Kingambit shines as one of the tier's most dangerous sweepers thanks to its solid STAB combination, superb defensive typing, high Attack stat, Swords Dance, and an incredible ability in Supreme Overlord. Its access to Sucker Punch allows it to compensate for its slow Speed and serve as a potent revenge killer, picking off a wide range of faster targets, such as Dragapult, Deoxys-S, and Iron Moth. It can also customize its EV spread, item choice, and Tera type selection, allowing it to tailor itself to what its team desires and overcome many would-be answers. For example, Tera Flying and Air Balloon improve Kingambit's matchup against Ground-types, Tera Fire and Lum Berry let it foil attempted burns from Will-O-Wisp, and Tera Ghost flips its Fighting weakness and turns the tables on Body Press Corviknight and Fighting-types. Thanks to these traits and flexibility, Kingambit is welcomed by nearly every offensive archetype in the tier. However, it is heavily burdened by a crippling weakness to Fighting, as well as common attacking types like Fire and Ground. This leaves it struggling against common threats like Zamazenta and Great Tusk without Terastalizing, and plenty of Pokemon like Gholdengo, Deoxys-S, and Iron Crown often slap on Fighting-type coverage to deal with it. Additionally, these Pokemon, as well as Corviknight and Dondozo, often utilize Tera Fighting specifically to turn the tables on Kingambit. Tera Fairy is also commonplace in the tier, as Pokemon like Gholdengo, Raging Bolt, and Iron Moth sometimes utilize it in part to avoid being revenge killed by Kingambit's Dark-type attacks. Additionally, its slow Speed forces Kingambit to rely on Sucker Punch to deal with faster-paced teams, as well as play carefully around Encore from foes such as Ogerpon-W, Dragonite, and Iron Valiant. Relying on Sucker Punch also makes Kingambit vulnerable to well-timed status moves such as Will-O-Wisp, Substitute, and recovery moves from Pokemon like Cinderace, Kyurem, and Corviknight. The ubiquity of priority moves, such as Raging Bolt's Thunderclap and Dragonite's Extreme Speed, is another way that Kingambit's Sucker Punch can be outplayed. On top of this, Kingambit lacks reliable recovery, and it struggles to fit all the moves it wants in one set to threaten targets like Great Tusk, opposing Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott.

Other Options
=============

Kingambit has a few other Tera types that it can make use of. Tera Fighting powers up Low Kick and allows Kingambit to maintain its Dark resistance while ditching its Fighting and Ground weaknesses. A Black Belt can be used with this Tera type, allowing Kingambit to further threaten Great Tusk, Zamazenta, and Dondozo. Tera Grass flips the matchup against Ogerpon-W and lets Kingambit set up on Ground-types like Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, and Iron Treads. Tera Poison grants Kingambit a Fighting resistance while keeping its immunity to Toxic and has the benefit of absorbing Toxic Spikes for teams that are otherwise at a disadvantage against them. Tera Blast Flying is an option on Tera Flying variants that lets it smash through Great Tusk, Zamazenta, and Tera Fighting Dondozo, but it misses out on super effective coverage against Hisuian Samurott and Tera Dark Pecharunt. Clear Amulet is another item option to ignore Landorus-T's Intimidate, the Speed drop from Sticky Web, and disrupt Parting Shot from Pecharunt to stop it from switching out. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple incoming switch-ins, such as Zamazenta and Moltres, and it synergizes well with Iron Head's chance to flinch. An Assault Vest set with Metal Burst is also an option to surprise targets like Raging Bolt with huge damage. However, running Thunder Wave and Metal Burst forces Kingambit to give up Swords Dance, significantly reducing its effectiveness as a late-game cleaner, and Metal Burst requires heavy prediction to pull off.

