Klaus Stallar

This team is not by me done, Vertigo has built it in the early D/P-Team, and still in Platin there are not much horrible weaks (I think). So take a look, and rate this

Closer View:

Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock

>> Sets nearly everytime Stealth Rocks, and gives the Sandstorm. It can counter sded scizor with roar as well most of the time. Roar is a better choice then ice fang imo.
It takes good Electric Moves and can compense tghe Magnezone Problem a bit.
Against Fly pokes, it cannot do much, but there are Stealth rocks nice to do more dmg.
TTar also can't do much against hippo.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind

>> Sets Spikes, counters a lot and can phaze. Doesn't like Magnezone, but I scout the team with Whirlwind first, if der comes a Maggy.
Here I don't want to put shed shell, because Leftovers-Recovery is really needed to counter pokes with brave bird.
It can fang a lot of EQs and other things, it also has Toxicressist. Para shouldn't happen.

242.png

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/252 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Softboiled
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss
- Charm

>> Counters a lot, can tox pokes like zapdos, who doesn't get toxed by tspikes. charm is awesome against gyaras, who think too boost after they have switched in. With prediction this can really rock.
A Gyara with 1 DD, but 1 Charm doesn't 2hko with waterfall afaik. The only thing what bring gyara a win would be a Crit / 2 Flinches, or both in one like it happens sometimes..

205.png

Forretress (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 Def
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Rest
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes

>> Next poke that fails too maggy. Maybe I should use shed shell and boom>rest, because I doesnt need rest most of the time. Here you can gimme tipps, what I should do. Lefties-Recovery isn't soo needed here I think. The team really needs the Spin and tspikes support, because otherwise it could get a bad end.g

493.png

Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/136 Def/120 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Charge Beam

>> counters ape and other crap. With charge beam + slptalk it also can boost the satk.
Really important to fix some weaks, like dragons and nplot togekiss. It also can take Statusproblems.
Pursuit could be a bit dumb against this and so against my team, but I think this problem is not so big.

447.png

Spiritomb (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/192 Def/64 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Dark Pulse
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

>> Takes Fight and psychic attacks and other random who is bad against the rest of the team. Calm Mind too boost satk and sdef. Spinblock as well.

Threat List:

1. Scizor: Skarm - Forry - Hippo in this order, hippo to roar against an sded one.

2. Heatran: Cresselia + Blissey most work to stall the fblast pp, boom sucks when i don't predict

3. Salamence: phy -> forry / skarm or with fire fang i must get cresse switched in, too beat with ice beam. Spez is easy to wall with bliss / cresse

4. Tyranitar: Hippo pwns that

5. Gyarados: skarm has no problems, by taunt i use cresse with charge beam or spiritomb to finish it after damage of all of the spikes (incl toxic). If the foe switch it in against blissey, charm is also nice

6. Zapdos: Blissey walls that, and it takes dmg of srocks, toxic from bliss would do the rest. Cresse is an alternative

7. Blissey: with toxic forry is good, by twave hippo is enough. Skarm with brave bird deals a lot of dmg, too.

8. Infernape: Cresse takes that easily

9. Lucario: spiritomb is a good counter

10. Gengar: Blissey to take sball, cresse against subpunch.

11. Metagross: Skarm or with tpunch forry

12. Swampert: skarm stalls this and toxic does the rest. against curse, whirlwind is good

13. Bronzong: cresse/tomb should deal enough dmg with the sr/spikes together. Stoss deals good Dmg, too, if it has rest>boom

14. Celebi: This could suck maybe, but skarm with brave bird is nice

15. Jirachi: hippo or spiritomb are good ones

16. Azelf: I see only the lead with srocks / boom there is spiritomb very good against

17. Starmie: bliss and cresse are stalling this out.

18. Vaporeon: is not a big problem, because it can take no watermove, cresse with charge beam is a good one :)

19. Machamp: spiritomb is most enough. skarm with brave bird is also good.

20. Suicune: cresse should be enough most times, against cm spiritomb is also fine

21. Kingdra: this could make problems, spiritomb must hit the hps, hoping that tspikes are already out.

22. Gliscor: cresse kills that easy

23. Breloom: cresse is here also good and can take sleep and hit with icebeam too.

24. Togekiss: Cresse does that good.

25. Skarmory: Should be no problem

26. Weavile: Forry is enough for that most times. When not Skarm's brave bird kills almost.

27. Rotom-h: Trick could be dumb, Spiritomb should do a good job against this.

28. Magnezone: That could bring me a lot of Problems, maybe I should gibe almost forry shed shell

29. Electivire - Hippo takes this

30. Flygon - This could be dumb, I can switch Cresse in scarf-outrage and kill with IB, otherwise Spiritomb is good

Only really weaks are Magnezone + Physiscal Sweeper (with outrage as exemple) or LO-Flygon

RMT :D

P.S.: Excuse me for my bad english, i'm from germany.

