Is there a way to reset legendary/uber catching events?

While some may consider this thread "taboo" I've been trying to figure this out for a long time. Is there some way to use PokeSav to reset certain legendary pokemon so I can catch them again? The reason I ask is I caught an Azelf and Cresselia before really considering using them as part of my team because I used to battle with no legendaries. However, it seems azelf and cresselia seem to be more widely used now as part of standard battle. So now I want to go catch them again and SR for natures/IVs -.-' Anybody know how? If mods find this thread "evil and taboo" please delete then. OR if anybody has good azelf/cresselia's they are willing to clone, LMK. Though i prefer the satisfaction of catching it myself :P
 
I think you can re-trigger events with as little as an Action Replay. I don't think there is any need to get into the Poke'Sav stuff.
 
If you have and want to use pokesav, why not just make yourself a new Azelf / Cresselia and forget about the trouble of SR'ing for them?
 
But can't you re-trigger the events with an Action Replay? Like say I've already caught Cresselia, and want another shot at it without re-starting my whole game, if I had an AR, wouldn't there be a way to re-trigger the event?
 
It's probably possible, the only hard part is finding the codes. I've seen Dialga/Palkia encounter codes, but as for the sprites and Cresselia, I don't know.

Does anyone know if hacking another event item will allow you to re-catch that pokemon?
 
I know that there are reencounter codes for the event pokes, but I didn't get the chance to benifit from them although I know that they work perfectly fine on an Action Replay
 
Post the codes/Link to codes plis, I caught my Legendaries before I knew about IV and it would give me a 2nd chance at them. =P

But you know, these re-encounter codes just might be those codes that "mess up your game".

Since we're somewhat on the topic, what would be a better purchase safety wise, as well as ability wise:

DS / GBA GameShark

or

DS / GBA Action Replay?

No(the re-enter event item to catch it again). And yes you can re-activate events through AR and through pokesav

I will have one in about 2 hours! Since the Canadian dollar rose, I can get it from Americans for cheap on Ebay! =D
 
No my friend, the American dollar dropped. The Canadian dollar is now worth more than the American one. A recession is occurring, unfortunately..

Sorry about going off topic. Congratz on getting an AR. But can someone tell me whats better for the DS and GBA? GameShark or AR?
 
Yeah, if someone has the reactivate codes, tell us... Looks like I messed my game and de-activated (?) the event legends without even catching them...

... Huh, Shaymin isn't at Flower Paradise, but I see her sprite in the beginning of the Seabreak Path, but she doesn't say a thing ._.

AR on both systems IMO
 
I tried doing the PokeSav reevent trigger, but when I tried to go catch Azelf, I couldn't reach the cave :( Edit: I don't have an AR. I have an R4

I apologize to mods if this isn't allowed (telling people how to hack the game), but this is the thread for it, it's semi-legit, and I felt this was more convenient than making people sift through WonderTomb codes to find ones that are acceptable....
