Seeing as how you have to have 6 Pokemon then choose 4 of those, I decided to put down all 6.

The idea is to have Infernape Fake Out threats that may try to set up on the first turn (Trick Room, etc.) while Metagross sets up the sun. I opted to not use Groudon to set up sun on the lead because I don't want to have to slow down Groudon to set it up over Kyogre or Rayquaza.

From there, I assess the threat level. I can choose to either Bullet Punch with Metagross while Infernape uses Heat Wave/Close Combat, or I can have Infernape Protect while Metagross uses Earthquake. Focus Sash allows Infernape to survive enemy water or ground attacks for at least 1 hit. At some point, I'll explode Metagross on a Protect.

I expect Infernape to fall first, which leads to the Exeggutor switch-in. With the given EVs in the sun, I'll be able to outspeed quite a bit of threats. If Metagross is about to go down, I'll Protect Exeggutor and explode with Metagross at this point.

Groudon is the secondary set up for sun. Exeggutor should attract a lot of fire attacks, so hopefully I can get off a Rock Polish under while the foe targets Exeggutor. At that point, Groudon is outspeeding pretty much everything and spamming Rock Slide or STAB EQ. Fire Punch is there for boosted power under sun.

Mewtwo can be replace Groudon instead if I want a Special Attacker instead. Cresselia is sort of a wild card that can stall while helping out the primary attacker.

Any suggestions? This is sort of my first VGC team I've ever made, so comments and suggestions would be much apprectiated.

Hiya!

Your team looks really great! The only thing I would change is changing Mewtwo's Blizzard to Ice beam or another attack.

Since your team is relying heavily on the Sunny weather condition, Blizzard will only have an accuracy of 70% on a sunny day. Unless you are planning to expect an Abomasnow or hailing-weather pokemon, I suggest Blizzard being opt-ed out for another move.

Other than that, your team looks GREAT! Unique, flawless, and very powerful. The way all teams should be. I hope to see you make it into the Nationals :)

Dont use Heat Rock on Metgross. I highly doubt Sun will run out for you, and it would benefit from Life Orb, especially if you intend on exploding.

Run Brave nature Groundon and 252 HP instead on 252 Spe. This will increase your chances of getting Sun up, and making it more bulky. Either Swords Dance or Protect over Rock Polish.

Apart from that pretty standard sun team. Good Luck

It is really important to state which four you will use. Other wise it is difficult to rate your team. If you state which four you will use I can rate it for you.
