Power Rankings, each team rank in their spoiler

Rank: 1
Reasoning: I trust my team. we got many steals in oldgens to go along with a powerful SV core. We have quality building in every tier

Rank: 8
Reasoning: Fille team belongs on 8th in the power rankings, no matter who is on the team. In this case, their best player has no availability until the playoffs and the fairy are unstable

Rank: 8
They are bald. this team is extremely reliant on Hacker carrying the rest of the team, and pre fairy gens in particular are suspect.

Rank: 8
well balanced, but with 0 tiebreak slots, and only 1 dependably positive slot. I have not seen an Elfuseon team do well in lcpl

Rank: 8
this team chat will be dead when they get crushed by the Remoraiders. Many of their more proven slots are boomer or busy

Rank: 8
Tazz teams are always preseason warriors yet flop anyway, so why bother putting them high. In this case, I do not trust the stronger SV slots to carry the weaker ones, and the majority of oldgens are very reliant on Tazz support

Rank: 8
Lejames Chonk team has very dubious oldgens. Also very top heavy with teambuilding that may or may not be good.

Rank: 8
I had hopes entering the draft for this team. they're gone now. After they spend around 18k on Onraider they were no longer able to afford builders, instead relying on players new to LC.

Do these PRs take account that your entire team fucking hates each other?

ADV LC PR by none other than myself alone, not impacted by any others' opinions or votes like that.

8. MDL Mausoholics (PoseidonWrath)
I've not seen Poseidon playing ADV LC, nor do I know him as a player. Despite that, the MDLs went and got him for 7.5k, and I assume he's fundamentally good as a player? With that said, with no ADV LC experience, nor any supporters, it's hard for me not to put him higher than here. I've a feeling this team may reuse teams from LCBC, which may bite them back, as there has been some meta developing in ADVPL. Regardless, as long PoseidonWrath is a better player fundamentally, meta understanding on how Wailmer, Snubbull, and Lileep work in the tier or whenever to use Diglett or Trapinch, and is capable of building to counteract the meta, then I can see them upset most players. 7.5k isn't a bad pick, but there could be better options, I guess?

7. Laughing Totodiles (Jyusaan)
Not a shocker Jyusaan got drafted because of his bracket run at the ADV LC Cup, taking out noticeable players such as Quinn, Evakiyama, Kaboom, Kythr, etc. But that alone isn't warranted to put him high. He has shown that he lacks experience in meta, as he got caught off guard by some uncommon mons I pulled vs him at finals, for example. There are no supporters who are there to provide information or build any teams for him, as he used teams from my posts to get to the finals. However, he did show that he tried to build, and I liked his takes on certain mons and such, so no one should underestimate Jyusaan's building yet. Still, I've some expectations on Jyusaan here. He could get a similar run like Feen, as Feen got into grands before losing to me, but ultimately stood positive in LCBC and then beat me as well. Maybe it will happen again? With that said, 10k on Jyusaan is absurd, and hopefully it doesn't backfire fire them for drafting Jyusaan so high.

6. Cosmogpolitans (BlackKnight_Gawain)
Gawain's capable of beating everyone on the list, but everyone's also capable of beating him as well. That's how I feel about him in a nutshell. He'd be ranked like a top 3 if he had a strong supporter. But it's not like he is that far behind people ranked higher than himself, but I think most people above him have the upper hand on the current meta, especially when it comes to teambuilding. But credit due, he performed well at ADVPL, and if he manages to spark the same energy in here, then I can easily see him be the 2nd best player in this pool. 7.5k is very reasonable, maybe a steal since he plays other tiers as well.

There's a gap in here where I think all the players below here are extremely close in skill, and everyone's capable of beating each other, easy enough said.

