Round the Fourth: A Restorative Retreat

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I must apologize for the...exigency prior to the commercial break. It would appear a certain Zorua has been tormenting my companion recently, including masquerading as myself. However, the issue has since been resolved, and I have confidence no more problems shall arise.

Now then...as you'll recall, Arcanite's Scrafty was defeated in the previous round, having leapt into the heavens to perform a Hi Jump Kick, but most likely descended far from here.

*slowly floats past the screen*

As a result, he has summoned his fourth pokemon, a Torterra dubbed...erm, Land Turtle. Meanwhile, House Straton has...wait, where are they? I see the Pokemon, but not the trainers. No matter, they seem able to battle, and the show must go on.

Charged from Behemoth's earlier gaffe, Stasis raises the curtain by punishing him with a Psychic assault, while Tulowitzki soars above, dodging the Ice Beam that the hapless Nidoking had in store. Land Turtle fares better, his Rock Slide managing to nick at least the Voodoom's defenses, but just barely fails to strike the Straton's Aerodactyl as he ends his Flight upon his face. Stasis brings forth another Psychic attack on Behemoth, this time felling him, leaving Land Turtle to defend Arcanite alone. Fortune seems to favor him, however, as Tulowitzki takes a brief moment to Chill away his fatigue, allowing the Torterra to sharpen the Edges on his Stony shell and deliver a tremendous blow.

Oddly enough, this does not seem to anger the Aerodactyl, as he continues to rest - this time with Stasis joining him. Not one to ignore an opportunity when he sees it, Land Turtle deluges the duo with another Rock Slide, if only for a pittance of damage.

Round the Final: An Overestimation of Endurance

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to what appears to be the final act of tonight's battle. Despite their trainers being absent for most of the battle, House Straton's pokemon have performed most admirably tonight, Stasis in particular. However, both she and her amphibious companion have appeared to retire, with Tulowitzki returning and an Aurorus dubbed Anastasia taking the stage and...oh dear, the temperature seems to have dropped quite abruptly...

Although still well-fortified, Arcanite's last bastion is in dire straits as he Protects against an orchestrated assault upon him. While at first Land Turtle was able to successfully defend himself against an Attack from the Sky and a glaciating Hyper Beam, the hapless tortoise was left too fatigued to Endure the hits necessary to make his final swan song, granting the Stratons victory.
