It's a Brand New Day to Rate someone's team!

I'm trying to make a Trick Room team using Mr. Mime and Claydol as my two main guys. Flygon is there to try and recover if anything goes wrong which after a few battles has and mostly failed. I'm just wondering if there's any suggestions to improve my team. I'm aiming toward using BL and UU pokes.

Mr. Mime - Filter
Macho Brace
Timid
HP - 178EV, Speed - 252EV, SP Defense - 80EV

Trick
Power Swap
Healing Wish
Trick Room

Main starter, dies instantly if Weavile is the opponents starter and I can't do much about that, I'm thinking of giving him more Defense instead of SP defense. Usually it's Trick to give the other poke a machobrace (Laughs ensues when Mr. Chomp loses his power item for a Macho Brace) then trick room and switch out. I don't know if I should put up something for him to baton pass.

Ursaring - Guts
Flame Orb
Adamant
HP - 6EV, Attack - 252EV, Defense - 252EV

Brick Break
Crunch
Facade
Ice Punch

Main fighter for maybe a good 2-3 turns then gets horribly knocked out. Usually takes 1 or two guys. Or horrendously dies.

Claydol - Levitate
(None)
Brave
252 Attack EV, 128 Defense EV, 128 SP. Defense EV

Explosion
Trick Room
Stealth Rock
Toxic

Other guy to Trick Room. Usually goes in on an earthquake, gets clobbered by something trying to Trick room then depending on the guy stealth rocks or dies by explosion.

Honchcrow - Superluck
Scope Lens
Brave
HP 252EV, Attack 252EV, Defense 6 EV

Drill Peck
Night Slash
Substitute
Roost

Sub in, and Night Slash away. And pray Crit pops up.

Ampharos - Static
Shuca Berry
Quiet
40 HP EV, Sp. Attack - 252EV, Sp. Def - 218EV

Counter
Thunder Bolt
HP Ice
Signal Beam

I like Ampharos and he looks funny. No real comment on him. Counter with the berry has taken down a few Chomps and Infernapes. Usually the Healing Wish from Mr. Mime goes to him.

Flygon - Levitate
Choice Scarf
Adamant
HP - 6EV, Attack 252EV, Speed - 252EV

Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Punch
U-Turn

My Ace in the hole. Nothing goes well? Well he's the guy that I hope can take out at least 1 guy. So not all is lost.

I know my team needs tons of work. I'm just wondering if there's any suggestions to improve on it? I know I get killed by Gengar and Swampert which is a huge problem for me but I can't find a decent poke to counter and fit in with my team.

I stopped after seeing that you maxed Mr. Mime's speed and gave it a macho brace. Ok, so you can trick the Brace onto Chomp there's no way Mr. Mime will take a hit from it and, with the macho brace, Mime won't outspeed it either.

i thought of that especially when giving away macho braces actually counters what i'm trying to set up. i really should try putting choice scarf to get as much speed as possible to trick room then die

macho brace tricking kills your tr strat. the poke you trick it on to will out spd you in tr

i know, thats why i asked for a suggestion. my original idea was to not completely rely on Trick Room, since it lasts really only about 3 turns after switching and stuff. so there'll still be a slow poke on their side, while Mr. Mime's speed can trick room again before dying

it works somewhat in shoddy, but it's incredibly unreliable because i have no idea what item i'm going to get in return

I think your best bet would to be leading with Bronzong to set up Trick Room. I would just use this over Mr.Mime because Mime really isn't going to be achieving much in OU.

There is always Slowking/bro to setup Trick Room again if you wanted to go that route.

Trick Room always goes last in a turn, no matter how fast the user is. If you want to make sure a Pokémon goes last, even under Trick Room, give it a Lagging Tail. Mr. Mime still seems like a poor choice for this job. Hypno, Banette, and Kecleon all learn Trick Room and either Trick or Switcheroo. Perhaps one of those would be better.

wow i did not know that. that makes my team vastly different now. back to the drawing board
