Hello gamers I'm probably not going to be signing up for LCCL this year, but I'd like to share some thoughts on the doubles pool.
also, I made a shit load of resources in the DLC thread here so go wild. I haven't updated this in a long while so some of the spreads are not optimal, but most are still generally solid.

Welcome to the first (and probably last) edition of DC's Extremely Biased and Offensive LCCL Pre-Season Power Rankings (cuz we are forsure nuking this tour after this year and freeing LCBC back). This is not a real Power Rankings for disclaimer purposes and should only be taken for a for-fun basis. As usual, if you are offended, feel free to DM me! We are starting from the bottom and working to the top!
#6 - The Murkrow Mafia
After extensive research done on Discord, here is the community input:
Steals (IMO): Kaboom (15k), rarre (8k)
Writeups: I actually rate highly a decent chunk of the players that PWrath and Incognition drafted, but when you draft 20 players in a 12 slot tour, you probably did draft too many players. For a team that had more starting money to work with to really suit up on the strong slots, you can probably consider this as a managing error. From first glance, the team's main issue is that they drafted way too many SV players and not enough focus on Old Gens. The SV core of Eniigma / not enjoying LC / rarre is a very good SV core, but the wheels kinda fall apart from there. You are relying on gali / Kaboom / 15k DPP evakiyama / ADV PWrath to anchor down the other slots, which doesn't sound amazing compared to the other Old Gens cores in this tour, and the subs outside of qtfox doesn't really help with that situation. Aye tho, they can always prove the community wrong (they are somehow favored in W1 matchups from every predictor???

#5 - Panchampions
Steals: Wail (17k), Larry (5.5K)
Writeups: There is none becuz this is my team. Everyone thinks we are terribad, so we are gonna get ranked 5th.
#4 - Slurpy Slugmas
Steals: Kingler (8.5k), piyu (4.5k), etern (3.5k)
Writeups: Placing this team 4th is gonna be such a hot take, but here it is. Quinn / Baddy / naere looked like they were assembling the avengers with their first few selections, but then they went AFK for like 50% of the remaining auction. This is not a projection PR, so I am ranking this team as it is now, but I will note greatly that this team becomes a lot better when Lily and Kingler are actually going to get to play (like it would be closer to 3rd than 5th).
If anyone saw this, I think the majority consensus would be that they won this draft. You get really strong anchors that cover basically everything outside of BW / ADV / DLC, and they are flexible enough to tackle teams that try to double you up in certain tiers. Essentially against this team, you should never choose to double up on SS / ORAS / DPP unless you got some masterclass 200 IQ ideas.

The rest of the draft will basically make or break this team down the stretch. The team opted to draft LCWC SV slots and a bunch of tour players. Outside of piyu (who is the goat), I have not seen many of the tour players play LC recently, especially not in some of the tiers they are placed in. Kingler also can't play until like W4/W5 apparently, so one of the avengers is down. If the team can survive until that point, the Slugmas are very dangerous.
#3 - Wailing Wailmers
Steals: CMDoge (3k)
Writeups: A high floor, moderate ceiling draft from Hacker / olivia / trace. I don't know what else to say; this draft was very safe, and sometimes a safe draft is better than a boom or bust draft. The team is obviously looking to Hacker / Acehunter / Heysup / Drifting to anchor the lineup, but you have a solid core of players with players like CMDoge (how did he go for 3k???) / trace / seraphz that can shuffle around the middle Old Gen tiers. I think Alder / TyCarter / Gasai will also do just fine. You do worry for this team's SV tho, especially with Hacker not in SV; majority consensus is that Cow and Stories are somewhere in the bottom half of the pool?. If you can go even between the two SV players, this team will probably make POs. Flou in SM.
#2 - Pink Pony Club
Steals: feen (3k)
Writeups: Having been a part of Coconut's teams, I can say that she knows how to draft (and win); however, this does not feel like a draft that she would go with ngl. I think this is partially why I think I rank them ranked below the Fennekins. Despite this premise, I have a lot of good things to say about the team; Coco teams have been historically good in the regular season the past few years, and I think the configuration of this team follows that trend. Colin / Laro / Fille / Shing are very good anchor slots and self-sufficient, and you have above average slots in mayo / hybone / Greedy / feen / Juan (assuming he doesn't cancer) to complement them. I don't know what opposing teams are gonna want to double up into this team becuz it seems like they have two of basically every slot, but that is for the managers to figure out. reggg is a bum tho for not signing up