5. Krusty Krabbys (Evakiyama!, Celdanami)
Evakiyama is still, for me, one of the better players, despite her lackluster results. Mainly because she's actively pushing the meta that I align with, and I find her to be a top 2-3 player. For me, it's only because of her results that she's as low as 5th, as she has not been positive in any ADV LC team tournaments. But I've a good bias from LCBC and our friendlies as she tends to kick my ass a bit too much lmfao. Celdanami may come clutch for support or even play ADV LC. While he's more known to shitpost/bring less common mons as that's how he approaches the tier he does have a understanding how ADV LC flows and therefore could be a somewhat support for Evaki lol. Getting 5k on Evakiyama is a criminally nice pick that anyone would have loved.

4. Crystal Onix (Mielke)
Mielke actively helped Evakiyama on LCBC, therefore I've higher hopes for Mielke. He has great support from Naere, and occasionally one-liners from Quinn. I think the player pool is reasonable enough for Mielke to end up positive by the end of the week, especially since I think Mielke is also fundamentally good in ADV as a whole. Very interested in how Mielke will perform, as I do expect him to end up average/positive.

3. Remoraiders (Alder ST, Raichy)
Both were drafted reasonably in terms of prices. Alder ST is always a secure pick for any teams, and getting Raichy is awesome as he's like a top 2-3 player in the ADV playerpool, though I think he's mainly going to play SWSH. I think what could go wrong is if Alder ST gets negative, and then Raichy is playing with Alder ST teams because Alder ST teams mostly work for themselves, and I think most other players would have an awkward time pivoting it. Raichy can provide feedback, of course, but their synergy is rather awkward. They've also Reggg and Kaboom that could provide strong feedback, but I'm inclined to believe that they will actively ignore the ADV LC channel, and therefore, it mostly puts Alder ST himself to do the work alone. If Reggg and Kaboom did do some valuable help for the ADV LC slot, it could easily be the best team in here. Remoraiders got absurd ADV LC support in here, like lowkey unfair. But otherwise, I'll put them at 3rd for now.

2. Norwood Voltorb (Feen, Rineko)
I'll keep my own thoughts on how I feel about 10k Feen and 3k Rineko, but both of them together is something I approve of from this draft. I think Feen can easily decimate this player pool, especially with Rineko's support. Rineko has improved her building skill a ton since LPL 13, as she was valuable for me in LCBC, and her + Raichy got into ADV LC Finals where they should've won vs me if I didn't luck them, whoops. All I want is for Feen to play more precisely, and he'll end up positive with 2 losses at worst.

1. Swooping Rufflet (Shing)
1749115251656.png

I've yet to lose an advlc match in team tours since vs Feen at LCBC LOL. As being paid 18k though? Hm, considering some managers wanted me for 15k at max, and I've bound to get fought for custody, I think it's a good price even if I find it absurd to pay ADV Slot for that much. Being #1 is questionable when comparing myself to the above. Second to fourth has better support compared to me with Fili and Howkings(my LPL 13 goats...) as my support. But I've only taken two losses at worst at LC team tours, and I am a cheat code in a way, based on Colin's words. I just think the Rufflets are not unanimously #1 since Howking's draft wasn't perfect. But I'm not gonna say our team is not nr 1, because we are by the end of the tournament ;)

LCPL XIV Power Rankings

It's finally here! As per custom, we've asked all the managers to submit their own rankings to create the official LC Power Rankings, you all know how this works yadda yadda but I've gotta fill out some sort of opening statement so here we are. And here are the results; PR Docs

:remoraid:Remoraiders #1

SV1 Kaboom #9
SV2 Xiri #29
SV3 Colin #5
SV4 Eric #6
SWSH Raichy #4
SM Boulicrok #1
ORAS Akaru Kokuyo #6
BW Nashrock #7
DPP Reggg #3
ADV Alder ST #3

Having missed out on her first playoff since LCPL X last year, Coco is back with what could arguably be considered her strongest team ever. With a clearly dominating SV core along with the top SM player and podium players for DPP and ADV, Remoraiders oldgens aren't anything to scoff at either. With Colin as her second-in-command, the prep should be as astounding as ever even with Kaboom abstaining from helping other slots.

