Quick question....Never done a poll on a thread. How does one change the options in it ? Nvm Had to ask a mod lol
-----------------------------------------------
Well, I wanted to make a bulky rain team. So I though of some of the most annoying members in all of OU that could be put together. My first goal was to make it a stall team. However, in time it made it change into a somewhat HO rain team with some bulk. So without further ado here is my team.

th

Rain Derp (Politoed) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Scald
- Toxic
- Perish Song
- Ice Beam

Anyway, as with almost all rain teams (aside from RD SwSw ones...anyway), one must carry Poli. The reason I chose this set Is simple. Scald and IB just for some coverage and not total taunt bait. However, the other 2 moves are important to me. Im able to cut through boosters with PS and IB is just a good coverage move. Anyway. Max hp and def let me survive so many things it's funny to watch.

th

Choke2Croak (Toxicroak) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute

This is the annoyer that just keeps coming back. He has often been the last man standing and because of it, has boosted to +6/6 and been able to stay at 100% for the entire round. This is the guy who gives me an immunity to my own weather, and a free switch-in on many fighting pokemon. The only things that have been able to take him down from the start are Psychic types/moves. And the strange 1-in-a million Banded BB Skarm. And once he's behind a sub, he gets a grand total of 18.5% o his health factoring in rain and lefties. And on top of this, Drain Punch is Icing on his HP bar.

th

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor
- Sacred Sword

Anyway, the second to my 2 ponies. I chose Terrakkion because of his ability to sweep once his few counters are gone. Which it happens that my team can do decently. Scizzor, burnt, by scald, drained by Tox or just killed by Virizon. This is also my main revenge killer. Without him I would have quite a loss of muscle. Now I use Rock Slide because when it comes to stone edge, it always hits when it's a bonus but it misses when you really need it to hit. But RS is more reliable and it comes with a handy flinch rate.

th

Rouge (Gliscor) (F) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang

Gliscor comes in handy in many situations. With him I am often times able to ToxStall a few pokemon to death. As an added bonus he gives me something to just slide into thunders. Possibly thinking of adding Gastradon instead but I dont really want so many compounding Grass weaknesses...

th

Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Volt Switch
- Pain Split
- Hydro Pump

Just typical trick scarf....Really, he's only here for Volt Swap, Trick-Scarf, and a ground immunity.... Not sure what to replace him with.

th

Gangstah ! (Scrafty) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Shed Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Crunch

Slow ? Yes.. Deceptively bulky ? Yes Able to boost like hell with DD ? Yes. Able to smash past many walls with Insane Power ? Sure. Perfect Coverage ? I'll answer that with another question; Is there anything that resists D/F/I ? He needs all the speed he can get. Now while Moxie may give him a major boost, and intimidate a pseudo +1 def, but with SS he's able to handle Stall like a boss and that's what I wanted from Virizon, but this seems to work better from what I've tried. (First turn sleep/burn recovery FTW)
EDIT: May change him to a specially bulky spread

Anyway, that's my team
Dead Members:
th

Used to use the king with unnerve just or Pursuit but replaced him with Terakkion

th

Spore was great esp w Drain Punch and tox heal, but this was way too slow.. Replaced with Virizon

th

Which ironically got replaced. Not enough kick and not pulling the weight. 4x fly weak sucked against stall.
In Conclusion, that's my team.. Rate, Comment =, and Advise please. Thanks for reading Smogon

If this is going to be a rain team, I don't see much pokemon abusing it. Like half your pokemon don't have Thunder or Hurricane which had 100% accuracy in Rain and only 2 of your Pokemon have water type moves. My personal opinion is you should have more pokemon that can use Rain to it's full potential. I'll give you a few pokemon that can work extremly well under Rain.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers

[pimg]134[/pimg]

Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 Def, 248 HP, 8 Spd
Moves:
Rest
Scald
Roar / Wish
Toxic / Ice Beam

Yeah, I took this from smogon, but this is still a good set in Rain Dance Teams. Scald will burn the opponent if lucky and is Vaporeon's STAB move. Rest will heal off everything and wake up after the turn because of it's ability Hydration. Roar will phaze out Pokemon who are setting up on you or you could pick Wish to have Wish support on your team. Toxic can be used against other Bulky water types that don't have rest and Ice Beam will take care of common dragon-types like Salamence and Dragonite. You could run Vaporeon with any of the 6 moves told and it will work if the moves are put out right, And you don't have to worry about elctric-types since I have rarely seen them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tentacruel @ Leftovers

[pimg]73[/pimg]

Nature: Bold
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP, 240 Def, 16 Spd
Moves:
Toxic Spikes
Rapid Spin
Scald
Protect

Another one from smogon, but trust me when I say with Tentacruel in your team, there is a wide variety you could do with it. I will name what it can do:
-Set up Toxic Spikes and have your opponent's pokemon crippled by poison.
-Rapid Spin to knock out all entry hazards and anyting else it can get rid of, like Leech Seed.
-Attack with Rain and STAB-powered Scald and have a handy 30% chance of burn.
-Absorb the opponent's Toxic Spikes, since all poison-types sent out will take care of Toxic Spikes when sent out.
-Protect just to gain back health from Leftovers (or Black Sludge just incase someone uses Trick on you) and heal from Rain Dish, while also revealing your opponent's moves if they have a surprise.

