The Lead

s_metagross.png

Steel Monger@Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EV's: 236 HP, 252 Att, 20 Spe
Nature: Adamant
~Bullet Punch
~Thunder Punch
~Ice Punch
~Earthquake

My own CBGross. I made Steel Monger to outspeed the Steel Killer: Magnezone. Magnezone sits at 177 Speed while Steel Monger sits at 181 Speed. Bullet Punch hurts a lot and helps against suicide leads and Focus Sash leads. Thunder Punch and Ice Punch for Boltbeam, a combination resisted only by Magnezone, Lanturn and Shedinja. Magnezone and Lanturn are outsped and KO-ed by EQ and Shedinja is hammered hard by Bullet Punch. This set also works great at revenge killing because it hit's all the types in the game for at least nuetral.

The Dragon Dancer

salamence.png

Drago@Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252 HP, 180 Def, 76 Spe
Nature: Jolly
~Dragon Dance
~Roost
~Dragon Claw
~Earthquake

This set was kindly jacked from Aldaron. I was looking for a good DDer that also has good recovery, so I chose Salamence. I went to the Analysis Workshop and found this. Dragon and Ground is only resisted by Skarmory and Levitate Bronzong. This is my ansewer(?) to fighters like Heracross, Lucario(no HP {Ice}) and Machamp(no Ice Punch). DD as they switch or try to hit you with pitiful Stone Edges and Roost when low on HP. Overall Mence has good defensive capabilities that shouldn't be overlooked.

The Curser that Sponges Special Hits like a Man

snorlax.png

Big Guy@Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EV's: 168 HP, 120 Def, 220 SpDef
Nature: Adamant
~Curse
~Return
~Rest
~Fire Punch

I really don't want to use the fat whore that is Blissey so I opted for something even better: Curselax! Curse up and Rest when low on HP. This set is walled by Heatran, though. I went Adamant to pack some more oomph! then Careful. Pretty awesome pokemon.

The Rock

regirock.png

The Rock@Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EV's: 252 HP, 6 Att, 252 Def
Nature: Impish
~Toxic
~Stealth Rock
~Stone Edge
~Earthquake

Regiock is Stealth Rock setter and Toxic-er. Rock and Ground is a good combination, only being resisted by Levitate Bronzong and Magnet Rise Steels. Skarmory is not a problem because I could predict a Roost and EQ it. I moved the Special Defense EVs to defense since I got Special covered with Snorlax.

The Special Cat

espeon.png

Espy@Leftovers
Ability: Synchcronize
EV's: 6 HP, 252 SpAtt, 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
~HP {Fighting}
~Shadow Ball
~Calm Mind
~Baton Pass

Fuck Azelf, I got the original Psychic. Anyway, Fighting and Ghost hit at least every type in the game fo nuetral. Anyway no Fake Tears because I have two Special Sweepers and Baton Passing Calm Minds would be better. If something that threatens comes into play I Baton Pass to an effective counter. The only thing I have to watch out for is Weavile, random Scarfers and priority moves.

The Prehistoric Leaf

sceptile.png

Ninja@Life Orb/Petya Berry
Ability: Overgrow
EV's: 6 HP, 252 SpAtt, 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
~Focus Blast
~Dragon Pulse
~HP {Fire}
~Grass Knot

Okay I really needed another Special Attacker and Sceptile had an interesting movepool. Anyway Petya or Life Orb? Petya only works when I'm under 25%, but Life Orb works all the time but takes 10% HP off each attack. No Leaf Storm because it interfears with Petya's +SpAtt. This moveset hits 12/17 types for SE. Timid because from time to time he may get Calm Minds from Espy.

This is the team. Please tell me changes to pokemon, movesets, natures and EVs. BTW this is for Shoddy.

I like Italics.:toast:

I would say Expert Belt over Life Orb on Sceptile to fool oponents into thinking it has Choice Specs. That's pretty much it.

But why are you mentioning the BoltBeam combination on you Metagross if it has a Choice Band?

Now that I really think about... idk.

And Expert Belt I'll try it out.

^^ >.>

Really? Doesn't Steel hit Bug for SE?

steel does not hit SE against bug. it hits SE against grass and rock, so perhaps you saw a bug/grass type get owned by steel?

Anyway, I would personally go with life orb for sceptile. Having 5 weaknesses, I could definitely see it being KOed without going 25% HP or below.

This is your 7th RMT in 10 days. The forum description says "Try to limit the amount of threads you post" so I suggest you heed that advice! :)