Writeups: This image should sum up the drafting strategy of Envy / kythr / Howkings.
The team got a lot of discounts on good players due to the Brazil buff, which they used to fill up holes on the roster after dropping 40k on their manager pair. Vibes on the team are probably immaculate, so they get a + in that department. You got arguably the top SV player, top 1-2 SS player, top BW player, and top DLC player anchoring your major slots, and HSOWA / BA / Skyiew / UU bleahey for the other strong slots. The other slots are a bit shakier, especially the 10k ADV slot, but when you got this many strong slots, you are gonna be ranked very highly.
I hope everyone enjoys these PRs! This is probably gonna be my last year of writing PRs for LC team tours, so hopefully I still put out the fun stuff before I call it quits. Go Panchampions!!!!

Steals (IMO): Kaboom (15k), rarre (8k)
Writeups: I actually rate highly a decent chunk of the players that PWrath and Incognition drafted, but when you draft 20 players in a 12 slot tour, you probably did draft too many players. For a team that had more starting money to work with to really suit up on the strong slots, you can probably consider this as a managing error. From first glance, the team's main issue is that they drafted way too many SV players and not enough focus on Old Gens. The SV core of Eniigma / not enjoying LC / rarre is a very good SV core, but the wheels kinda fall apart from there. You are relying on gali / Kaboom / 15k DPP evakiyama / ADV PWrath to anchor down the other slots, which doesn't sound amazing compared to the other Old Gens cores in this tour, and the subs outside of qtfox doesn't really help with that situation. Aye tho, they can always prove the community wrong (they are somehow favored in W1 matchups from every predictor???

Writeups: Placing this team 4th is gonna be such a hot take, but here it is. Quinn / Baddy / naere looked like they were assembling the avengers with their first few selections, but then they went AFK for like 50% of the remaining auction. This is not a projection PR, so I am ranking this team as it is now, but I will note greatly that this team becomes a lot better when Lily and Kingler are actually going to get to play (like it would be closer to 3rd than 5th).

If anyone saw this, I think the majority consensus would be that they won this draft. You get really strong anchors that cover basically everything outside of BW / ADV / DLC, and they are flexible enough to tackle teams that try to double you up in certain tiers. Essentially against this team, you should never choose to double up on SS / ORAS / DPP unless you got some masterclass 200 IQ ideas.

The rest of the draft will basically make or break this team down the stretch. The team opted to draft LCWC SV slots and a bunch of tour players. Outside of piyu (who is the goat), I have not seen many of the tour players play LC recently, especially not in some of the tiers they are placed in. Kingler also can't play until like W4/W5 apparently, so one of the avengers is down. If the team can survive until that point, the Slugmas are very dangerous.

Writeups: A high floor, moderate ceiling draft from Hacker / olivia / trace. I don't know what else to say; this draft was very safe, and sometimes a safe draft is better than a boom or bust draft. The team is obviously looking to Hacker / Acehunter / Heysup / Drifting to anchor the lineup, but you have a solid core of players with players like CMDoge (how did he go for 3k???) / trace / seraphz that can shuffle around the middle Old Gen tiers. I think Alder / TyCarter / Gasai will also do just fine. You do worry for this team's SV tho, especially with Hacker not in SV; majority consensus is that Cow and Stories are somewhere in the bottom half of the pool?. If you can go even between the two SV players, this team will probably make POs. Flou in SM.

