I do not know for certain, so someone who does can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that only AZ's Floette can Mega Evolve.I assume this special one is shiny locked, but assume all can mega evolve.

Possibly! Certainly be the easiest way but, you never know. They’ll probably just keep the damage thing like Basculin has. They seem to regret adding so many location based evolutions in the past so I think they’ll just not bother with it.
Haha! I knew it. I bet they try and shove those out the door before the DLC drops. Going to be a very high paced couple of monthse: Anubis has said that the mewtwo/Diancie mega stones will be mystery gifts
I assume in the box it will still be called "Floette" but will be more powerful. Seems like it has a higher BST, and has Light of Ruin. Regular ones do not have Light of Ruin in the move pool. I assume this special one is shiny locked, but assume all can mega evolve.

Bit surprised they didn't name the mega stone to incorporate "eternal" somewhere in there.
Yeah it's the same as when it "existed" in gen 6 & 7.
The other Floettes cannot mega evolve

Speaking of Mega Stone names, that's not on the Google doc. What are the names of the stones for the officially-revealed Megas, especially Dragonite? For what it’s worth, I really liked your “Floetternalite” suggestion.![]()

Looks like my subconscious seems to understand better than my conscious when a vowel-ending mon name gets followed by -nite and when it instead gets truncated to get the usual -ite suffix, because I correctly assumed Greninjite and Hawluchanite but do not know the logic consciously. Must be a vibes thing.Edit: Oh you said just the officially revealed ones. In that case:
Victreebelite
Dragonitite
Chesnaughtite
Delphoxite
Greninjite
Malamarite
Hawluchanite
Since I already typed it up, I’ll keep the list of Mega Stone names for all of the leaked Megas here for anyone who wants to know:
Clefablite
Victreebelite
Starminite
Dragonitite
Meganiumite
Feraligite
Skarmorite
Froslassite
Emboarite
Excadrite
Scraftinite
Scolipite
Eelektrossite
Chandelurite
Chesnaughtite
Delphoxite
Greninjite
Pyroarite
Floettite
Malamarite
Barbaracite
Dragalgite
Hawluchanite
Zygardite
Drampanite
Falinksite
I don’t think you can start the quests until you bring the mega stones to certain characters.Mewtwo and Diancie mega stones appear to be event distributions. I assume the Pokemon themselves can be captured day 1.
Thank you! How does Zygarde not get any heavier while holding a gigantic nuke?Yeah, either on Serbii.net or here https://github.com/projectpokemon/za-textport/blob/main/English/personal.txt
Funny for me, M-AZ Floette's flower weights over 100 kg
Probably because said nuke is made of all the cells that used to make up its arms and tail and large chunks of its body, wings, and legs.Thank you! How does Zygarde not get any heavier while holding a gigantic nuke?
Is there any in-game explaination how Drampa and Falinks ended up in Kalos?

the worst starter of johto
Suppose that makes sense. Only thing regular Floettes have on it is able to be shiny. At least for the time being. Suppose it will exist like Battle Bond Greninja going forward.
There's an actual explination?! It's a kind off weird one, but I'm buying it because any reason for Pokemon from other regions to start appearing makes more sense then ORAS's excuse. (How did so many Pokmeon who can't fly or swim suddenly start appearing on an island region?)I don’t know if they get any more specific to explain those two in particular, but the underlying premise of the game’s setting is that
after the Team Flare crisis five years prior, people began moving out of Lumiose in droves, while Pokémon began to move in, being attracted to a device within Prism Tower that responded to the ultimate weapon’s activation. The mayor contracted Quasartico to help rehabilitate the city’s image while accommodating the newly migrated Pokémon.
You can probably assume that Drampa and Falinks just happened to be among the species that migrated over, and frankly, Pokémon seem to migrate quite often anyway even without magic devices drawing them in, so I don’t think there would necessarily need to be any overt explanation.
A friend just told me "only a hot evil dude could convince me to get the game at this point." Does anyone have a screenshot of? Or I guess whoever the game's villain is, assuming they're male?Lysandre

Wait... That bit about Quasartico... Does that mean that Quasartico is why there's the Pokemon version of the Purge every night? I don't have spoilers on who's supposed to be evil, but I'm pretty sure causing the Purge makes you evil even if you aren't supposed to be the bad guys. :P
Now the stone arch you have to go under is randomized, it has to be holding a Burn Heal, and you need to do a frame-perfect 3/59ths of an A-PressOh I just realized, with Runerigus being in the DLC, I wonder how the evolution method would be updated. I kind of figured, since it was partially location-based, they would just have it be through a Dusk Stone. But maybe they keep the HP-loss portion somehow. Could also put SOMEWHERE in Hyperspace Lumiose that causes its traditional evolution method (the hyperspace museum, maybe), I suppose.
The cursed version is you literally can't, ala Kleavor (& company), so it becomes somehow even worse than normal because any Galarian Yamask brought into the game will be 100% stuck.
Hey actually, on that subject, I completely forgot Galarian Slowpoke is here
They did remember to give a way to get Twigs/Cuffs/Wreaths right?
