[SET COMMENTS]
Krilowatt's strength lies in forcing damage onto foes with its Life Orb-boosted STAB pivot moves. Its good natural bulk and immunity to entry hazard damage let it tank at least one strong hit a game while firing back with its attack of choice. The combination of Volt Switch and Flip Turn lets Krilowatt pivot on essentially every Pokemon in the tier, dealing notable damage to defensive Pokemon like Landorus-T and Toxapex in the process. Flip Turn can be dropped for Surf if hitting Heatran and Equilibra harder is desired; however, due to Krilowatt's inability to OHKO either, it is usually better to just use Flip Turn. Ice Beam hits Ground- and Grass-types like Garchomp and Jumbao super effectively. Ice Beam also importantly targets Zapdos, which can switch into Krilowatt's STAB options.

Krilowatt is incredibly dependent on its Life Orb in order to function properly, so pairing it with a Knock Off absorber like Clefable or Corviknight is imperative. Clefable can support Krilowatt by providing Stealth Rock, further chipping the Pokemon that switch into its pivoting moves, while Corviknight can slowly pivot Krilowatt onto the field, preserving its HP. Tapu Koko is an excellent offensive partner that appreciates Krilowatt consistently chipping and KOing Ground-types with Flip Turn and Ice Beam. Tapu Koko also provides Krilowatt with Electric Terrain, notably powering up its Thunderbolt. Other offensive pivots like Dragapult, Victini, and Galarian Zapdos form strong VoltTurn cores with Krilowatt while all threatening one of Krilowatt's most consistent switch-ins: Ferrothorn. Astrolotl is another Pokemon that Krilowatt struggles to break through; accordingly, Pokemon like Air Balloon Heatran and Pajantom are excellent teammates to switch into Astrolotl and force it out.

Checks and Counters
========
**Ferrothorn**: Ferrothorn is Krilowatt's most notable counter because it resists both of its STAB types, threatens it with Knock Off and Power Whip, and can set Spikes on it.

**Knock Off**: Krilowatt relies immensely on its Life Orb to deal meaningful damage; accordingly, Knock Off users like Clefable, Tornadus-T, and Ferrothorn force it out. Assault Vest Tornadus deserves special mention as a check, as it can easily switch into Surf or Ice Beam and keep itself healthy with Regenerator.

**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Galarian Slowking and Astrolotl can easily switch into any of Krilowatt's attacks and initiate Future Sight or deal notable damage with Stomping Tantrum. Blissey can shrug off any of Krilowatt's attacks and either set up Stealth Rock on it or slow pivot with Teleport.

**Offensive Grass-types**: Rillaboom and Choice Scarf Jumbao force Krilowatt out with their super effective Grass-type moves. While they both can effectively switch into Thunderbolt and Surf, neither appreciates taking more than one Ice Beam. Kartana also forces Krilowatt out, but it cannot switch into Krilowatt's special attacks safely.

**Gastrodon**: Though niche, Gastrodon hard counters Krilowatt, as it is immune to both of Krilowatt's STAB types due to its Ground typing and Storm Drain.

Ice Beam also importantly hits Zapdos super effectively, which can otherwise switch into Krilowatt's STAB options.

**Knock Off**: Krilowatt relies immensely on its Life Orb to deal meaningful damage; accordingly, Knock Off users like Clefable, Tornadus-T, and Ferrothorn force it out. mention something here abt how av torn is especially good bc it doesn't mind switching into moves like ice beam/surf if the field's clear of rocks and u can regen off damage. could also mention that clef's access to reliable recovery also makes it a much more durable answer Ferrothorn deserves special mention as a counter because it resists both of Krilowatt's STAB types and can use it set up Spikes.

**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Galarian Slowking and Astrolotl, and Blissey can easily switch into any of Krilowatt's attacks and use it to set up Future Sight or Stealth Rock score damage with Stomping Tantrum, respectively. Blissey can also shrug off any of Krilowatt's moves and grab momentum with Teleport.

**Offensive Grass-types**: Rillaboom and Choice Scarf Jumbao force Krilowatt out with their super effective Grass-type moves. While they both can effectively switch into Thunderbolt and Surf, neither appreciates taking more than one Ice Beam. Kartana can easily force Krilowatt out as well, but cannot safely switch in due to its poor bulk.

**Gastrodon**: Though niche, Gastrodon hard counters Krilowatt, as it is immune to both of Krilowatt's STAB types due to its Ground-typing and access to Storm Drain.

**Ferrothorn**: what you said below but I think Ferrothorn deserves its own mention as it cares very little about Krilowatt and it's common and good enough to warrant its own section.

**Knock Off**: Krilowatt relies immensely on its Life Orb to deal meaningful damage; accordingly, Knock Off users like Clefable, Tornadus-T, and Ferrothorn force it out. Ferrothorn deserves special mention as a counter because it resists both of Krilowatt's STAB types and can use it set up (smh my head GPer) Spikes, while Assault Vest Tornadus can easily switch into Surf or Ice Beam and keep itself healthy with Regenerator.
