[OVERVIEW]

Lilligant's access to Quiver Dance and Sleep Powder, decent Special Attack, and Speed are offset by its mediocre bulk, movepool, and typing. Lilligant struggles to set up, and even when it does, common Pokemon such as Togedemaru, Dhelmise, Decidueye, and Alolan Exeggutor can deal with it. Moreover, it's extremely prediction reliant, as Breakneck Blitz can only be used once, leaving it susceptible to threats like Incineroar if used at the wrong time. As a Quiver Dance user, it suffers competition from Vivillon, which has a better offensive movepool and typing, giving it more setup opportunities against threats like Passimian choice locked into Close Combat. Lastly, it is hard to justify over other, more reliable Grass-types like Sceptile, which is faster and more immediately threatening due to its movepool and ability to run a boosting item, and Whimsicott, which has a better typing, is faster, and has numerous utility options.

[SET]
name: Quiver Dance
move 1: Quiver Dance
move 2: Sleep Powder / Hidden Power Ground
move 3: Giga Drain / Energy Ball
move 4: Hyper Beam
item: Normalium Z
ability: Chlorophyll
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

With this set, Lilligant acts as a setup sweeper thanks to Quiver Dance and Sleep Powder, although its typing doesn't give it a lot of setup opportunities, while its shallow movepool and typing mean that it often finds itself forced out by threats like Incineroar, Alolan Exeggutor, Sigilyph, and Weezing, although they don't appreciate taking a boosted Breakneck Blitz. Decidueye and Dhelmise are especially problematic, as they completely wall it. Moreover, this set is better done by Vivillon, which has a better offensive typing and movepool while still having access to Sleep Powder, letting it bypass checks more reliably.

Looks fine, maybe add a couple more examples just to beef it up, e.g Dhelmise / Decidueye hard-wall it, and it's tough to justify using over superior Grass-types like Sceptile, Dhelmise, Whimsicott because of x, y and, z. QC 1/2

there are a lot of basic grammatical errors such as missing commas and improper word usage (ie setup vs set up), so try to fix those before sending to gp. qc 2/2 once done

ok so like.... i don't exactly claim to be an NU expert and i know this is a mini but... i kinda feel like some of the problems mentioned in the analysis could be fixed by simply running Hidden Power Fire??? Going through your VR i can only find like one target for Hidden Power Ground that doesn't get obliterated by Z-Hyper Beam (Togedemaru), Which also gets hit pretty hard by Hidden Power Fire. Fire 2HKOs Dhelmise and the offensive Decidueye mentioned onsite on the switch after Stealth Rock (although Decidueye is a roll), and on top of that it doesn't really seem like the onsite Decidueye sets can do much back to you other than U-turn out for like 50% which seems like kind of an awkward situation to be in to me.

I'm sorry i just don't see why it's not at least mentioned somewhere considering it patches up some of the problems mentioned in the analysis at the cost of not hitting Togedemaru quite as hard. Seems like a decent option.

[OVERVIEW]

Lilligant's access to Quiver Dance and Sleep Powder, decent Special Attack,(AC) and Speed are offset by its mediocre bulk, movepool, and typing. This means that (this beginning doesn't really work here imo; sounds super awkward) Lilligant struggles to set up, and even when it does, common Pokemon such as Togedemaru, Dhelmise, Decidueye, and Alolan Exeggutor can deal with it. Moreover, it's extremely prediction reliant, as Breakneck Blitz can only be used once, and, if used at the wrong time, leaves leaving it susceptible to threats like Incineroar if used at the wrong time. As a Quiver Dance user, it suffers from competition from Vivillon, which has a better offensive movepool and typing, making it significantly harder to switch into (I don't see what Vivillon's typing has to do with it being difficult to switch into? you could talk about how Bug / Flying gives it some more opportunities to set up, such as vs CC locked Passimian). Lastly, it is hard to justify over other, more reliable Grass-types like Sceptile, which is marginally faster (Sceptile is significantly faster than pre-boost Lilligant lol), is stronger, and has a better movepool, and Whimsicott, which has a better typing, is faster, and has numerous utility options.

gp 1/1 once done, altho i'll still have to check qc related comments post implementation

Btw Lilligant's base special attack is actually slightly higher than Sceptile's (105 vs 110), so i don't know about calling it stronger than Lilligant in the overview. The only reason why Sceptile hits harder is that it can run a boosting item/runs higher BP moves, while Lilligant *really* wants to run Giga Drain and Z, might want to be a bit more specific there.
