Ok Victoire Use String shot to tie Zubats wings together so it can't move. This should tie it down and make it harder for it's flying attacks to work!

Then use a Zen Headbut for some super effective damage!

Follow it up with a Flamethrower. Hopefully the burning string will cause a burn!

Boss, this ain't ASB arena. Nobody's here except us and those two guys over there.

...Uh, right! I knew that! I was just trying to fool the reader! Ehehe...

Liar.

Okay, it was just a brainfart. Anyway, tonight's battle pits newcomers Itchni and LockDown at this lakeside we're all at. The former opens up with his Larvesta Victoire, while the latter sends out his Zubat named after what we all feel when we take five steps down any given cave. Fucking bats...

The battle opens up with Cave Rage rushing at Itchni's Larvesta with a graceful flurry of Acrobatic strikes, doing an impressive amount of damage! Of course, Victoire isn't going to stand for her foe's aerial dominance, and grounds him with a String Shot, binding those wings of his!

Significantly slower without being able to fly around, Rage loses the initiative as Victoire rams the Zubat with a nasty little Zen Headbutt! Unfortunately, that flinch Itchni was hoping for never happened, what with Zubats having no eyes to flinch with (but mostly because of inner focus). Regaining his bearings, Rage attempts to flap up an Air Slash, but can't move his wings to do so!

Victoire adds insult to injury by letting loose a Flamethrower at her hapless opponent, setting his silk bonds ablaze! However, Rage's panicked rolling around the ground manages to beat out the flames before he can suffer any burns. Not only that, but the string shot that bound him has burned away, allowing the Zubat to move freely again.

And he is PISSED.

Needless to say, that bit of Acrobatics proved quite painful for Itchni's Larvesta.

Although Itchni displayed some impressive tactics, LockDown's type advantage has given him the lead in terms of damage. Which will carry the day? Find out after these messages!

Anyway, LockDown's Zubat starts the round off by letting loose a Ray of Confusion that badly disorients Victoire, so much so that her attempt to bind Cave Rage with another String shot only leads to her tripping over a root! Rage takes advantage-boss-of this, blowing Itchni's Larvesta away with an Air Slash, but-boss-it doesn't stop her from charging at the Zubat, combining-boss-Take Down with Zen Headbutt to smash Rage with-boss-a Psycho Rush! That has GOTTA hurt! However, in spite of-boss-the pain, LockDown's bat retaliates with Acrobatic maneuvers, doing just-BOSS-barely enough damage to KO Victoire!

First blood goes to LockDown, but Cave-BOSS!-Rage has already taken a hefty bit of damage. Can Itchni turn this around? Find out after the break!