Having three out of four starters in SV ranked in the top 10s, we're expecting a very positive result from this core. While Kaboom, renown for carrying the last years winners along with Edgy, has refused to help other slots, chances are he'll be motivated to help out once a very likely playoffs run approaches. Even if he doesn't, he's expected to go positive in an arguably stacked SV pool, building innovative and plausibly meta-defining squads for himself. Éric and Colin can, however, carry the entire team prepwise just between the two of them. Both being known as machines in that department, there shouldn't be a single gen that at least one of them hasn't touched and left their mark on. This bodes well for Xiri, whom while being a renown lower tier player and well versed in upper tiers as well, is ranked #29 for their less impressive 7-14 all-time LC Team Tour record. These previous records can, however, likely be attributed to poor building from his previous teammates, as Xiri is not someone who builds LC and as a result is not likely to pull out a few good wins with Colin and Éric backing him. Speaking of, Éric is another one who is negative on the Team Tour sheet, and infamous for going negative in specifically LCPL (According to his attorney D.v.s.), but finally being on a top contending team is not unikely to pull a good run out of the SCL level Spanish talent. Colin though, having emerged as the biggest talent from the first edition of LCSL, has been a vital part of every team he's played for ever since that tournament, winning LCPL in 2023 with the Oshawotts and cementing his status as an elite LC player through his SCL debut only 2 years after playing LCSL! Ranked #5 overall in SV, the team will likely depend a lot on his diverse skillset, so we'll have to see if he can carry the pressure put on his shoulders.

With Boulicrok in the talks for being an all-time top 3 LC player, Reggg being in discussion for being the current premier DPP player (7-1 LPL run) and an Alder not unlikely to be thirsty to overthrow Shing as the premier ADV player after a middling 4-4 LCBC run, we're looking at a powerful oldgens lineup that could've carried any team. Following up with an oddly ranked #6 Akaru coming fresh off of an 8-2 LCBC run, as well as a Nashrock probably eager to prove his worth after some nasty in-team drama last LCPL, there's no doubt this is a lineup with tremendous potential, and while their Swsh Raichy may not be known for playing LC, he's a phenomenal player in his own rights and have builders like Eric and Colin to back him up, cementing what is likely the team to beat this LCPL!

:totodile:Laughing Totodiles #2

SV1 Elfuseon #19
SV2 CMDoge #16
SV3 Always Edgy #13
SV4 Rarre #30
SWSH WestSasori #3
SM Acehunter1 #2
ORAS Gali #5
BW Corckscrew #2
DPP Nails #1
ADV Jiyusaan #7

Coming back with a vengeance from his 2023 flop LCPL run, Elfuseon has managed to secure what the voters deemed the second strongest team this LCPL! Elfuseon and Wesleyy managed to draft what is potentially the single strongest oldgens core of the entire tournament, with both their lowest ranked players both being well known for their respective gens and as a result not unlikely to pull an upset.

Spearheading their SV Core is Elfuseon along with former co-manager CMDoge, and Brazilian multi-talent Edgy, known for carrying the last two teams he were on to a trophy (And helping the last years winning SCL team in LC). However, with alledgedly no prep-help from Edgy, Elfuseon and Cmdoge will have to carry that mantle along with LC new-gen prodigy Rarre, who's been around for a while and has proven on multiple occations that he is competent, but just haven't had a proper breakout tour just yet. While Elfuseon and Cmdoge both have seen positive results in a variety of tournaments, Elfuseon winning last years Majors, neither seem to have been able to distinguish themselves in specifically LCPL, but with the team Elfuseon and Wesleyy drafted this year that might just change.

