Thunderbolt allows it to snipe Pokemon such as Corviknight and Moltres, while Psyshock allows it to break past bulky special walls such as Blissey and Clodsire. Tera Electric is used to take Thunderbolt to new heights, OHKOing Corviknight and 2HKOing Bulky Gholdengo after a Calm Mind boost. Tera Electric also allows Iron Valiant to resist Make it Rain from Gholdengo and Thunder Clap from Raging Bolt. Iron Valiant threatens common Pokemon such as Great Tusk and Zamazenta, so Pokemon such as Kingambit and Slowking-Galar appreciate Iron Valiant as a teammate. In return, the former threatens Iron Valiant's checks like opposing Galarian Slowking, and the latter brings it in safely with Chilly Reception.

Iron Valiant threatens common Pokemon such as Great tusk Tusk and Ting-Lu Zamazenta so Pokemon such as Kingambit and Landorus -Therian Slowking-Galar appreciate Iron Valiant as a teammate. In return, they handle Pokemon the former threatens Iron Valiant's checks like opposing Slowking-galar Galar which Iron Valiant appreciates , and the latter bringing in brings it in safely via U-turn Chilly Reception.