Writeups: Having been a part of Coconut's teams, I can say that she knows how to draft (and win); however, this does not feel like a draft that she would go with ngl. I think this is partially why I think I rank them ranked below the Fennekins. Despite this premise, I have a lot of good things to say about the team; Coco teams have been historically good in the regular season the past few years, and I think the configuration of this team follows that trend. Colin / Laro / Fille / Shing are very good anchor slots and self-sufficient, and you have above average slots in mayo / hybone / Greedy / feen / Juan (assuming he doesn't cancer) to complement them. I don't know what opposing teams are gonna want to double up into this team becuz it seems like they have two of basically every slot, but that is for the managers to figure out. reggg is a bum tho for not signing up

Writeups: This image should sum up the drafting strategy of Envy / kythr / Howkings.
The team got a lot of discounts on good players due to the Brazil buff, which they used to fill up holes on the roster after dropping 40k on their manager pair. Vibes on the team are probably immaculate, so they get a + in that department. You got arguably the top SV player, top 1-2 SS player, top BW player, and top DLC player anchoring your major slots, and HSOWA / BA / Skyiew / UU bleahey for the other strong slots. The other slots are a bit shakier, especially the 10k ADV slot, but when you got this many strong slots, you are gonna be ranked very highly.
I hope everyone enjoys these PRs! This is probably gonna be my last year of writing PRs for LC team tours, so hopefully I still put out the fun stuff before I call it quits. Go Panchampions!!!!
For anyone interested, I thought I would do some self-reflection following this tour.
When I was asked to co-manage, I thought this would be a good opportunity with my passion for LC and our recent success in LCWC.
I was fortunate to be considered and selected as one of the managers this LCCL, and I would like to thank the hosts for putting their faith in me. However, for several reasons, this is probably a tour I would like to forget.
There were many mistakes made, including misunderstandings, unnecessary drama, players being unhappy, and some disorganisation. I thought that following LCWC, this would be a perfect opportunity to develop, but for whatever reason, this definitely seemed like a step too forwards.
Although we gained momentum after week one, we ultimately didn't win a single week, and at the end of the day, that lies with me as a manager.
I would like to apologise to everyone in my team - I have personally reached out to most people individually to express how sincere I am. Having said that, this is not a post just about self-pity. I wanted to do some shoutouts for players to consider in future LC team tours:
Tempo di anguria - This person was an absolute beast in SM LC, going 4-1 beating top players in the pool such as Voltix, Envy, Laroxyl, and Wail, only losing to Acehunter. I would highly recommend considering Tempo for LCPL.
Mkns1070 - Another unfamiliar face to the wider LC community. A good friend of mine who went 3-0 in LC UU, including wins against Drifting and vooper. With impressive results across other LC gens, Mkns would be a perfect 3k purchase to consider in future tours.
xonks not enjoying lc Mok3s - Although they weren't able to play as much, their attitude, activity, and talent are not unnoticed. They should definitely be given a chance to prove themselves where possible.
Fragments - Considering you don't main LC, you were impressive, and stepped up every week for us. You also helped with the line ups when there were some mistakes, so your help was appreciated.
Cepha IcyPenguin2 - Your activity in the doubles slot was great, and I'm confident that you will get picked in future tours that involve doubles in LC.
Overall, everyone gave it their all, but the above players are those who aren't as recognised, so I wanted to single them out.
I would also like to thank Howkings Fragments and Envy for your feedback and keeping my spirits high. I've been fortunate to now manage a non-CA tour for Doubles, so I will use this experience to find out whether it was just a one-off, or whether managing is just not for me at the moment.
Apart from close friends, friend groups and team tours I'm in, I'll probably be distancing myself for a bit.

Tagging less than half the team, I wonder how the rest of us felt. May you learn that theres obligations a manager has to their team instead of pushing the blame down the line.
I said EVERYONE gave it their all, but these players aren't as recognised compared to you, Eniigma, Gali, etc who also stepped up so I wanted them to be considered for future tours.
I'm sorry if it was taken the wrong way, I'm thankful for everyone and I take full responsibility as a manager.
Also this isn't meant to be sarcastic, but it would be good to receive tips from you, considering you were a manager in Mushi League this season.

