I've Started A Trend: Athenodoros vs Temperantia (Ref Darkamber8828)

It said only send two Pokemon to the ref, Temperantia, so I'll just pretend your unapproved Bellsprout doesn't exist yet.

Open Challenge
2v2 Doubles Training Battle (Doesn't count towards w/l)
2 Day DQ (3 Day Ref)
2 Recovery/4 Chills
Send 2 Pokemon to Ref
Darkamber8828 Athenodoros goes second during first round
Arena: Smeargle's Studio

Littered with paintings, all moves are allowed because stuff can come out of the paintings because they're magic. The first round, no abilities or items will be active, and moves will do no damage, have no effect, and cost no energy, except for Sketch. Sketch costs no Energy and has -100 priority on Round 1.
Since you didn't post any rules, I'll assume Switch=KO, All Abilities, No Items, Fox only, Final Destination.

Daedalus the Smeargle (M)
Nature: Nature: Hasty (Multiplies base Speed by 1.15 and provides a flat accuracy boost on all attacks equal to its new Base Speed squared, then divided based on its evolution stage. [+9% Acc.], subtracts one (1) Rank from Defence.)
Type: Normal

Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Abilities:
Own Tempo: (Innate) This Pokemon moves at its own pace and when confused, it will never harm itself in confusion. If the Pokemon also has Tangled Feet, it will raise Accuracy by one (1) Stage.

Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects.

Moody (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon's traits are always fluctuating from one strength to another. At the end of each round, one of the Pokemon's stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, Accuracy, Evasion) will be boosted by two (2) stages and another will be reduced by one (1) stage. This stat change lasts until the end of that round, where Moody is re-applied, overwriting the boosted and dropped stats. This stat boost/drop occurs outside the normal boosts/drops.

Lapras (M), "Typhon"

Nature:
Quiet - Adds * to Special Attack. A 15% decrease (rounded down) in Base Speed and a +5% increase in accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 90) on an opponent's attacks.

Type:
Ice - Ice STAB; immune to freezing, no vision loss or damage in Hail, perfectly accurate and 30% Protect breaking Blizzard in Hail, Hail heals burns on Ice-typed Pokemon.
Water - Water STAB; Can breathe and have excellent mobility when underwater, are less capable on land unless they are entirely amphibious. Splash and Ice Moves have Energy Cost reduced by one (1).

Abilities:
Water Absorb - (Innate) This Pokemon absorbs water attacks and instead of taking damage from them, recovering 50% of the damage the water attack would have done. A Pokemon that attacks itself with water to heal only recieves 25% of the damage that attack would do to itself.
Shell Armour - (Innate) This Pokemon’s thick, bony outer shell prevents it from taking critical hits.
Hydration (DW) - (Innate) This Pokemon absorbs water during the rain to heal any status effects afflicting this Pokemon.

Easy KO Counters my ass.

Dwebble- Ramses (M)
Nature: Adamant (Atk up, SpA decreased)
Type: Bug/Rock
Bug: Bug STAB; more mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gains an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.
Rock: Rock STAB; reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Abilities:
Sturdy: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
Shell Armor: (Innate) This Pokemon’s thick, bony outer shell prevents it from taking critical hits.
Weak Armor (DW): (Can Be Enabled) The Pokemon can loosen its worn defensive armor so that it will break off when an opponent uses a contact attack, reducing the Pokemon's Defense and increasing their Speed by one (1) stage for each hit.

Tynamo- Shibimaru (M)

Type: Electric
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, Thunder has perfect accuracy and 30% chance of breaking Protect during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.

Abilities:
Levitate: (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

So.

Temperantia actions for R1
Athenodoros actions for R1 and R2
Temperantia's actions for R2

Let's get it.

