Just a fair warning, this is not for the faint of heart or members of PETA. If you don't like violence, do not click on this link. If you're a member of PETA, don't click on this link and please, don't breed.

Apparently the Japanese like to watch all kinds of creatures fight to the death for sheer amusement. For instance, a Scorpion vs. a Beetle:

Apparently, the Scorpion was not properly EV trained.

Dude, that was actually pretty entertaining. Funny thing is, though, that we have the animal cruelty thread here as well.

[edit] I'd actually say Pinsir used Guillotine.

Yeah, we were watching this stuff in #fluodome the other day.

I have to say that to me this has nothing to do with animal violence or cruelty though...they are just bugs!

I don't really see why this is in Congregation since, as khold says, there is already a topic about animal cruelty. This doesn't promote any discussion, it's just a beetle killing a scorpion...

this is actually how pokemon got started. sugiormi (or whatever his name is) as kid used to collect bugs and get them to fight each other. this inpsired him to create pokemon.

Thanks Atlas, good to know.

Um... I think that's about it for this thread.