Not married to this if you do not want to do it Thanks to these traits and flexibility, Kingambit is welcomed by nearly every offensive archetype in the tier. However, it is heavily burdened by a crippling weakness to Fighting, as well as common attacking types like Fire and Ground. This leaves it struggling against common threats like Zamazenta and Great Tusk without Terastalizing, and plenty of Pokemon like Gholdengo, Deoxys-S, Corviknight, and Dondozo I would write these 2 in a different sentence, as they are moreso defensive checks. In particular Dondozo can still beat Kingambit without the Fighting coverage often slap on Fighting-type coverage and Tera type to deal with it. Tera Fairy is also commonplace in the tier, as Pokemon like Gholdengo, Dragapult, and Moltres sometimes utilize it to avoid being revenge killed by Kingambit's Dark-type attacks. Additionally, its slow Speed forces it to rely on Sucker Punch for mind games, deal with faster-paced teams, and play carefully to avoid letting foes like Ogerpon-W, Primarina, Dragonite, Moltres, and Cinderace take advantage of it by using Encore, recovery, and Will-O-Wisp, respectively. Try working in Substitute from the likes of Iron Moth or Kyurem. Be careful with the use of "respectively", since you list 5 Pokemon but 3 moves The ubiquity of priority moves is another way that Kingambit can be outplayed. Please mention an example or two, and make sure its clear you are talking about outplaying Sucker Punch On top of this, Kingambit lacks reliable recovery, and it struggles to fit all the moves it wants in one set to threaten targets like Great Tusk, opposing Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott.

A Black Belt mention could be okay somewhere around here, or alongside Tera Fighting if you want to rework the text However, the use of these Tera types is very specific and not only wastes a Tera slot but forces it to give up a more crucial Tera type like Ghost, Fire, and Fairy. I do not think you need to focus this much on the negatives, particularly cause this is true for a wide variety of Pokemon, not exactly Kingambit Protective Pads can be used as an item option to avoid contact punishment from the likes of Zapdos, Garchomp, and Rocky Helmet Corviknight, but this forces Kingambit to forgo more crucial items like Leftovers, Lum Berry, Black Glasses, and Air Balloon. A set with Protect, Substitute, Spite, and Thief with Pressure as its ability can be used on stall archetypes to surprise would-be answers, like Great Tusk, non-Roar Zamazenta, by draining PP from their super effective attacks. However, this set requires extensive support to pull off and sacrifices Kingambit's offensive capabilities. A bulky Stealth Rock set is also an option on these team archetypes, which serves as a solid answer to Hatterene and allows Blissey more freedom to run a different move like Flamethrower or Shadow Ball. I would remove all of these. Protective Pads I have never seen, and the other sets I have only seen as jokes. The information is good however, so a good compromise could be to keep them and wait for the second checker to give their input on them.

Like most of the changes, especially the rewording of the first sentence in each paragraph. A couple points in the original QC were not addressed, I've reiterated them alongside with some minor grammar changes to improve flow.

Several things brought up in the OO I have never seen outside of low ladder, suggested some things at the end that have seen either tour usage and/or higher ladder usage.

(As Setsu said, this is other options, we don't need to focus as much on the downsides.) A set with Protect, Substitute, Spite, and Thief with Pressure as its ability can be used on stall archetypes to surprise would-be answers, like Great Tusk, non-Roar Zamazenta, by draining PP from their super effective attacks. However, this set requires extensive support to pull off and sacrifices Kingambit's offensive capabilities. (I don't think this set is real enough to include. Doesn't appear to be used in the most recent WCOP, SCL, or SPL. Haven't seen it above ~1500 elo on ladder.) A bulky Stealth Rock set is also an option on these team archetypes, which serves as a solid answer to Hatterene and allows Blissey more freedom to run a different move like Flamethrower or Shadow Ball. (Ditto for this one, haven't seen it get used either).
(I might add tera Poison, this was used twice in SPL and once in SCL. Resists fighting, stays immune to poison, and absorbs tspikes on teams that are weak to them.)
(I might add Thunder Wave, this can cripple switchins such as Zamazenta and Moltres, also has some synergy with Iron Head flinch.)
(I might add Clear Amulet, prevents Pecharunt parting shot and also ignores Landorus-Therian's Intimidate.)
(I might add Tera Blast Flying, this has been used to decent success in higher ladder.)
(I might add Heavy-Duty Boots and Assault Vest, these show up in usage stats. Assault Vest can use Metal Burst as a way to surprise opponents.)
