Nymble functions as a priority attacker capable of being both a revenge killer and a potential late-game cleaner that abuses Tinted Lens and Life Orb-boosted Bug-type moves. First Impression gives Nymble an incredibly strong first-turn-entry priority move that allows it to threaten to revenge kill most of the metagame's offensive threats with proper chip. Leech Life lets Nymble stay in and make progress instead of pivoting out while offsetting Life Orb recoil and easing entry hazard chip damage with meaningful recovery. U-turn supports Nymble's role on momentum-heavy structures, allowing it to punish switches into bulkier answers and bring in teammates that exploit them. U-turn allows Nymble to mantaining momentum while racking up chip that pushes future First Impression or Leech Life rolls into KO range. Agility allows Nymble to turn into a threatening cleaner that can outrun nearly every relevant Choice Scarf user once it sets up, while Sucker Punch trades that endgame sweeping potential for more repeatable priority that punishes full-attacking sets after First Impression has been used. An Adamant Nature with 228 EVs maximizes Nymble's Attack to capitalize on Life Orb and Tinted Lens while 236 EVs in Speed allow it to hit 14 Speed letting it outpace most defensive switch-ins, Shell Smash Shellder when using Agility into protect, and tie with Jolly Alolan Sandshrew in Snow. The leftover EVs in Defense help to ease damage against common priority moves such as Fake Out, Sucker Punch and Ice Shard. Tera Bug amplifies Nymble's main gameplan by further boosting First Impression, Leech Life, and U-turn, turning previously manageable rolls into guaranteed KOs and making it much harder for even bulky resists to pivot around its attacks once Tera Bug is committed.