We've been working for this moment for 2 years now, 4 lc teamtours in a row (even tho i was out in one..) and we were finally able to win it all, there isn't anyone else i'd like to win like this, i cant rly explain how this feels right now cause this win represents all of the other tours we lost together, and even tho me and ba won lcwc, the sensation of this one is completely different, it means that all of the failures during the process finally paid off, thanks for trusting me in the first time i got to play a lc teamtour and for keeping up with me until now, even in the bad moments
Lokifan you're the best, I've always wanted to team with you and finally got the opportunity here, thanks for winning us the tournament, best 30k i've ever paid for a player (one day i'll beat you in chess istg)

Hello guys! I am abra xdd, i am brazilian , i have been playing since 2021 (2022 if u consider competitively), i have always liked Little Cup (started playing SWSH before Vullaby Unban) and currently i am maining Black White (BW), Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire (ORAS) and Sun & Moon (SM). Some of my results: 2025 LC Classic Playoffs (lost to lily ), SV LC Winter Seasonal Round 9, DPP LC Classic Cup Quarter-Finals (lost to kythr ) and SM LC Cup Finals (lost to TNunes). I am sure we will do a amazing job, there are such amazing players in this roster. If you need any games and opinions about teams, feel free to ping me!
So, this was my first message at LCCL. After what happened in LCBC (My first LC TeamTour), i really felt that we deserved that tour but something was missing.
When i saw this tour was happening, i thought that it wasnt a good idea to signup, that i would probably get undrafted. When managers were out, and i saw that same Manager Trios, the same from LCBC, where we had a amazing season and we couldnt make to Finals, i thought "maybe its a good idea to signup", and it definitely was.
After the Auction, when i got drafted for 4k by Fresno Fennekins, i had to do the same thing as i did in LCBC, but this time we would need to do even better.
So, i did what i shouldnt have done the last time: being active. But, what should i do to help the team? Well, i guaranteed my managers to be the most proactive ever, and helping the team with all my will.
This tour was really something special, we had so many good and bad moments, but in the end we really did it, thank you so much!! I cant express my happiness now.
Lokifan Skyiew You were incredible SVers, i really hate this gen, but seeing you play made me think this CG isnt so bad after all. Going 12-2 its amazing, the effort putted here cant be even defined.
Jojen HAVOCKNIGHT you were the players we needed in gens when we struggled in some weeks, even with some loses, i am pretty sure you did your best to win, and that is what really matters.

Eu lembro de qnd vc jogava na ladder e era insuportável no chat, e até hoje pelo visto. SM LC is never a easy gen, and building for you was a pleasure, you play really well and you did a amazing job at the Semis and the Finals. Our talking in the chat was so fun, about football (not soccer), food, countries and Brazilian music, it was really fun to have u as a teammate. Hope we get at more teamtours together
Trawkan first of all, you are goated. You was my teammate in EVERY LC teamtour of mine. Almost everything i learned in BW and ORAS was with you. When i see u playing, it feels like i am seeing a wizard doing magic. The fun part about this its your nicknames, i always have some good laughs bcz of them (VOU TE ROUBEI, RONALDINHOGAMER123, LULADRÃO). Also, our Anulo Mufa chain in every part was amazing, i learned a lot about countries and popular culture with you. Thank you so much.
Zcarlett First of all, sorry about that SM LC Cup. As i said, you were my first opp ever. We never got together in a team before this and i always heard about you being a insane Non-Preview LC gens. These gens... i dont even like to play them sometimes, but you did a AMAZING job, won semis and finals matches and i really understood, by myself, that you are so goated. Losing by you in my first match ever wasnt for no reason after all.
HSOWA bro, i gotta tell u something. When someone says DPP LC, i remember you. You are really good at this gen, you did a amazing work. I really enjoyed having you as teammate. Non-preview gens are so hard for me, and you played like a master. It was a big pleasure to play with you.

Akaru Kokuyo First of all, it was a pleasure to have you as a DLCer teammate. SV DLC is never a easy tier, because.. its the only LC which isnt played as Singles. When i played DLC Majors, i felt that i might was good at this thing. Having you in the team was incredible, you did so good i cant even explain. Building and helping you at prep was so fucking amazing, i really got happy when i learn something and i learned so many things with you in this tour. Thank you so much, i really appreciate you as a partner and hope we can play together in future tours.