Nails, Corckscrew and AceHunter1 have all had their ups and downs in past LCPLs, but all three are historically top performing players across multiple LCPLs, Nails having been considered the best or at worst among the best at DPP LC since LCPL 7 or possibly even longer (The author is not an LC Historian, he's moreso a drunk). Sporting an all-time 66% win-ratio across all LC Team tournaments, his dominance is unlikely to be questioned just yet. Similarly, Acehunter1 and Corckscrew both holds very positive records across tournaments, but while Acehunter1 (Current LCPL Champion mind you) is in one of his dominant gens, Corckscrew is more widely associated with ORAS LC rather than BW which he now finds himself slotted in. With that being said, Corckscrew is the main reason Scarf Gastly sees as much usage as it does in the current metagame, and has firmly established himself still as a top contender for top BW player at the moment, especially considering the powerful Classics run in the most recent edition. Combine all of them with WestSasori, #3 ranked SWSH player known for his wild antics in the builder, and this oldgens core is looking excrutiatingly terrifying. Rounding it out we have LC Veteran Gali, one of the most well versed ORAS builders with almost a decade of LC experience, as well Jiyusaan with their debut performance in an LC team tournament, whom we are excited to see how well can do in a cutthroat Shing tier.

:rufflet:Swooping Rufflets #3

SV1 Dunoks #27
SV2 Kythr #1
SV3 Django #24
SV4 Drifting #23
SWSH Stecolomaxx #5
SM Abra xdd #8
ORAS Tazz #1
BW Mister Magnus #3
DPP Mayopockets #5
ADV Shing #1

With a line-up consisting of three individuals ranked #1 in their respective pools, this might finally be the line-up to break the Tazz curse to never reach playoffs since his LCPL XIII win. While Howkings has gotten his star duo from last years finalist team in Kythr + Magnus as well as ADV Cheat code Shing, Tazz is likely to make his presence known in every single building slot. Is this the year of the Tazz? Does Howkings finally get the trophy he was so close to grabbing last year? Only time and an arguably incredible line-up will tell.

While speaking of spearheading lineups, Kythr truly does the definition of that as the only player ranked in the top #20. He is, however, almost unanimously ranked the #1 player in the pool, and his stellar LC Teamtour record with a 67% winratio in what always seems to be stacked CG pools is incredibly impressive. With him we have Dunoks making his teamtour debut, as well Django being once again picked up as recident tourplayer after a decent 4-4 LCBC run. Finally we have Drifting, coming off of an impressive 8-1 LCBC run in LC UU, hopefully being able to replicate similar results in regular LC to confirm his claim as a top tier LCer. With the combined building prowess of Kythr, Tazz and Drifting, despite being ranked the overall second-to-last SV Core, there is a lot of potential here for the tazzes to finally have a good CG run.

The oldgen core is, however, probably the most potent of the entire tournament. With Tazz yet again poleing as the #1 ORAS player as well as Shing continuously proving that he is the ADV meta, they're both looking to snag up some seemingly easy wins for their team. Magnus, ranked #3 in his pool, has finally after an excrutiating amount of years established himself as an LCPL mainstay worth paying for, with an impressive run last LCPL. Despite coming out from a recent hiatus, he's not unlikely to pull the same weight he did last year! Steco has also been a Swsh mainstay for quite some time now, churning out positive records every year once LCPL comes around, and while Mayopockets was ranked only 5th in their pool, they've had an incredible Dpppl run and the building prowess of Tazz to back them up with teams! Lastly we have the only tarnishing spot on their otherwise seemingly flawless oldgens core being the #8 ranked Abra xdd. However, anyone who knows the young Brazilian knows that he has been grinding LC oldgens more than any other person over the last year, and as long as he doesn't get sabotaged by Envy, he should still be capable of providing a good record in an otherwise fairly close pool.

