Scottie has dropped. PolloAriosto qualifies for playoffs to avoid a potentially time-consuming round robin (Merritt said so). The remaining four players are competing for the last slot in playoffs.
Players will have 24 hours after the announcement of pairings to rank their tier preferences from most preferred to least preferred. Then, we will pick the higher seed's two highest tiers, followed by the lower seed's two highest unpicked tiers, followed by the higher seed's higher pick amongst the remaining two tiers. Then, they will compete in a best-of-five series where the higher seed selects the first generation played, then the loser of each game selects from the remaining unplayed generations.