You always trusted on me in so many tours (LCBC, DPPPL, LCPL) and reading your motivational speech every week, even when i am not playing, was a part of the team. Finally having some time to draft this post properly, lot of tournaments right now and whenever I take part, y'all can be sure I'm there to win, so preps are taking a lot of my time nowadays.
But this does deserve a post at the very least. The Howkings curse is finally broken! I've always taken this as a way to laugh together myself, as much as possible, because there's no point doing otherwise. This is a high-variance game and we accept it when we start playing it, consciously or unconsciously. Sometimes, it wasn't even about the game: I clearly remember scenarios where we couldn't take the last step towards a W because of the pressure, or stress, or simply too much to do because, let's not forget, life takes priority.
But the frustration was real nonetheless. While I'm proud of my record, never having missed playoffs in an (AUCTION) LC teamtour as of today, which definitely shows good consistency, a wise man called Enzo Ferrari once said:
"Runner-up is just a glorified way of saying loser" - He knew a thing or two himself about winning.
That's the Fennekins and Rufflets mentality. We never forgot this is a game and we play it to have fun in the first place, which I think my teammates can confirm we did. But years of good drafts, nice environments and unfortunate circumstances to end the seasons, have made us hungry too. I think that showed off, and will continue showing off in the future! So all in all, finally this happened and I am very very happy, somehow I could say relieved because it wasn't even about myself, there's a long list of people who deserved it.
kythr: The best overall LC player, but I promise I'm not going to say obvious things only today. You told me more than once you may need cover in some strictly-managerial matters, and would focus on playing and helping who you can. That's not true. You are a phenomenal manager. You made the difference in everything. In draft, in game, in prep(s), and also in some administrative scenarios through the years, where we have very little time to decide and staying cold-minded is crucial. Also, you somehow always understand me. We are on the same page without needing to align. You are a great friend and one of the people I enjoy the most on the site. Long live the king of LC
Envy: At this point we can say you are my historical co-manager too. Tier leader is crazy. Your career was so quick and that was definitely deserved. You are young, both in life and even as a player, despite going this far already. So don't ever forget, this is supposed to be nice and enjoyable for you anytime. If it's not, don't hesitate resting up every time you will need it. And take care of yourself, I can tell there's a lot going on for you! You are another friend that I think really understands what's going on in my mind. Also, you make me realize my portuguese and especially spanish might not be completely trash, although I need to improve. One thing that doesn't quite need to improve as much is your knowledge of this game! I mean, that's just wordplay, there's always room for reaching new heights. But I will not, because we are not only talking about the top player. I'm glad I got closer to Lokifan, the person, both in terms of how do we approach the game or other hobbies, or even about completely different topics too. You said you wanted to do better after LCWC, I said nobody ever thought you flopped or need to redeem yourself. But this is the winner metality. A few Ls count for a lot to you. You transformed a season that was...honestly already quite ok, considering the bad luck you got in regulars, into being one of our most decisive teammates going 2-0 in Playoffs. Both at complicated times and scores to be playing on, I must say. You have your own style which is more than fine, I do think time and experience will teach you that there's more than one way of being surprising. Still, this was a super performance, and in general you definitely deserve your spot in every tournament featuring your tiers. I was truly sorry about DPPPL. Keep pushing, if you consistently play as you did this season, you are never going to have that issue again, I am pretty sure!

