Been thinking on posting for a while. I'm kind of new, I will be posting pixel-art and digital art (to the best of my abilities). You may also find my stuff in some of the smeargle events.

I do this kind of genV style trainer sprites, in this case it's Rebecca from the Netflix TV series Cyberpunk:Edgerunners!!
(I may or may not be making more of these guys
). I try to mantain the limitations they usually have regarding to size and pallete (although I made this a while ago and I haven't checked but I think it's still only 15 colours+transparent). I kind of love when the sprite includes a Pokemon in it so I may be biased to include some, but I think the remoraids kind of fit her!!
Lastly, this month I am a little busy, so my posting rate may be on the lower side, but I'm making this windows 95 Solitaire inspired deck that is easier on my schedule and I will be uploading new cards periodically. I love how such a limited palette can be used for results so different from each other!!!
Getting started we have Stargazing Gothita, Shuppetgazing Shuppet and a bunch of Miniors. Let's see who gets chosen for the next batch!! I'm planning on completing the whole deck

Eight (or maybe more!!) heads and not a single thought.
So... the spades are a little more abstract in these ones.
The Burmies and the Wormadams are so small that I couldn't almost add any detail, so I might revisit the 7 of spades in the future, but I thought that the Burmies having a spade-ish shape on their heads and the Wormadams' heads an upside-down spade like shape was too good not to use!!
For the Mareep and the Ampharos, a friend of mine told me they looked like a lesbian couple and that's my new head-cannon. (And as I am the creator it is also the real cannon too now).
So I made two more and I love them so much
, the kids are just so unassuming and Smeargle looks so proud, I just can't!! Hahahaha
So this finishes the suit of spades!! I've decided to use a pseudolegendary line in every suit and some trainer known to use it. I really wanted to put Cynthia as the King of Spades, but once I knew there was an official desing for her as a child I knew I had to include it!!
Proffesor Sycamore' face was a bit tricky to get right, but I think it turn out alright at the end!!
We are starting a new suit!! Not having to do the numbers again was great, haha,
(They have a ring on their tail so they're Finizens and not just regular dolphins... I swear!!)

Appletun is not red, but its helmet is, so it counts as a heart

Another suit completed!!
I'm really sorry for the Steven fans, I'm sad too that I couldn't add him, but there was no way to make it look good without changing the whole scene (I tried), so I went with Amarys, who I wanted to include anyway. (By the time I notice that they both used a Metagross as their ace I've already done the Jack with a much less popular character).
Another character that I'm really sad not to add is Caitlin, is the only character (at least that comes to mind) that has debuted before their main game, appearing with a much younger design in Platinum, one that would have been perfect for the Jack, but shes not really that related to the Metagross family so I scrapped the idea somewhat early (much to my regret).
I'm using the time I have to make things for this page to draw something for the current Limited Palette Challenge (Happy Pride Month, everybody, by the way!!), so I haven't had time to make new cards for the deck!! Instead, I'm posting these two sprites I made I while ago of Lucy and David.
Lucy was particularly difficult to keep the colours within the 16 colour palette, mainly because of her hair.
As for David, I don't think there are any sprites without outlines in Pokemon (at least I cannot remember any), but I didn't outline his chains or the dangly thins of his jacket. I don't thinks it breaks the style too much, thou.
It's been a few days!! I Have started the clubs.
I wasn't sure of what to put as a background for the ace, so I did like in the first card and just added a few constellations. It appears that having the ace being the negative space between two Pokemon has become kind of a motiv, so I'm going to keep it that way.
(Also am I the only one obsessed with the fact that sea urchins like wearing hats?? I cannot understand how it hasn't been adapted into a design jet)
In the card featuring Klefki, I used the keys of the official art because I had the colours to do so, but I find really interesting how that's just the standard design and it could really be holding any kind of keys, planning on drawing something based on this!! (There are other pokemon where this happens, but I can't remember any right now)
I finished two more of the cards!!
With the Squawkabillies, I started by making the full image in the pose I wanted them to be in and then coloured the four versions. Unfortunately the canvas inside the card is so small that it almost doesn't show.
Then, with the five. I had two versions that made it as the final with different colour for the trees in the background. One with the same green and dark yellow that the Sudowoodo line uses here, which offered less contrast, but fitted the theme of camouflage they have going on better.
I finally decided on this because I think the dark cyan gives more depth (I think it's something called aerial perspective, when things turn bluer in the distance, although, I'm not sure).Last edited:

