So uhh you've tested that out in the current meta and confirm?
Its pointless to theorymon because its not definite it will become uu and you can't accurately predict what it would be like if it dropped
On 1337:
| 34 | Lickilicky | 167 | 6.157% | 152 | 6.644% |
| 35 | Weavile | 164 | 6.046% | 112 | 4.895% |
Lickilicky... Interesting seeing a NU mon so high... I think it was Demonkiller who was using it.
I expected Weavile higher, considering it beats the spikers and breaks a lot of common cores, at least I bumped it a bit on 1337 but not enough though.
.
I don't think Froslass is getting enough love. It is easily one of the best spikers in the entire tier and I would even say that is as good or better than Deoxys-D as a spiker for offensive teams. If/When Deoxys-D leaves the tier, I expect Froslass to go up in usage.
Fair points, I had forgotten completely about Destiny Bond (thanks a ton SC-lass >.>). I guess Froslass is just in the unfortunate position of competing with the King of 1337 stats and Queen of normal stats. Hopefully when people start diversifying, other spikers will get some more usage.I suppose Scolipede has some selling points, like laying down and absorbing Toxic Spikes, but it isn't necessarily better than Froslass. She has access to Taunt and Destiny Bond, which are both great moves for any fast spiker, and being able to spinblock in a pinch is also really convenient. Even if she cannot block some spinners efficiently, it is still better than having no spinblocker at all.
Froslass' defensive typing and offensive stats aren't too relevant, as she isn't really meant to defend or attack, but rather to set up as many spikes as possible while "stunning" your opponent with Taunt and Destiny Bond. Scolipede lacks access to these moves, so it really just depends on whether you want a hard hitting Bug/Poison that can set up and absorb toxic spikes or an Ice/Ghost that can stun your opponent while setting up. They are both good offensive spikers, and it mainly depends on your team's needs and your personal tastes to decide which would fit better.
Honestly the only thing that majorly irks me about sand is that sand veil is still unbanned; it is absolutely possible to play around sand teams otherwise.