I think both are still showing off in ADVPL! Your arrival into the scene has brought some fresh air to the generation. bleahey: I'm sorry for making you UU the entire season :( we definitely wanted someone who both knows ball at the tier, and has played more than just the small LC UU tournaments in their life. So you were the perfect profile for us. Don't sleep on this guy though people, I saw in more than one tournament your ORAS and SS LC are definitely on point, and though it wasn't needed this time around, the same goes for SV LC (OU). Again as I said for Akaru, I'm surprised this was only the first time I've managed you. I think you've had all it takes for a while now. Great season man!
AS Saint Priest: You came in clutch too king, at a turning point of this tournament. Last 1-2 slots have always been up for discussion, and when your turn was up, you did not disappoint. I remember we thought you played really well your first game, to the point we decided that's who we surely wanna field in Playoffs. But this does deserve a post at the very least. The Howkings curse is finally broken! I've always taken this as a way to laugh together myself, as much as possible, because there's no point doing otherwise. This is a high-variance game and we accept it when we start playing it, consciously or unconsciously. Sometimes, it wasn't even about the game: I clearly remember scenarios where we couldn't take the last step towards a W because of the pressure, or stress, or simply too much to do because, let's not forget, life takes priority.
But the frustration was real nonetheless. While I'm proud of my record, never having missed playoffs in an (AUCTION) LC teamtour as of today, which definitely shows good consistency, a wise man called Enzo Ferrari once said:
"Runner-up is just a glorified way of saying loser" - He knew a thing or two himself about winning.
That's the Fennekins and Rufflets mentality. We never forgot this is a game and we play it to have fun in the first place, which I think my teammates can confirm we did. But years of good drafts, nice environments and unfortunate circumstances to end the seasons, have made us hungry too. I think that showed off, and will continue showing off in the future! So all in all, finally this happened and I am very very happy, somehow I could say relieved because it wasn't even about myself, there's a long list of people who deserved it.
kythr: The best overall LC player, but I promise I'm not going to say obvious things only today. You told me more than once you may need cover in some strictly-managerial matters, and would focus on playing and helping who you can. That's not true. You are a phenomenal manager. You made the difference in everything. In draft, in game, in prep(s), and also in some administrative scenarios through the years, where we have very little time to decide and staying cold-minded is crucial. Also, you somehow always understand me. We are on the same page without needing to align. You are a great friend and one of the people I enjoy the most on the site. Long live the king of LC
Envy: At this point we can say you are my historical co-manager too. Tier leader is crazy. Your career was so quick and that was definitely deserved. You are young, both in life and even as a player, despite going this far already. So don't ever forget, this is supposed to be nice and enjoyable for you anytime. If it's not, don't hesitate resting up every time you will need it. And take care of yourself, I can tell there's a lot going on for you! Great season regardless, there's A LOT more than one's individual score, to the season contributions. You were a great presence as always, decisive in some games and decisive in some choices. Trawkan: GANAMOS FILIII! Mufa is over, cuenta pendiente is over. Our will to compete and win is not, I doubt that will be over soon. I know us both. You always say it's your last tour, but it never is LOL. And I can relate. It is THAT true, southern italians and southamericans are so similar. You are another friend that I think really understands what's going on in my mind. Also, you make me realize my portuguese and especially spanish might not be completely trash, although I need to improve. One thing that doesn't quite need to improve as much is your knowledge of this game! I mean, that's just wordplay, there's always room for reaching new heights. But your many years of experience always weighted in, and you played many decisive games, at very high stakes, keeping your easy-going attitude every time. I'm grateful for every time we teamed up

Lokifan: Mr. 7-0. Phone gaming only, willingly loading a fire type every game in regular season. I could honestly stop here if we gotta describe the best CG player. But I will not, because we are not only talking about the top player. I'm glad I got closer to Lokifan, the person, both in terms of how do we approach the game or other hobbies, or even about completely different topics too. You said you wanted to do better after LCWC, I said nobody ever thought you flopped or need to redeem yourself. But this is the winner metality. A few Ls count for a lot to you. You don't wanna do "meh" nor "ok", it's greatness or go home. And I admire this a lot from you. Glad to have met and teamed with Lokifan the player, and Lokifan the person.
HSOWA: Another historical teammate of mine, in and out of LC. Another good friend, in and out of curses. I'm sorry we got less chances than I was thinking for teaming up last year, at least I'm making up for it right now! Akaru Kokuyo: Considering how many tours I manage, and how many doubles tiers you excel in, it's crazy that was the first time we have teamed up together! You are truly a TOP Doubles player, finding your ways to dominant scores even in tiers you are not nearly as familiar with, such as post-bans DLC.
