SV OU Kingambit + Roaring Moon HO

Im not very good at gen 9 so i wanted tips on how to imrpove this team

kingambit.jpg
4 (Kingambit) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head

Starting the team with kingambit as he is super strong and fun to play and i wanted to build around it its job is to clean up with supreme overlord and sucker punch once he gets a swords dance off its over

roaring-moon.jpg

13 (Roaring Moon) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Knock Off
- Acrobatics
- Earthquake

Second pokemon i chose while making this team was roaring moon as it forms a pretty good core with Kingambit which completes the darkspam core and these two can take down foes just with constant pressure and hazards. Roaring moon can take off Heavy Duty Boots off of enemies which help with the constant switch in this core makes

gholdengo.jpg

(Gholdengo) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
- Trick
- Focus Blast

Next i wanted to start patching up some weaknesses and gholdengo was the perfect mon for this team as he is immune to fighting and resists fairy and he also blocks rapid spin which is very needed i chose the choice scarf set to deal with body slam corviknight as it just wrecks this team

(Enamorus) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire
- Calm Mind

i continued to patch up weaknesses while trying to benefit the team offensively and now i needed a ground immunity and something that can hit fighting and dark types well and i chose enamorus for its ability to outspeed and check Great Tusk im using the calm mind set since there is no need to use the choice scarf set

pokemon-ogerpon_cornerstone_mask.png

(Ogerpon-Cornerstone) (F) @ Cornerstone Mask
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip
- Low Kick

my fifth pokemon is ogerpon stone its a good all rounder and its ability sturdy helps a lot as it can stop set up sweepers since this team is very weak to them i tested running ogerpon water but ive had more success with this version because of the ability and strong rock type stab and one thing that this ogerpon can do is run low kick while the other oger either runs play rough or uturn which also helps a lot

Rock Pet (Glimmora) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Mortal Spin
- Power Gem
- Earth Power

And lastly is the suicide lead and i chose glimmora for this spot. ive tried using Iron Treads but it just doesnt bring the same value. there is no need to explain the set its the usual and thats it

Some Problems Ive faced with this team:

1.Bringing Roaring Moon on the field: i have a really hard time bringing him on the field since there isnt a uturn or volt switch user on the team

2.Jolly Roaring Moon: A roaring Moon can sweep this entire team if ogerpon has taken damage and since its jolly it outspeeds enamorus

3.Iron Valient: this team doesnt stand a chance against iron valiant the only chance i have is a full health gholdengo since it doesnt get one shotted

4.Great Tusk: while i do have gholdengo to spin block and enamorus to deal with it its just not enough gholdengo cant take a headlong rush and enam dies to ice spinner after rocks

Thats it i hope you like the team and some feedback would be amazing i got to 1500 with this team maybe i cant play much but id appreciate some tips on how to improve the team

Hi welcome to smogon!
I have a couple suggestions for this team. Glimmora HO is a proven team structure so I will try to stick to the mold you have chosen. There is a common sample team that shares some elements so I will compare to that but not copy exactly.

:Ogerpon-Cornerstone: So this guy is not exactly a super great choice for HO. While strong and somewhat fast, she requires hazard control to really make the most of her ability, and excels more in breaking the opposing team than in sweeping. She is vulnerable to Revenge kills from faster pokemon like Weavile and Darkrai, and doesn't have the best typing to be setting up if her sturdy is broken. I would recommend dropping him for something better, but we will come to that at the end.
:Roaring Moon::Kingambit: This is your dark spam core which carries the majority of your team. No changes here!
:Enamorus: The sample team has scarf here with Healing Wish since sweeping is hard with him. Ground type helps avoid Thunderclap but really the calm mind set is a lot worse than if you had the same set with Iron Valiant instead. While not a ground immunity, Valiant can easily revenge kill ground types with its booster speed set and Calm Mind Moonblast + 2 coverage moves of your choice is really all you need. You can even use tera ground on him as well although ghost is probably preferable.
:Gholdengo: With booster Valiant you don't need scarf, Balloon is a good choice overall. If you want to target Corviknight we can use a set with Thunderbolt.
SO now we have booster Valiant, Gholdengo on balloon, two darks and a Glimmora. We want something to stop opposing setup sweepers, as well as do some damage ourselves. How about dragonite?
:Dragonite: This guy can do a lot for you. Extreme Speed is the ultimate revenge killer, he's immune to spikes, unaffected by sticky web, and the best part is he can also stop opposing setup. Anything that won't die to Extreme Speed has to be careful of Encore, which can stop defensive boosters, walls with recover, and slower priority users like Kingambit and Raging Bolt.

So here is your team :Glimmora::Kingambit::Roaring Moon::Iron Valiant::Gholdengo::Dragonite: <- click for paste

yoo thanks for the feedback. kinda sad that i have to change cornerstone since im trying to make a team around it rn but whatever what you suggested was great. i knew about iron valiant and i tried it but i never thought about dragonite to be my ground immunity also i just realized that scarf dengo sucks and idk why i was using it but i use balloon all the time also the reason i prefer enam over valiant is cuz even if valiant is stronger enam deals more damage and is bulkier but tysm i will try this team out

after testing and using this team i have to say it is an improvement however this team kinda has a problem since cornerstone is changed this team kinda gets screwed by gliscor and landorous i have 0 supereffective moves on the team and while yes, as you said valiant deals with most ground types it still might not be enough as they can make it waste its booster energy but still amazing tean