:onix:The Crystal Onix #4

SV1 Larry #8
SV2 Quinn #12
SV3 Fade #25
SV4 Onraider #17
SWSH MCLT #8
SM FC #3
ORAS Gondra #4
BW Envy #1
DPP Naere #7
ADV Mielke #6

Envy and former LCPL winner Tko brings back the LCPL VI winning franchise to start with a boom and too much money to spend in the middle of the LC draft, resulting in a team that seemed like they'd overpaid for, only to realise that the Tko way is to build and carry tournament players to their carreer best LC performances. Furthermore, Envy has proven his manager anthics and building ethics can work multiple times across multiple teams, boasting what seemed at first to be the clear winning team in LCBC with an incredible performance! They've fished out a lot of players with little to no experience in LC this time, so unless they're gambling as much as Dcae in his cocaine fueled backyard dogfight obsession, they've probably scouted out and have a plan unbeknown to most of us with #8 ranked MCLT, #6 ranked Mielke and #7 ranked Naere all making a teamtour debut or an overall debut in that respective gen.

What was ranked as the 5th overall SV core only 0.03 points below 4th place, consists of SCL LCers Larry and Quinn as well as newcomer Onraider, who just finished LCBC 5-2, and fresh-to-the-LC-scene Fade. While none of these names inspires the same terror as facing Kythr would, none of them are anything to scoff at, making up what could arguably be called one of the most consistent SV rosters on any team, especially with ladder prodigee Envy helping out with building. Quinn, Onraider and Envy are likely to form a problematically strong building core with their common experience from recent tournaments, so while lower ranked there's a very high chance of this core shooting for results above even the #1 ranked SV core from the Remoraiders!

While this oldgen core might seem iffy with only Envy and FC being familiar names to most LCers (Along with Naere, but they're only known for ADV, a gen they locked out of!), that only adds further to the theory that Envy and Tko came into this draft with a plan, and one where they'd scouted out talents the rest of us have not looked thoroughly enough at. Either that or they're Envy/Tko alts, something not entirely unlikely either (Looking at you trash). While Envy himself is rumored to be a Pablo alt, he's further went and bought Gondra, another LatAm Pablo alt. Despite having only an 8-11 record across LC teamtours, Gondra has established himself as a dominant player across multiple tiers, and with Envy teams or plays (Whichever they go for), he's not unlikely to do well in a pool where he's been ranked #4 in spite of said record. Mielke has also established himself as someone very potent in ADV, helping out the #8 place in LCBC in ADV and now seeing himself starting with some plausible help from established ADVer Naere, who locked themself out of ADV in favour of being ranked at the bottom of the DPP pool instead. Tko has, however, gone on record to call DPP a mickey tier, and is on a run to ruin the established meta, something that could highly benefit Naere who is otherwise known as an above average pilot!

Who the fuck is MCLT though? Pablo #3?

:voltorb:Norwood Voltorbs #5

SV1 Teamo #26
SV2 Daunt VS #11
SV3 Hacker #4
SV4 As Saint Priest #19
SWSH Mendeez #6
SM Kate #5
ORAS Trace #7
BW Hybone #4
DPP TheIronPikachu #6
ADV Feen #2

Boasting the #3 ranked SV core, Voltorbs still find themselves outside of expected playoffs contention by merrits of a very middlingly ranked oldgens core. With Feen being the only podium ranked player on the team, and one who's unable to support himself unless reusing LCBC/LPL teams, we're looking at a team that might be the first one on this list to find themselves struggling. However, in spite of the lower ranks, they have the equivalent to LC Jesus as the overall #4 ranked SV LCer, one who's capable of pushing out teams faster than their manager calls people out for perpetual lack of hair, and that carry potential is not at all unlikely to result in multiple of these lower ranked oldgens players pulling big upsets.

While only ranked #26, Teamos ceiling has been pushed to new limits the past year with incredible placements in tournaments like the LC Classics, proving that he's a player capable of pulling incredible upsets and one who might, with guidance from SCL Veterans DVS and Hacker, finally establish himself as a top LCer. DVS himself has not had any good recent results, but finally managing a team of his own he might live up to the standards set by himself back in 2021 with his LCPL debut resulting in a trophy and establishing himself as a power player in the coming SCL with a 6-3 record, only losing to the biggest succesful fish in LC history; Salac magnemite. (We do not condone Fairy/Goao shenanigans in this PR). Rounding out with our fresh and sober TierLeader, someone who's established a clear dominance on the LC Circuit with 3 different trophies, as well as ASSP, someone known to be almost as toxic as their manager (Yet ferociously clean gameplay), we have a powerful SV core ready to take scalps.

