With a good STAB combination, powerful moves, and neat utility options, Kabutops can make for a solid Choice Scarf user in PU. With it, Kabutops can reliably switch into and outspeed many of the top threats in PU such as Froslass and Oricorio-E. Utility-wise, Knock Off is good for crippling Pokemon such as Tangela and Gurdurr, and a fast Rapid Spin allows Kabutops to remove entry hazards in a pinch. Superpower can make for a good option over Knock Off though to handle Pokemon such as Alolan Sandslash and Omastar. This set pairs well with Pokemon such as Rotom-F and Lilligant, since Kabutops can clear entry hazards and handle Flying- and Fire-types for them, respectively, while Rotom-F can provide momentum and additional entry hazard removal, and both of them can handle Pokemon that Kabutops struggles against such as Tangela and Quagsire.

With a Choice Scarf, Kabutops can outspeed many of the top threats in PU such as Froslass and Oricorio-G(I'd change to E, much more relevant rn) and reliably revenge kill them.(I mean kabu can switch into both of these mons, albeit with risks, but not just rk) Utility-wise, Knock Off is good for crippling Pokemon such as Jellicent and Gurdurr, and a fast Rapid Spin allows Kabutops to remove hazards in a pinch. Superpower can make for a good option over Knock Off though to handle Pokemon such as Alolan Sandslash and Omastar. This set pairs well with Pokemon such as Aurorus (double rock?)and Lilligant, since Kabutops can handle hazards and Flying- and Fire-types, respectively, while both of them can handle Pokemon such as Tangela and Lanturn(id rather u say quagsire over lanturn) that Kabutops struggles against.

to add on to the above check, I'd swap out jellicent for smth like tangela in the knock off targets list, specs gets 2hkoed by stone edge whereas defensive colbur isnt rly crippled by it. if you do end up swapping aurorus out, I'd mention rotom-f since that can provide momentum, break through fat waters/grasses, and also acts as secondary hazard removal since scarf rapid spin isn't the most consistent thing. qc 2/1 ig
