Dragonite
Level: 50
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake / Fire Blast
- Agility
- Roost

Dragonite has risen to be a premier late-game cleaner with the discovery of Agility's effectiveness. After a boost Dragonite outspeeds the entire metagame, and its great bulk in combination with reliable recovery means it can set up safely versus Pokémon that lack strong super effective coverage despite its weakness to Stealth Rock. Dragonite's Outrage is one of the strongest unboosted attacks in the entire game and has great neutral coverage that makes it quite spammable after a boost, while Dragonite's wide movepool means that it has no trouble hitting Outrage's resistances hard with its second slot. Fire Blast may seem more appealing when focusing on Melmetal and Alolan Sandslash, but it comes at the cost of a lower neutral damage output and shaky accuracy. Dragonite's role can also extend to mid-game, where Earthquake and Roost let it act as a bulky wallbreaker that can deal with common choices such as Alolan Muk. Be careful when using Outrage, as healthy answers can pick off Dragonite easily in return.

The major thing I'd mention is that Earthquake and Roost are the big reasons why Dragonite can work mid game: Roost ensures it'll make use of its good bulk, and Earthquake, despite the lack of STAB, still hits pretty hard since 130 Base Attack is freaking huge for a non mega in Let's Go!

I forget, is mentioning its flaws outside the scope of the spotlight? If not, maybe mentioning the drawbacks of Outrage is a good idea, since it limits Dragonite's wall breaking capabilities when Melmetal and Alolan Sandslash can punish it so hard when Outrage is used too soon.

Ezaphs can you implement the above?

Theorymon also mentioning flaws is ok provided its worded well enough, instead of saying something like "however outrage makes it so blah blah blah" maybe something like "be careful when using outrage not to blah blah blah" or "teammates like blah blah blah can help with pokemon that usually take advantage of dragonites outrage" or something along those lines, just dont make it feel negative, because its a spotlight afterall.

After a boost Dragonite outspeeds the entire metagame, and its great bulk in combination with reliable recovery means it can set up safely versus Pokémon that lack strong supereffective super effective coverage for it despite its weakness to Stealth Rock. Dragonite's Outrage is one of the strongest unboosted attacks in the entire game and has great neutral coverage that makes it quite spammable after a boost, while its Dragonite's wide movepool means that it has no trouble hitting Outrage's resistances Pokemon that resist it hard with its second slot. Fire Blast may seem more appealing when focusing on the first two answers, (don't really get what this is referring to) but it comes at the cost of a lower neutral damage output and shaky accuracy. Dragonite's role can also extend to mid-game, (AC) where Earthquake and Roost let it act as a bulky wallbreaker that can deal with common choices such as Alolan Muk. Be careful when using Outrage, (AC) as healthy resistances ("resistances" doesn't really work here and "switch-ins" / "answers" / "Pokemon that resist it" is more correct, not a biiiig deal if it stays though if those are too clunky or awkward) such as Melmetal and Alolan Sandslash can pick of Dragonite easily in return.
