And since I do not primarily write in english here's how it looks like when I'm writting in my native language ( quality is also a hella lot better ).

^^^ If you're curious, I was taking notes as my teacher dissected a bull's reproductive system right in front of me :u

Corrin I also write in the mythical cursive, which people seem to have a hard time reading. I only use print for ALL CAPS words, such as acronyms.

megaqwer:D I like how that handwriting looks as well. It seems that there are more people that use cursive than I thought!

Lol, It's nice to see that u liked my handwriting :) (My teachers dont -.-),.On the other hand, we were like kinda given to practice cursives for hours, so i still remember some of it ig...

So i've been eyeing this thread off for a while and it seems pretty cool -- i've always liked writing and as my work becomes more and more digital it's a bit sad that I don't get a chance to write too much. So when I do, I always try to make the most of it.

I hope the OP doesn't mind if I stray a bit away from the original purpose of the thread -- handwriting -- and see if anyone has any favourite writing instruments, such as pens, pencils, calligraphy kits, etc? I have always had a thing for nice pens -- I have about 20 or so which have sentimental value -- like my green felt-tip pen ($5 but used it in every accounting/law exam I did in uni -- brought me good luck). I have also recently started collecting other, more valuable pens over recent years and love to write with them -- I have a box full of ink jars as I like being able to change the colours (generally shades of blue) to suit my mood.

My most recent purchase (Aurora - Dante Alighieri "Inferno") is a limited edition one (1,265 made to celebrate the birth year of Dante) which I was after since 2012. I never thought i'd see one in person let alone own it so, after a layby, saving hard it is finally mine.

Anyway, here are the pics

Handwriting -- w/ 3 of my favourite pens

The pens themselves -- ignore the size for some reason the camera angle makes them seem much bigger/thicker than they are. The bottom two are actually the same size and not that big.

I know I'm very late to the party, but I must say that I really liked the handwriting of Anto, antemortem, Mq and Maximum Optimizer!

My tardy contribution -

Well, I like mine, but sometimes I take too long to write (that's one of the reasons why I hate dictations :x).

Waaaaaay late to this, but I do love my Mont Blanc Henry E. Steinway fountain pen. I was never that into the piano, but I do like the design of the pen. Been using Mont Blanc's Lavender Purple ink to go with it since I got it just 'cause it's my favorite colour. Also have a set of StarWalker roller ball (Mystery Black ink for everyday use) and ball point pen (India Orange/Nightfire Red) to go with it. My writing is horrendous though, gotta work on that.

Writing with a good pencil or fineliner is a really satisfying feeling due to the slight tug you get as you move them across the paper and they aren't messy like fountain pens/quills. I don't like Biros and ballpoint pens because they slip and slide as you move them on the paper, and as such you feel like you have way less control over one relative to a pencil/fineliner.
