The Sans Undertale vs. Sans Deltarune justaposition is quite jarring.
It's been a month and this guy is tantalizing me so much. I used to think that he will never appear officially anywhere but the epilogue of chapter 4 and the Roaring Knight appearing so early has me genuinely believe that Gaster will appear in some way
Thinking about how work on Deltarune started before Undertale, the entire mystery around Gaster throughout Undertale and every Deltarune chapter seems like build up
If you look super closely at the titan (from ch4) it kinda looks like gaster's face. From experience it helps to focus on the "mouth" area and the eyes kinda turn up when they're out of focus.
Guys I have a wild theory regarding Gaster. Getting straight to the point, there are multiple Gasters. Long story short, my idea is that when Gaster was "shattered across space and time", he was literally shattered into multiple pieces, which are or are associated with the narrator at the beginning (the scientist), the knight (the darkness), and the egg man (the forgotten).
I have evidence for this ranging from solid to a stretch but I'll leave it at this for now

whatever your justifications are for this can be very easily branched into "gaster is papyrus" so keep that in mind

so 2026 is around the corner and chapter 5 will release there. I don't think it will occur in Asgore's flowershop, I think it will occur during the festival and that all of hometown will be involved in it. It would also make sense that chapter 5 is like Snowdin, which is also a small cute town like hometown is. And I think we'll go to the shelter in chapter 5, I think it's very likely like the true lab in Undertale, which was accessed through Snowdin
