Arena: WarioWare, Inc.
Field Type: Neutral
Complexity: Moderate
Format: All
Restrictions: No Water Source, No External Grass, No External Rocks
Ref instructions: While not compulsory, you may wish to have characters from the WarioWare series issue the challenges. If so, here are some useful images: Wario, Mona, Jimmy T, Kat and Ana, Dribble and Spitz, Dr Crygor, 9-Volt, Orbulon, Ashley, Young Cricket

An artificial environment with no external water source or natural grass. Digging and seismic moves are allowed. Weather is allowed.

At the beginning of each round, the ref will give a task to the participating pokemon to perform during the round. It can be anything as long as all active pokemon can feasibly accomplish it (eg, use non-STAB moves only). Any pokemon that fail to complete the task take damage equal to 1/4 of their max HP.

When struck with an Electric attack, they transfer the energy into their body, using it to increase their Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts. If a Pokemon has a type immunity to Electric attacks, Lightning Rod will not activate.
Rock Head: (Innate) This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.
Reckless (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has an innately aggressive nature that lets it use all-out attacks with recoil more effectively. Recoil attacks from this Pokemon have two (2) more Base Attack Power, and recoil percentage is unaffected.

Swarm: (Innate) When this Pokemon’s HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any Bug-typed attack is increased by 2. (eg Silver Wind goes from 6 to 8, X-Scissor from 8 to 10).
Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.
Light Metal (DW UNLOCKED): (Innate) The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Priority is applied to the summed Base Attack Power of a multi-hit move (e.g. Double Kick has priority at 6 BAP, Skill Link Bullet Seed doesn't at 15 BAP.)

Welcome to WarioWare! The owners of the place seem to have disapeared, so the trainers have the place to themselves! However, due to the nature of the place, the MicroGames are still going in full swing, and one being is in control of where those games lead during the battle.

"Kekekekekeke! This will be amusing!"

Let us see if he decides to have mercy on the trainers.

Just needed to point out that you got Scizor and Rotom's items the wrong way around. Rotom should be holding the Exp. Share.

If he uses a damaging Ground-type move, change that action to Counter.
If he uses a protective/evasive move and did not use a protective/evasive move on the previous action, change that action to Toxic Spikes and push actions back.

"DAMAGE!"

The Spiritomb gives a shout, and the battle begins. It was an easy task that the Forbidden Poke'mon gave the battlers to start with, and it was easily completed as the Gligar threw a bunch of sand into the Nidorino's area. The Poke'mon, previously charging up an Ice Beam, decides to counter the attack as best as he could, striking the Gligar as it withdrew.

The Spiritomb nods as the battle continues, satisfied at the first scratches that were caused.

The Gligar, sensing a possible Ice Beam in the near future, gathers speed and bounces off of the Nidorino as it gathers its focus. Unfortunetally for the Gligar, its flight causes it to lose focus on the trap it had set up. Also, its opponent gathers its energy, trying to aim for a critical spot.

The Gligar and Nidorino repeat the actions of the first action again, but the Gligar uses the momentum of the Counter to flee back to its trainer as the Spiritomb loses patience and gives a shout.

"DODGE!"

The battlefield suddenly is absorbed in black light, then changes from a room to a near empty freeway on another world. "Near-empty" are the key words here: barrelling down the freeway is a single large truck, right towards the battlers, and I do not think its stopping anytime soon.

Firstly, I believe you're supposed to wait for IAR to send in his mon before you issue the challenge.

Secondly, does Dodge count? Bear in mind, challenges have to be completable by all active pokemon (which is why you don't issue challenges until you know what all the active mons are).

"DODGE!"

That is the Spiritomb's command this time around.

Deciding to weaken the opposition, both go for super effective attacks, dealing heavy damage to Whacamole and moderate to Horned King. However, Horned King's speed fell during the assault.

The the truck barrelling down on the two fighters, Whacamole dodges quickly below ground, while Horned King slowly tries to dive out of the way. The truck misses them both completely, and the battlers return back to position.

The fighters then repeat the actions of the first round, but Horned King gets a pleasant surprise as Whacamole gets an unplesant one: the beam has frozen Whacamole solid!

I believe Diglett was supposed to use Magnitude on action 3, not Bulldoze.
Correction made, not that it changed any damage. You are free to order, Objection.

Objection pointed out Rivalry, which should have effected calculations. I am NOT going to finish correcting that flaw until I have recovered from something. In the meantime, do not post, please.

I haven't recovered, but I'm well enough to have fixxed the Rivalry issue. Objection is free to order (but can't switch, due to Arena Trap), and Its_A_Random is free to counter-order as well. However, I doubt I'll be able to assist you with this much longer, so I'll find a subref. Sorry about this.

As Itsumo the absurdly creepy Spiritomb fades into the darkness, both battlers breath a sigh of relief, happy to be free of its tormenting challenges. But then the BASTIODON BRIGADE busts down the door, taking charge over this little "Warioware" place.

The Bastiodon Brigade appears to have interrupted a Nidosomething participating in their favorite activity: fainting ground-types. A helpless frozen Diglett is being ruthlessly raked by a frigid SIBERIA BEAM, and the crowd of Bastiodon chuckle and smile (if their rock-solid jaws were capable of such frivolous emotions). Objection has certainly grabbed an early lead with the ground-smashing might of Horned King the Nidosomething and his trusty Soviet technology, can he keep it?

Just want to point out that, since Nidorino didn't complete the challenge in time, it should take WarioWare damage (which, for Nidorino, is 25 damage).

The standard arena begins to fade away, only as a massive pixely police force rounds the corner. Startled, your pokemon look down at the floor, see bags full of WARIODOLLARS and realize they had just robbed a bank! Quick --
"DON'T ACT SUSPICIOUS"
Use at least one non-attacking move to blend in with the crowd of pedestrians.

Really just bother me sooner...I usually get done within 12 hours of bothering -.-

The misspelled Its_A_Random returns to the battlefield to defeat his first opponent, now weakened after his teammate's (and WARIO's) attacks. However, he first begins by acting decidedly unsuspicious, simply Hardening like dozens of other males around the town. Then, as the police move past, unaware of the culprit hardening right under their noses, the Gligar makes its move and strike Horned King with a Sand Tomb!
