Nat Dex Kingambit

:sv/kingambit:

Kingambit @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Supreme Overlord
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 140 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head

Kingambit unleashes its Z-Move to send its foe to the nether realm! Though Kingambit does get access to Knock Off in National Dex, this set opts to use Kowtow Cleave for that added Z-Move damage. With Kowtow Cleave, a Swords Dance-boosted Black Hole Eclipse can terrorize Toxapex, annihilate Alomomola, and crush Corviknight that hope to slow down Kingambit's onslaught by taking a Knock Off and gaining back momentum through means such as pivoting out or dispelling Kingambit's stat boosts with Haze. Using Black Hole Eclipse to take out bulky Pokemon or even offensive threats attempting to switch in on a potential Knock Off, such as Garchomp, is an excellent way for Kingambit to open up a path for its allies, such as Mega Charizard Y and Zamazenta to break past the remaining opponents. Slowbro and Gholdengo help alleviate Kingambit's weakness to Fighting- and Fairy-types, respectively; the former allows it to enter safely through slow pivoting with Teleport, giving Kingambit ample opportunities to Swords Dance or use Black Hole Eclipse.

This replay is a good example of Kingambit using Black Hole Eclipse to break apart the opponent's defensive core: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9nationaldex-2487081939-n3b2nhisej7jmt5ha31ms14xyv89a05pw

"I'M THE BAD GUY!!!" Shouts the Chaos King, AKA Darkinium-Z Kingambit, right before unleashing a destructive Z-Move and sending its opponent to the nether realm. National Dex grants Kingambit access to Z-Moves in addition to its already dangerous kit. While Kingambit does get access to Knock Off in National Dex, this set opts to use Kowtow Cleave for that added Z-Move damage. With Kowtow Cleave, a Swords Dance boosted Black Hole Eclipse can terrorize Toxapexs, annihilate Alomomolas, and crush Corviknights (which Kingambit outspeeds uninvested Corviknights thanks to the 140 Speed EVs!) that hope to slow down Kingambit's onslaught by taking a Knock Off and gaining back momentum through what means? can say like "through either using Haze or pivoting out respectively". Using the Z-Move to take out a Pokemon be a bit more specific here, do you mean the aforementioned ones like pex & corv? or are there other mons that this sets eliminates for them that wouldn't faint to a normal attack is an excellent way for Kingambit to open up a path for its allies such as Mega Charizard Y or Zamazenta to break past the remaining opponents. Kingambit itself is still there to finish off any stragglers with Sucker Punch if needed.

id look to add a section about what this mon struggles vs still & how it can be patched up with teammates, probably replacing the underlined section above which seems unnecessary to me.

This replay is a good example of Kingambit using the Darkinium Z to KO an Alomomola on Turn 16 to piece apart the opponent's defensive core: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9nationaldex-2487081939-n3b2nhisej7jmt5ha31ms14xyv89a05pw

I had to make fairly extensive changes here for readability purposes. Let me know if you have any questions

"I'M THE BAD GUY!!!" Shouts the Chaos King, AKA Darkinium-Z this sentence is way too long and fluffy to be a good hook sentence. Please think of another one, thanks. I have put a suggested one below Kingambit (RC) right before unleashing a destructive unleashes its Z-Move and sending to send its opponent to the nether realm (RP)! National Dex grants Kingambit access to Z-Moves in addition to its already dangerous kit (RP) dex info While Kingambit does get access to Knock Off in National Dex, this set opts to use Kowtow Cleave for that added Z-Move damage. With Kowtow Cleave, a Swords Dance boosted Dance-boosted Black Hole Eclipse can terrorize Toxapexs Toxapex, annihilate Alomomolas Alomomola, and crush Corviknights (which Kingambit outspeeds uninvested Corviknights thanks to the 140 Speed EVs!) Corviknight that hope to slow down Kingambit's onslaught by taking a Knock Off and gaining back momentum through means such as pivoting out (RC) or dispelling Kingambit's stat boosts with Haze. Using the Z-Move Black Hole Eclipse to take out bulky Pokemon such as the ones listed before (RC) or even offensive threats attempting to switch in on a potential Knock Off, (AC) such as Garchomp, (AC) is an excellent way for Kingambit to open up a path for its allies, (AC) such as Mega Charizard Y and Zamazenta, (AC) to break past the remaining opponents. Allies such as Slowbro and Gholdengo help alleviate Kingambit's weakness to Fighting- and Fairy types Fairy-types, (AC) respectively (RC); (ASC) and the former allows it safer entries to enter safely through slow pivoting with Teleport, giving Kingambit ample opportunities to Swords Dance or use the Z-Move Black Hole Eclipse.