The only threatening presence, however, in this oldgen lineup, seems to be the recent Classics prodigee Hybone, who's currently ranked #4 in his respective pool. Feen, while ranked #2, still has an asterisk to his name in terms of prep, but has proven across multiple years, tours and gens that he is an incredibly talented player, and DVS likely hoped for that inner genius to come out this tour as well, despite his 0-5 run last LCPL leading to a well-carried trophy. Mendeez also makes a return, someone who was considered as one of the potential next generation LC superstars a couple years ago, but who retired only to pop out every now and then for team tournaments, hoping to make a dent into the generation he played as a current gen at a very high level. Kate comes in as recident trophy tourplayer to-be-carried-by-Hacker-teams, while Trace and IronPikachu forms the core of Hacker goons probably requested by the man himself as a clause in his building contract. Trace has historically had less than average results, but is competent and comfortable with ORAS when needed, and Pikachu, while not having any incredible results as of yet, came out from LCSL last year to a 2-1 Dpp record and is not unlikely to hold her own in what is a considerably stacked Dpp pool.

SV1 Starsama #2
SV2 Pigwarrior19 #20
SV3 JuanSG #15
SV4 691 #27
SWSH Kingler #1
SM Dugtrio Is Broken #6
ORAS Watashi #2
BW Baddy #8
DPP Celdanami #8
ADV Evakiyama! #5

Having gained their first LCPL trophy last year, managers Kingler and Brammi are obviously thirsty for more and their insatiable lust for pixels has lead them to draft a team with podium players in 3 different slots (And an incoming one SM once LilyAC is finally freed from signup jail!). With Starsama spearheading their SV Core after a few intensely good tournament showings backed by an SCL hungry Pigwarrior and last year Skitty carry JuanSG, we're looking at a team that, while currently ranked #6, is not unlikely to pop off later on and conquer playoffs.

With JuanSG having established himself as one of the best SVLC builders, almost singlehandedly getting Sun banned during LCBC with a public sample team, this team should have a building core that can easily take down higher ranked SV Cores. Starsama coming back from an SCL run where he was one of the only positive players on his team, he should hopefully be eager to feast with his hungry teammates attempting to get a trophy he's deserved for a long time. Pigwarrior, while only 10-9 all-time in LC teamtours (excluding 4-0 LCSL debut), is looking to pump those numbers up to up his chances of being drafted for the upcoming edition of SCL, while 691, who already has said green trophy, can hopefully tag along on this carnivorous ride despite the #27 ranking.

While the oldgens rankings may not seem impressive at first with double bottom ranked players, Kingler and Brammi have bribed Lily to carry at least half the team until she herself can finally play some games. In fact, this carry potential and overall usual ranking within lower tiers is what won them the tiebreaker for 6th(!) spot in the PRs! This means that even #8 ranked Baddy and #6 ranked Dugtrio Is Broken are both not unlikely to pull incredible upsets with teams from Europes biggest oldgen sweat, as well as #2 ranked Watashi, someone whose overall LC teamtour record is one of the most impressive with a 69% winratio across almost a full decade, this oldgen core is gonna be a lot more promising than on first impression. Further bolstering that with Kingler as the #1 ranked Swsh player after an impressive 8-1 run last LCPL and Evakiyama! as #5 in ADV, Krabbys should definitely not be ruled out from playoffs contention just yet. All that remains to see is if Brammi gives LilyAC enough aneurisms in the Dpp builder to push her to finally cancer on a team for the first time in LC history.

