicide leads such as Deoxys-S, Mega Diancie, and Glimmora. Rapid Spin's Speed boost is able to mitigate Glimmora's Mud Shot, allowing Iron Treads to consistently outspeed it to beat it one-on-one.
* Steel Beam provides momentum for Iron Treads and its team, letting it faint more quickly while also doing decent chip damage to Pokemon such as Giratina-O and Zygarde.
* Rock Tomb is an alternative that hits Ho-Oh, Yveltal, Rayquaza, and Mega Salamence for super effective damage, preventing the latter two from setting up on Iron Treads while discouraging the former two from removing Stealth Rock.
* The first EV spread allows Iron Treads to outspeed Deoxys-S with Booster Energy so that it can set up Stealth Rock before the Deoxys-S can use Taunt, and the Special Attack EVs let it 2HKO defensive Arceus-Fairy with Steel Beam. The alternative EV spread is ideal for Rock Tomb variants, and it allows Iron Treads to avoid the OHKO from fully invested Eternatus's Flamethrower.
* Tera Ghost allows it to block Rapid Spin from opposing Iron Treads, but Iron Treads is heavily discouraged from using Terastallization, since its teammates utilize it better.
* Steel Beam is a useful tool for preventing Ho-Oh, defensive Yveltal, and Giratina-O from removing Iron Treads's Stealth Rock, since it can KO itself to stop them from using it, although this is reliant on previous chip damage or using the move twice. Against Magic Coat variants of Deoxys-S, Iron Treads can always use Rapid Spin to remove the reflected hazards before 2HKOing Deoxys-S via Earthquake.
* Against teams including Ghost-types like Marshadow, using Earthquake and playing aggressively is a decent option to catch their spinblocker off guard, since Iron Treads 2HKOes Marshadow with Earthquake, but this is prediction reliant and limits Iron Treads's ability to remove enemy hazards.
* Against bulkier teams and stall, it could be ideal to keep Iron Treads alive, since its utility in setting and removing hazards might be useful in walbreaking long-term, as well as preventing its teammates from being whittled down quickly, whether it be from hazard damage or from PP loss. Additionally, Iron Treads checks Mega Tyranitar, which could be a problem for teammates such as Mega Salamence and Yveltal.
* Since it is a suicide lead, Iron Treads fits on hyper offense teams. Pokemon like Primal Groudon, Zacian-C, Eternatus, and Ultra Necrozma all appreciate the Stealth Rock that it sets, since it lets them reach certain damage thresholds and helps with breaking through opposing bulkier teams, such as allowing the former to OHKO offensive Necrozma-DM more reliably after Stealth Rock; they all can deal with Pokemon that remove hazards too, including Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, and defensive Yveltal. Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Rayquaza, and Kyurem-B also appreciate Iron Treads removing Stealth Rock, improving their longevity significantly as they sweep.

* With its immunity to Glimmora's Mortal Spin, access to Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock itself, and the ability to outspeed Deoxys-S via Booster Energy, Iron Treads is a niche suicide lead for hyper offense teams including Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Arceus-Ground, and Zacian-C why those Pokemon in particular? May be best to just leave it broad as there's a section at the bottom for teammates. However, since it can only set up Stealth Rock, it means Iron Treads's effectiveness as a lead is limited, especially against bulkier teams, since other leads like Glimmora or Smeargle can set more hazards to aid more in wallbreaking.
* Stealth Rock is necessary for Iron Treads to be a suicide lead. Self explanatory Rapid Spin allows Iron Treads to remove the hazards of other suicide leads such as Deoxys-S, Glimmora, Shuckle, Smeargle, too many examples and Mega Diancie. Should mention the Speed boost mitigating Mud Shot from Glimmora
* Steel Beam provides momentum for Iron Treads and its team, letting it faint quicker while also doing decent chip damage to Pokemon such as Giratina-O or Zygarde. Against Magic Coat variants of Deoxys-S, Iron Treads can always Rapid Spin away the reflected hazards, before 2HKOing Deoxys-S via Earthquake. Booster Energy is also useful against Mud Shot Glimmora, since Iron Treads will still outspeed it at -1 Speed, letting it Earthquake and Rapid Spin on it more comfortably.
* With its immunity to Glimmora's Mortal Spin, access to Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock itself, and the ability to outspeed Deoxys-S via Booster Energy, Iron Treads is a niche suicide lead for hyper offense teams. (Mention that one reason to choose Treads over otherwise superior leads like Deoxys-S and Smeargle is because it beats pretty much every lead in the Metagame besides Spore Smeargle and Grimmsnarl) However, since it can only set up Stealth Rock, it means Iron Treads's effectiveness as a lead is limited, especially against bulkier teams, since other leads like Glimmora or Smeargle can set more hazards to aid more in wallbreaking.
* Rapid Spin allows Iron Treads to remove the hazards of other suicide leads such as Deoxys-S, Mega Diancie, and Glimmora. Rapid Spin's Speed boost is able to mitigate Glimmora's Mud Shot, allowing Iron Treads to consistently outspeed it to beat it one on one.

* The given EV spread allows Iron Treads to outspeed Deoxys-S with Booster Energy, so that it can set up Stealth Rock before the latter can Taunt, with the Special Attack EVs allowing Iron Treads to 2HKO defensive Arceus-Fairy with Steel Beam (Should specify the first EV spread is specifically for the Steel Beam set.). The alternative EV spread is ideal for Rock Tomb variants, and it allows Iron Treads to avoid the OHKO from fully invested Eternatus's Flamethrower.
* Tera Ghost allows it to block Rapid Spin from opposing Iron Treads, but Iron Treads is heavily discouraged from using Terastallization since its teammates utilise it better.
* Steel Beam is a useful tool for preventing Ho-Oh, defensive Yveltal and Giratina-O from Defogging away Iron Treads's Stealth Rock, since it can faint itself, stopping them from using it, although this is reliant on previous chip damage or using the move twice. (Make this its own bullet)—> Against bulkier teams and stall, it could be ideal to keep Iron Treads alive, since its utility in setting and removing hazards might be useful in walbreaking for the long-term, as well as preventing its teammates from being whittled down quickly. (Mention Treads provides valuable PP and is an excellent check to M-Tyranitar in the stall matchup)
* Since it is a suicide lead, Iron Treads fits on hyper offense teams. Pokemon like Primal Groudon, Zacian-C, Eternatus, and Ultra Necrozma all appreciate the Stealth Rock that it sets, since it lets them reach certain damage thresholds and helps with breaking through opposing bulkier teams (What are some certain damage thresholds that these mons need Stealth Rock to reach?) ;they all can deal with Pokemon that remove hazards too, including Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, and defensive Yveltal. Pokemon such as Mega Salamence, Rayquaza, and Kyurem-Black also appreciate Iron Treads removing Stealth Rock, improving their longevity significantly as they sweep.