Athenodoros

Official Smogon Know-It-All
In the interests of moving lolfirstround along, I'll just put my actions here for when Temp gets back. I'll put them in hide tags so that there is some semblance of this match going the way it should :)

Round One

Lapras: Perish Song => Sheer Cold (Smeargle) => Fissure (Smeargle)
Smeargle: Sketch (PSong) => Sketch (Sheer Cold) => Sketch (Fissure)

Round Two

Lapras: Hydro Pump * 3 @ Dwebble
Smeargle: Taunt (Tynamo) => Taunt (Dwebble) => Dragon Pulse (Tynamo)

Oh, and I might have exaggerated slightly about easy counters. To be fair, I hadn't decided on Lapras at that point in time. It was only afterwards that I realised that I wanted Perish Song.

Well.... Pointless Round 1:

Dwebble- Hone Claws, Withdraw, Chill
Tynamo- Tackle, Thunder Wave, Tackle all at Smeargle

Now for something productive (Round 2):

Dwebble- Hone Claws-> Rock Blast @ Smeargle-> Stone Edge @ Smeargle

Tynamo- Spark @ Smeargle-> Charge Beam @ Smeargle-> Spark @ Smeargle

ASDF THE ORDER ATHENO YOU FUCKED IT UP SO MUCH

atheno would be posting the first the second round, so you should probably delete that or something, Temper. Reffing this in a moment.

Athenodoros

Official Smogon Know-It-All
Yes, DA. The order is Temp does whatever. Then I do all of my stuff, and then Temp goes, right? Well, that's what ended up happening, except that the nonsensical first round was changed, which doesn't matter.

Oh.

Ok then.

Reffing both rounds simultaneously. Placeholder.

Also Atheno, your nature description for Lapras is outdated.

And Temper, you forgot size, weight, and bst on Tynamo.

Round 1: Athenodoros Why Are You Attacking With Smeargle (And Why Sketch Perish Song When It Got Nerfed To Oblivion)

Conglaturation, Daedalus learned Perish Song, Fissure, and Sheer Cold. A winner is you!

Round 2: ITT Lapras Curb Stomp

Daedalus, proud of his artwork, zips ahead of his opponents and Taunts Shibimaru, pissing the little...electric minnow thing off. Ramses Hone Claws, sharpening those nasty-looking things to maul someone, raising his attack and accuracy! Tynamo, his primary form of dicking around with people via paralysis neutered due to irrational anger, bloodthirstily charges towards Daedalus and slams him on his Rank 1 Defense with Spark. Typhon takes advantage of being completely ignored by the opposition to rend Ramses with a powerful Hydro Pump. Damn, I am so fucked in that Gym Battle.

Fuck.

Taking a surprising amount of damage from the completely unmenacing pokemon, Daedalus still manages to Taunt Ramses as well. He counters by Rock Blast (4)ing the jerk in the face, and is followed up with a Charge Beam from Shibimaru, which doesn't raise his Special Attack. Sorry. Typhon spams Hydro Pump, because strategy isn't needed when you're 453 pounds heavier than your opponent, eh?

Daedalus decides to fight back, firing a Dragon Pulse at Shibimaru with the force of a mountain thrown by an amoeba. "Meh", says Temperantia, and continues to punish the Smeargle with combined Stone Edge and Spark assaults. Typhon spams Hydro Pump more.

Can Temperantia's team topple the teetering Daedalus, or will DAT LAPRAS spam them all to death?

Round 3: Dat Torment...And Dat Pain Split

Typhon Ice Shards Ramses for some chip damage, and the hills are alive with the sound of Daedalus completely neutering Ramses with Torment. Ouch. It's all up to Shibimaru, and he bravely Sparks the Smeargle again.

It's not enough. Daedalus saves his ass with Pain Split. Nerf now, denying poor Shibimaru his kill. He continues on with single-minded bloodlust, blasting the rejuvenated Daedalus with a Charge Beam and raising his Special Attack! Typhon sprays the weakened Tynamo with a Brine. Oof.

Daedalus amazingly gets a KO on Ramses with Surf, ending the poor thing's suffering at last. Shibimaru tries one last, desperate Spark...and keels over to Typhon's Brine, KO'd as well.