Tentacruel can do a lot of things for your team, trust me on that one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers

[pimg]628[/pimg]

Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP, 88 Def, 168 Sp. Def
Moves:
Spikes
Leech Seed / Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball / Protect / Thunder Wave
Power Whip / Protect

Even though this doesn't look like something that can go on a Rain team, well it can. It has a nice resistance to Water and Electric type attacks (which you'll need for your Water types) and can set up even more entry hazards if the opponent has pokemon to act like setup fodder. Each move listed can help you in some ways.

-3 layers of Spikes will damage the pokemon very much and can possibly cut 1/3 of thier health down.
-Leech Seed can heal Ferrothorn a little more since his only recovery is from Leftovers.
-Stealth Rock = more entry hazards
-Gyro Ball will deal damage against things like Dragonite with a few Dragon Dances.
-Protect is a must-have on Ferrothorn to heal itself from Leftovers with safety and possibly Leech Seed (Maybe dodge painful attacks to Ferrothorn).
-Thunder Wave cripples with paralys, obviosly.
-Power Whip is Ferrothorn's powerful STAB move if ever recrommended.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's some pokemon I named there that could fit your team and replace some pokemon here. This is just my Personal opinion, Cause this is either a regular team with Politoed only to stop the opponent's weather or a Rain Team with pokemon without that much support from Rain. I really hoped that helped, because I typed a lot just to maybe fix this team. :)

He only needs about 3 or 4 pokemon which benefit from rain. He already has 3 which benefit from rain. Politoed, rotom and toxicroak. I would get rid of Virizion and put ferrothorn in his place. You don't need Virizion, since you already have 2 fighting types already which are Terrakion and toxicroak

4 actually. Virizon has his fire weakness removed. Anyway, thanks for the rates so far and I'll try all of them out one by one and possibly edit my RMT.

Hey , nice team
3 Fighting Pokemon = 3 Psychic Weaknesses. You also have 0 resist's to the type and a 4X weakness to back up your major weakness to the type. Another weakness is opposing rain teams and ESPECIALLY Tornadus. If Tornadus switches in Terrakion and Rotom can only revenge it, so somethings going down. More pokes that bother your team include Alakazam, Reuniclus, Starmie , Virizion and SubDisable Gengar. A good addition to your team could be Dragon Dance Scrafty over one of your other 3 Fighting types.
Scrafty @ Lum Berry
Nature: Jolly (+Spd -SpAtk)\
Trait: Moxie
EV's: 252Atk / 4Def / 252Spd
-Dragon Dance
-Hi Jump Kick
-Crunch
-Ice Punch
Fixes up all the weaknesses i stated previously except for Focus Sash Alakazam ( But nothings safe from him anyway). After one Dragon Dance you will outspeed and KO Tornadus, otherwise a major threat. All the other threats are manhandled by His STAB crunch and after 2 Dragon Dances he will outspeed EVERYTHING and KO them. Thanks to his good bulk getting more than One Dragon Dance off is quite often a reality and his only real enemy is Residual damage ( taken care of is you can keep your weather up) and status ( Lum Berry). Although an unusual choice I think Scrafty could fit your team quite well.
Good Luck!

Hello. At the moment, a very big threat to your team that is popular (and relevant) to this team is Latios. A well played with Surf and Psyshock will decimate this team with your only answer to hit with Choice Scarf Terrakion. Of course being Choice Scarfed, an opposing player will take advantage of this and try to set up on you, preparing for another sweep against your team.

To fix this you can take two steps. First, replace Pain Split for HP Ice on your Scarfed Rotom-W. Not only will this aid in fighting other Dragons, but also lure in Latios for heavy damage (Latios is often a switch in on Rotom-W).

Next, Bulk Up Toxicroak isn't contributing much to your team. While it can resist Terrakion's STABS and be used as a water-type switch in, Gliscor and Virizion should deal with those relatively easily. That's why in the place of Toxicrock, I am going to recommend Sub CM Jirachi. Jirachi forms the ever-so-famous Solum's Core with Rotom-W and Gliscor. He also makes a great switch in into Latios. The moves are up to you, but I would probably use Flash Canon so you can hit Ttar and Latios hard. Hope this helps.

Hey! nice team, i would replace virizion, but by the poll i think you are already doing that. Speaking of the poll, who voted for politoad >_____>. well your team is great the way it is , though i think you might have trouble with special pokemon, as you have no special wall, and stuff like rotom wash can take advantage of your rain and take out most of your members, so make sure the replacement for virizion covers water types which have electric/grass moves
