Legendary Stories (Story One Started)

[Banner Incoming]
Hey there, and welcome to Legendary Stories. This is a place where I write stories about Pokemon and gather inspiration and critique for my writing.
The Stuff:
1: I make completely non-canon stories about Pokemon, but they contain some canon content. Credit goes to the canon-creators.
2: I may allow people to write stories as well, but please ask me before writing. Also make sure you make a title for the story and use correct spelling and grammar. A reference to any previous writing would be nice, but not required.
3: Be nice, and only offer helpful and constructive criticism.
4: I will be writing in chapters, which will be 1 post every one or two chapters.
CURRENT STORY:

The Legend Of Mewtwo

NEXT STORY:

The Challenger

The Legend Of Mewtwo
CHAPTER ONE:
Discovery
July 5th, Guyana, South America
My crew is exploring the jungles here in America, but we are in dire need of supplies. We are lost on this island with thick trees and many bushes. There is a lack of Pokemon here, yet we still can get hurt from various ledges and falls. Geographers call this place Faraway Island, as it is quite far away from civilization I suppose? My crew got sent here due to a map being found underground with nearby coordinates. I consider Faraway a name with a lack of creativity.

One Hour Later

One of my crew members said that he saw a pink body within the trees. I dismissed the idea at first, but I saw it myself later. Then the rest of my crew saw it and we began chasing it. We had never seen any living thing that color before. Even Pokemon of that color do not exist. The Pokemon started giggling and flew beyond a layer of trees. I looked down in defeat. A new being had been seen! A chance for discovery lost. Then I noticed a pack of food and medicine in a patch of grass. I cheered up and told my crew to set up camp.

8 P.M.

I began thinking of the being. What, or who, was it? A Pokemon? A machine? I sat around our campfire thinking. Then I heard a short, pleasant "Mew!" I look to my right to find the same pink being, carrying food with what seemed to be psychic powers of a Pokemon.

July 10th
It was time for us to leave the island by helicopter. During the past week we had christened the Pokemon Mew due to its fair cries. When we asked Mew to come with us for research purposes, it did not hesitate to fly into the helicopter. To Cinnabar Island!