Originally, the background of the Murkrows was going to be Klefki's (nº3c), but it made it look too big. I'm glad tho because I love these Murkrows, they look like up to no good.
I really like how seven looks!! I wouldn't mind a minigame that looked like that!!
When making the Alcreamies, I made a desing for each kind of swirl, and I tried three different backgrounds too, I ended up using this one, but when I finish the collection I might revisit it.

I wanted to give Carnivine a bib so bad!! But it looked too busy :( (The bugs were fine after the incident (this is not the cannon aftermath, just wishful thinking)). I really hope I don't need any of the lines I put in this card in any of the diamonds hahaha, I'm fine with this card, but I would have to change some of the silhouettes if that happened.
And who's that Pokémon!! (Def not Smeargle) I wasn't planning on adding connecting art cards to the deck, but I guess it happened!!
I've been really busy this last week, so I haven't been able to post anything :( I had the J and the Q for I while and I spent some time today to finish the K so the clubs were finished once and for all hahaha. I probably will still be busy until Tuesday, when I hope I will start posting regularly again.
There are not that many users of pseudolegendaries as aces in the game, and I struggled to find someone for the J. I thought about using the young desing of Iris for that, but I found a Breeder in the anime that raised three Deino and ended up using him!!
That's how Iris, who's ace is not Hydreigon, ended up as the King of Clubs, demoting Ghetsis in the process (I changed his coat pattern so it was clear that those were eye-prints, but I promise, it's still him). It felt wrong using her Champion desing with a Pokemon that wasn't fully evolved.
I'm really happy with this change tho, because it gave me the opportunity to include a lot of visually interesting ideas such us N's official (I think) appearance as a kid and Zweilous wearing Zekrom and Reshiram hats. Which with Ghetsis overseeing the situation on the back allows for a lot of story-telling without it looking to forced. (in my opinion)
On the process of making them, except for Iris hair, they didn't required too much planning (thanks to Bulbapedia for having her model sheet!!).
The last suit!! You see, the iceberg card was first thought for the 3 of diamonds, having one Delibird flying, one on the iceberg and the other underwater, but apparently Delibird doesn't live in the artic, but on the mountain instead, and doesn't swim, so... NO DELIBIRD. I made the iceberg more diamond-shaped and the soon-to-be Slowbro. I tried giving it a sunset colour-scheme, but it didn't look quite right, so I scrapped it.
The eeveelutions!! They had quite a problem with scaling during production. The idea was to have Umbreon glowing because of the full moon and the rest asleep, but I made Umbreon too big in comparisson with the others. Then, when trying to fix it, scaling the others up didn't allow for all of them to fit and scaling Umbreon down made him look a bit weird. But I like this Mufasa look for them!! (I might change my mind in the future and scale them all up for the final deck).
Three more to the collection!!
I really like how number 3 turned out, although Duskull caught the short end of the stick, not being able to showcase the single red orb being used as both of its pupils. I like the Halloweeny environment and how the hands of Dusclops ended up looking.
Number 5 was an idea I had for the suit of hearts. I still think it works better for the hearts because of how curly-Tatsugiri is shaped, I thought of using the droopy-form instead, but there is no orange in the pallete I'm using so I just did it with the curly-form as I had originally planned.
Almost there!! The Combee and Vespiquen was another card first drawn for the suit of hearts, but it fitted the diamonds way more so it ended up here!! The Ralts line was thought as a counterpart to the eight of hearts, with gems simbolizing hearts in that one and hearts (sensory organs???) simbolizing diamonds in this one.Last edited:

Not much to say!! Chingling is my favourite Pokemon!! At first I used a Figy berry (because of its shape and red accents) .But at the end I changed it to a Roseli because the other didn't stand out enough. I wanted to use a berry that wasn't on the 9 of hearts so it looked that it was missing from there!! (It's not really the same artstyle, thou)
