Not really a fan of Miles Davis to be honest. These are some of my favs.

I also got some '50s Ben Webster stuff, mostly ballads. Love those as well.

From the newer stuff these two I really like:

@Ekypsekim:
If you like that version of sunny, you'll prolly like Nightlife by Marvin Gaye.

You can't have a jazz thread without Miles Davis Bitches Brew.

Bitches Brew (the track, not the album), split into three parts (~27 minutes total)

Edit:

>mentions Miles Davis multiple times

Pink Floyd? The Doors? Led Zeppelin? None of that is jazz. This is jazz.

Nefertiti - Miles Davis
Cantaloupe Island - Herbie Hancock
Blue Monk - Thelonious Monk
Take the A Train - Duke Ellington
All Blues - Wayne Shorter
So What - Miles Davis

might edit with more later but just wanted to set the thread on track

Thisthisthisthisthisthis. Roy's list is also a good start, and I have a lot of excellent fusion artists that I could recommend if anyone was interested.