Looking at your move sets and team I spot a huge NastyApe weakness. It comes in on either Foretress or Cresselia and it only needs one Nasty Plot to scare off your entire team and provide no safe switch in.

A simple way to solve this while having to lay down your Toxic Spikes and Rapid Spin entry hazards is having Tentacruel in place of Foretress. This way it comes in on standard NastyApe with Grass Knot which fails to OHKO Tentacruel and it provides you to counter back with Surf. A bulky water handles some physical threats nicely, and Tentacruel is perfect with Toxic Spikes and Rapid Spin

Your Blissey set is illegal. Only Happiny can learn Charm, whereas Seismic Toss is a 3rd Gen move tutor.

So far i feel you have too many Pokemon with Rest. Also, if Magnezone traps all your Steels, the plan of your team is destroyed. So far the choice of Pokemon isn't too bad, i just think, Forretress could be swapped for Tentacruel, or even a defensive Roserade.

If you are going to use so many pokemon with Rest on your team, then you should really put Aromatherapy on Blissey to allow you to wake them up instantly. Like Lee said, the set you are currently running is illegal. Try using a set with Softboiled / Toxic / Flamethrower / Aromatherapy instead - Flamethrower hits all the steel types that are immune to your Toxic, apart from Heatran, super effectively. In particular this is great for warding off Scizor that think they can come in for free on Bliss.

Tentacruel has been suggested already, and it would be a good choice for this team here. Your Cresselia set cannot 'counter' Infernape as it is lacking Psychic and you can only hit it with a weak Charge Beam, so some extra insurance against it would be invaluable. Surf / Ice Beam / Toxic Spikes / Rapid Spin, with 252 HP / 220 SpD / 36 Spe, will allow Tentacruel to easily take on Infernape, and the speed puts it ahead of Breloom and Tyranitar so you can get a super effectiver hit in before they attack if needed. Alternatively, you can drop Ice Beam for Rest if you want to have recovery on it, and since you are not Wish passing with anything this might something that would increase its survivability a lot. Bliss can wake it up with Aroma quite easily. If you decide to stick with Skarmory and Forretress on the same team, I suggest you stick a Shed Shell on at least one of them, so that a team with Magnezone cannot disassemble you quite so easily. I would recommend Skarmory, as it is arguably the more useful out of the two for your team.

If you want to run CroTomb then go with a Bold nature with 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD, as you will be boosting your SpD and want your physical Def to be as high as you can.

:toast::toast::toast::toast:
Basically you have a massive lucario weakness who can close to ohko everything in your team with crunch and sr taken into account except spiritomb. Who is an excellent counter normally yet the current set you are running gets completely nullifyed by lucarios 4x resistance to dark. Simply add hp fighting over calm mind this will also punish ttar switch ins.
Good Luck

I really don't see what differentiates this from any other stall team. SkarmBlissCress is what a lot of recent stall teams use. Lucario is a threat too...and don't think I am talking about the physical version. SpecsLuke can destroy your team if it is weak enough. Shadow Ball for Cress, Aura Sphere for SkarmBliss and Forretress and Hippowdon...and Spiritomb can't do anything back except Pressure stall.

With all stall teams, Nasty Plot MixApe needs to be dealt with. I don't see a true counter to it in your team, and Spiritomb can't do anything back. Instead of Rest/Talk, think about using a Pain Split Tomb or giving it HP Fighting to deal damage to Infernape and Lucario. Extremely Ttar weak, as Aqua Tail 2HKO's Hippo and Stone Edge 2HKO's Forretress and Skarm, Crunch KO's Cress and Pursuit deals heavy damage as well...Plus Blissey can't take shit defensively.

Through personal experiance, Magnezone is becoming more popular because people are starting to think it is uncommon. The fact is that it causes extreme trouble to your team as it can beat Hippo, Forretres, Skarm, and can stall Cress. Zapdos also is a problem...

There is no difference from this team to any other stall team and there is no originality whatsoever...
