Is this Gyarados worth EV training?

I think I can say that I got owned pretty hard. Here are its IVs:

HP: 29
Attack: 27
Defense: 30
Sp. Atk: 12
Sp. Def: 1
Speed: 27
 
In My oppinion, yes, if it has a good nature. however, I'm sure there are many people out there who will disagree. DDos needs defenses so he can DD up while under fire(it's best to force a switch, but there are times when you can't), so that has some weight as well.
 
IMO, no. Really, SDef is a nice stat to have for Gyarados, and the rest of your stats aren't so amazing as to make up for that completely.
 
People, please stop making threads asking whether or not you should keep something or how you should EV train something. This is the kind of clutter that the "Look at what I bred" thread is here to reduce.