SV1 Laroxyl #3
SV2 Eniigma #14
SV3 Fogbound Lake #18
SV4 LeJames Chonk #21
SWSH Greedy_EB #7
SM Voltix #4
ORAS Avarice #8
BW Piyu #5
DPP Fantos #4
ADV BlackKnight_Gawain #4

Almost closing the pool, we have the Cosmogpolitans leaded by LeJames Chonk and DC. Respectively cute pigs and Kpop lovers. LeChonk and DC had an arguably good draft while getting mid to strong players in many gens. LeChonk has played in many LC tours recently while also managing a team in last LCBC alonside Laroxyl and LCPL with Coconut. DC on the other hand is quite off LC recently but has much more experience in the tier and oldgens, making them a great addition to the prep for the team. Taking into account that Heysup isnt in the LU yet, their ORAS slot is ranked much lowered than it should be, so is their overall PRs rank.

Analysing the team deeper, we start strong with Laroxyl being ranked 3rd in all SV slots and also having a lot of experience in all gens. This guy is by far one of the best players in the LC SV metagame right now and in LC in general. The most expensive pick for the Cosmogs, but there's no doubt they will bring some important wins while also being able to support many of their teammates with precious tips. Last LCPL was rough for Laroxyl, only making 4-5 in SV, but you can surely expect them to bounce back here. Next, we have another strong but Eniigma'tic player, Eniigma has started as a ladder hero, but quickly climbed in tours with their original and unexpected teambuilding. Bringing some LC UU and even LC RU pokemon to the scene and winning is Always a great show. To complete the SV core, we have Fogbound Lake, Ubers top player while also making a very interesting run so far in LC Open and LeChonk (3-4 in SV last LCBC). Those two are very decent SV2 and SV3, making the Cosmogs SV core, the second best of those PRs. In the oldgens, Greedy_eb (3-3 in SV-DPP last LCPL, 4-4 in SV last LCPL) starts in SS, their 7th rank in the pool isnt really surprising. SS hasnt been their tier of predilection and their last two mid performances is probably the reason behind that reasoning. Voltix (3-3 in last LCBC and 5-2 in last LCPL, all SM) is as usual taking the SM slot. Doubles player, but historically good SM player, we can expect a solid even record or slightly better. In that very divided pool, Voltix will have to step up if they want to finish better than their actual 4th place. Next, in ORAS we have avarice. Great player in general, they unfortunately dont have good results in LC and thats the major Reason why they are ranked 8th in their pool. 0-3 in last LCPL in ORAS and similar results by the past, opponents will still need to be careful since they still know how to click and surprise the audience. Another great player in other tier that come to fill a slot for the Cosmogs, Piyu is well known to be an insane OU and oldgens player while sometime making some appearance on the LC scene. With arguably the overall weakest pool of all oldgens in BW, it wouldnt be a surprise to see Piyu getting some precious wins for their team. DPP is the home sweet home of Fantos13, guy has been around for so long, they have a notable knowledge in teambuilding while also know being able to support other teammates in oldgens. The mid ingame place them in 4th place of their respective pool PRs, but lets not forget that this pool is also really stacked. Finally, we have BlackKnight_Gawain in ADV. With recent results of 2-3 in SV last LCBC and 1-3 in last LCPL, managers have faith in resurecting their player winning streak by putting them in this slot. Anything can happen, with an heterogeneous pool and support, BKG may surprise us.

In the end, we have a divided team, with a strong SV core and some weak oldgens slot. LeChonk and DC will have to do some magic to make it to the playoffs. With the Heysup comeback, maybe it can happen. Seeing them finishing in 5th or 6th position would be Something expected.

