When I got a Draco Meteor Jirachi on my DS I made this set. It has been tested on Wi-Fi alot. It is a great set. Also the move Draco Metor needs to be added to Jirachi. It's a Gamestop event released in the US a while ago.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Naive - 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 4 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Hidden Power Ground / Hidden Power Fire
- Iron Head
- Wish

- Has great netural coverage only walled by Skarmory , Shedinja , and Bronzong
- Wish to heal. Also funtions as a good Wishpasser.
- HP Ground prefered over HP Fire due to losing 1 Spe IV meaning you can't tye with Salamence and hpoe to OHKO with Draco Meteor.
- Heatran is a great partner OHKOing Skamory and Bronzong.
- Magnezone can trap and dispose of Skarmory and Bronzong.
- Very hard to wall due to massive damage output with netural coverage on nearly eveything.

I'm not sold on this set's usefulness, can you provide some logs of this set being successful please? I'd like to see consecutive logs, not only ones in which you show how this set beats x or y situations. Thanks.

I don't think this can work, after the initial surprise this set can't really do much. The reason is because after a D.M. the Hidden Power's power will drop significantly. Also, sure Dragon-type attacks have a large neutral coverage, but without STAB its not gonna do much to anything but Dragons.

The truth is that the only thing Jirachi is benefiting from by using Draco Meteor is simply overall coverage -- specifically it now has the possibility to hit Infernape and other type of Pokémon that it cannot touch when it uses moves such as Iron Head, Fire Punch, etcétera; these are completely different topics, though. Nevertheless, I'm not pleased with the idea of this set, at all. The only reason why I asked for some logs is because I am slightly curious about this set's performance. It seems to me that it's all about coverage when suggesting this set, but there are other variants of Jirachi who can actually dispose of Dragon-type Pokemon and propitiate much better and wide coverage to the team in general (i.e.: Expert Belt Jirachi). I'm leaning towards disapproving this set, but I'm going to wait for my partners' opinions, and the logs I requested, for now.

To be honest, this set strikes me as just another average set that could probably work, but doesn't really merit a spot on-site. In other words, some Pokemon just have a bunch of moves, so obviously they would have a million sets that could be "effective," but we're not looking to find every mediocre set and throw it on-site. If you can provide some REALLY convincing logs that this thing is amazing, then I might reconsider, but for now it's a no from me.

A jirachi with draco meteor and wish would probably benefit the ubers metagame a lot more than OU, so unless you change this up to work in ubers I am goin to have to say no

Actually I think it has been implemented onto shoddy, make sure you build the team for smogon university. I just remember seeing a few people use it on the ladder...

Logs were requested a month ago, but we haven't seen anything. I'm locking this thread under inactivity.
