I didn't see any special signature moves super noteworthy included. What I did notice is that Zeraora, Heatran and Darkrai signature moves were missing.

If that was the case I would assume the data would have significantly less information rather than what appears to be all relevant move list information.

My assumption would be those mega stones are simply inaccessible and planned for future release, where they'll pair it with an update when they become relevant. Incidentally I see that Blaze Kick & Muddy Water are also not present

oh it was and it is by far the most infamous one lol

leakers gave us a real description for all of them except that one in which all we got were memes, shitposts, and doomposting

one notable thing about the teraleak descriptions is that the one for Chesnaught is different than the actual mega Chesnaught we got, they changed a few details including a color apparently

I somehow avoided the leaks outside of the Gen 5 Megas. So a lot of it is news to me lol.

I guess that means no Typlosion, and some starting Pokemon will be missing despite some of the others from their generation being present.

3 of those are locked behind online battles (& conspicuously at the end of the list). I don't think even in Japanese this would align with the alphabet either.

Anyway, if I'm reading this right...I think Zygarde going mega will be exclusive to the 50% Form? That should be Zygarde 0. Zygarde 4 would be Complete (iirc in the main games 0 = 50% Aura Break, 1 = 10% Aura Break, 2 = 50% Power Construct, 3 = 10% Power Construct) but there's not another listing to account for 10% turning Complete or Mega.

Technically this would just mean that Mega Zygarde-5 just reverts to Zygarde-0 in most cases if you hack it in a slot directly iirc. I don't think we can say anything about how it works the other way around in practice.

yeah I think it just reverts to snake, unless they like randomly changed which zygardes are which

I assumed that we would need to have it on complete zygarde because the trailers and previews showed us following the dog around and collecting the little zygardes, but who knows
 
Ok but setting aside the obvious the list of base game Mega recipients is absolute gas. It did exactly what it needed to, overwhelmingly focusing on a barrage of Unova and Kalos Megas as well as mixing between long-time requested fan favorites* and weirder picks (Pyroar is one of the more inspired choices imo; it was the one Kalos original that always stuck out to me as needing a revisit). My only complaint is that I wish we had a new meme shitmon like Beedrill and Lopunny getting to join in - I would've either traded out Skarmory for Ariados or one of the Unova guys with Watchog

*except for flygon lol ripbozo, at least until mega dimension
