On a more serious note I wanted to mention RBY LC as something to be considered, I had a lot of fun playing the meta in the recent tournament and it would be cool to get some RBYers involved with the community. Also down for UU or bo3 as the last slot (it seems like there's consensus on ADV/DLC/SV4 for the other three slots).

speaking as an rby player, i don't think rby would be able to fill out enough slots for it to be a viable pick this year. it'd be cool to have representation but i don't think we're at the point where we'd get high quality games every week. maybe in the future, though!

what about creating a lcbc exclusive format and using it for 1 or 2 of the slots? think about it it'll be hype as fuck. we could have like 50 threads to decide what rulesets and mons and stuff. and don't allow anyone to play the tier outside of lcbc. if you do you'll end up in the same jail cell as drifting and daunt vs
I suport this, make the tour a bit more unique and it will bring more motivation to it. It is the same line of thinking for the 11 slots with 2 points bo3 slot, bringing something that will make people excited to play

As Naere @'d me, I offered people to play Bo3 at LPL for many personal reasons. I find LPL a more fun team tournament where I focus on developing the meta rather than winning. I also think bo3 is objectively more competitive over bo1 in general, but it's mostly that I can showcase and push the meta and bo3 gives me that. ADV LC Bo3 at best gives me more reason to experiment with other archetypes and gives me some player adaptions mid-set.
But I don't think and believe that ADV deserves to play in Bo3 as the default. The meta isn't pushed enough to justify it. It's also not that different from any other tiers and I find Bo1 both enjoyable and competitive enough rn. I also think it's more welcoming for tour players/and established LC players to build a team each week than being forced to build 3 teams if they want to try the tier. Bo3 is cool if people want to gentleman it vs me, but overall bo1 should be the default till ADV LC is established enough to have the option to play Bo3 in team tours IMO
Also advocating ADV to be slotted in this team tournament for reasons such as the meta is still fresh since the Porygon ban with an active playerbase, but I also vouch for LC Doubles to a degree. Seeing Voltix playing has made me interested in watching it as a spectator tbh.
P.S. If any LC players wanna pick up the tier, I'm omw making some posts that can used as a "guide" on how things function, synergize, flow, etc.

I would like to see rby and gsc lc added to this tour. The reason is this tour should be the most experimental tour between lcwc and lcpl.
Dlc and uu have solid playerbase but they already have their shine in lpl and other smogon tours.
Rby and gsc are more experimental and prob would keep this tour funnier imo.

I know I've been dead for the past 6 months or so, so my voice might not have much weight, but obviously I would love to see LC UU included in this tour. The tier hasn't had forum team tour inclusion since ORAS and has still been able to maintain itself throughout gens 7, 8, and 9 with a dedicated and not untalented player pool despite the overall lack of support. LC UU has basically never been bad from a meta standpoint, and the volatility of the ever changing roster of mons forces near constant variety, innovation and experimentation in builds that you don't really get to see in standard LC formats imo

I will also add that LCUU is in the process of fast-tracking its resource development to meet the basic needs of interested players, and when the usage shift hits next month we'll quickly have the resources updated and will have regular tours hosted to maintain interest. If there's any opportunity of us to finally have forum tour rep again, this is it.
i havent been relevant for a while (and tbh was never) but id also like to advocate for lcuu. i think it alleviates a lot of issues i have with too many sv slots leading to repetitiveness as lcuu is extremely fun to watch and look at in the builder from what ive been able to see of it in this most recent lpl