:tandemaus:MDL Mausoholics #8

SV1 Vooper #22
SV2 LB #32
SV3 Fille #7
SV4 Armo #31
SWSH Wail Wailord #2
SM Ict #7
ORAS Jox #3
BW TyCarter #6
DPP HSOWA #2
ADV PoseidonWrath #8

In last position, we have the MDL Mausoholics leaded by Fille and rhydonphilip both defending LCPL champions. One side note before even presenting the team. Lokifan, arguably the center piece of their SV core, wasnt taken into account for those PRs, which make their SV rank much lowered than it should be and their final team ranking as well. Once this is said, Fille (7th in the SV rank for this current LCPL) is already part of the LC lore on smogon and has already proven he's a talented player while also being the best tea maker in all North Europe. Although, Fille will really like to bounce back after a disappointing LCBC, his team finishing in 8th place while only winning one Week and made an ok personal record of 3-3. Alongside him, we have rhydonphilip, a fairly newcomer on the LC scene, but a big help for every manager since they have good knowledge in pokemon in general. More active in gen 6 and before, they were as well NU moderator at some point. They were with Fille last year to be the winning managers of LCPL and we can bet they are here to defend their title. Fille went brazy last LCPL, leading his team with a solid 8-3 in SV and BW.

As we said earlier, Lokifan isnt in the SV core PRs for the Mausoholics which place them far behind everybody in last position. We can assume they would be higher in full consideration of the team. Fille is leading once again the SV core, with vooper, recent ladder hero that hook up on LC and is already a great player making a decent 4-3 in last LCPL and currently doing well in LCLT. Next, we have Armo and LB that are two non mainers in LC, one is currently replacing Lokifan that isnt available yet. Those two will have to work hard to make their place in that really stacked pool. In SS, one other great old timer is Wail wailord, many years Under the belt and some really good performances. Wail, strong from a 4-2 (SM) in last LCBC and a 6-1 (SM) in last LCPL is the center piece of the oldgens of the team. No one can doubt their skills even tough we are more use to see them in SM, we can for sure expect them to finish at least in the top 3 of their pool. Talking about SM, ict is making its way in LC in this very tough pool. Currently ranked 7th, ict has good knowledge in higher tiers, which makes them a skillful player, but we all know that LC is pretty unique. So it will be interesting to Watch them perform here. With the support of Wail, we can expect maybe some upsets here and there. If we talk about Fille, of course we are talking about Jox. The best chief baker of smogon and reknown for Always drink during auctions. Jox is a safe pick, Always does the job and bring refreshing teams with cool ideas. Good record of 5-3 in last LCBC and ranked third in this LCPL PRs, we can expect them to do fairly well and bring good wins to the team.In BW, Tycarter is slowly getting into LC (3-3 in BW last LCBC and 2-0 in DPP last LCPL), very good UU and higher tiers player, they will need to prep hard to make their way in this mixed pool. Honestly, anything can happen in this BW pool, so lets see what the future will bring to this guy, but an even record would be a clear win for the Mausoholics in this spot. Another strong player and old timer, HSOWA has had a rough time recently, last LCPL 2-5 in DPP and a decent 4-3 in last LCBC. We can't deny the fact that historically HSOWA has always done well overall so thats why we see them ranked second in this pool PRs and we can expect them to do so. Of course, DPP is reknown to have some RNG dependant tendencies so anything can happen. Finally, we have PoseidonWrath (2-6 in ORAS last LCBC and 0-2 in BW-SS) that we can think was put in ADV to fill the slot. They are a competent player in LC skillwise, but having them ranked 8th in this LCPL ADV PRs isnt a surprise. We can maybe see them get some wins since the pool is currently really divided in 2, but more than an even ratio would be a surprise.

Mausoholics are in general a good team, their SV core is currently affected by the absence of Lokifan, lets see how they can manage to get through this phase. While the oldgens are really high and low. Wail, Jox and HSOWA lead the way while the other are packing the lunch at the end. Having them in 8th place at the end of this season is probably wrong, but its gonna be interesting to see how high they can climb the ladder.

Final notes, big shoutouts to Elfuseon for helping me get these PRs up in a reasonable time, you were a godsend when no one else had time to help! Thanks to Coconut and Envy for offering to help as well, we managed without busying you more than necessary thankfully.
