Limewire vs Mewtwo15026 [Rofl]

It appears there was a malfunction with the stadium that resulted in too much sand being put onto the battlefield. The problem has been rectified though, and so the trainers send back out their Pokemon and begin!

Also noted - Trace is a Can be Activated, which means it does take an action according to the data thread.

Ralts Gordon (M)
Nature: Adamant (Attack up by *, Sp. Atk. down by *.)

Gordon is a rather quiet boy. He doesn't say much, but when he does speak, he always says the right thing. Guess that's the upside of being an empath. Conversely, the fact that he picks up so much malice from the air around him must burn him on the inside. Maybe that's why he's quiet. Maybe it's because he's not looking forward to evolution; after all, guys NEVER look good in short skirts.

He's not saying, though...

Type: Psychic
Psychic:
Psychic STAB;
less susceptible to blinding
more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks
can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference
Disable, Focus Blast and Recover have Energy Cost reduced by one (1). Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Gabite, even after the break, seems intent on throwing all of his weight around. He randomly crashes into Flarelm in an Outrage, dealing significant damage. Ralts stares intently at the collision and picks up on how Gabite moves - not only has she gained an evasion chance in the sandstorm, she is now immune to it for 6 actions! Flarelm has had enough of this random flailing and finally picks Gabite off with a Giga Drain, restoring a tiny bit of health on the KO. Clowncrete sees his friend fall and summons a pile of sandy rocks that pummel both Balsamus and Gordon, knocking Balsamus out and dealing a hefty bow to Gordon.

Two Pokemon now stand on the field, alone. Gordon, at least comparitively to Clowcrete, shoots out into seemingly nowhere. Clowcrete catches a short glimpse of him but whiffs his Payback attack to the much faster, adept in the sand, quickly moving Shadow Sneak of Gordon, who pops up behind Clowcrete and hits him with a Confusion! While it deals a heavy blow, the Timburr has enough power this time to swing around and smash Gordon with a heavy Drain Punch, healing himself of some earlier-gained wounds.

Sorry for the wait. Please check the numbers - I'm on Vicodin as a write this lol. weeeeeeee

I've never had Vicodin, but my cousin did. They had to take him out the back door. XD

Novocain was pretty fun, though. I looked like a stroke patient.

OK, Gordon, I think we have this. First, Disable Payback. You don't want to be taking any of those at all. Next, hide in the sand and Calm your Mind. Finish with a high-power Confusion attack!

Oh blast, we're at a type disadvantage!

Alright Clowncrete. I want you to Bulk Up as that pesky Ralts disables Payback. Then, fire off a Drain Punch at it. It may not be super-effective, but with Ralts' pitiful defense and your Bulk Up, who knows? Finally, take that Confusion like a man, and ram into Ralts with a Stone Edge!

Ralts senses danger in the vicinity. Evil seems to be lurking behind Clowncrete's eyes. As a protective measure, Ralts Disables Payback, significantly changing the way Clowncrete views the world. He feels better about himself and takes the time to Bulk Up his muscles. Ralts sees this and Calms his Mind again in anticipation of forthcoming attacks. He's the strong, silent type. Timburr has none of this and smacks the little Ralts with a Drain Punch, healing himself in the process. This is enough to rile up Ralts a bit, and he sends a Confusion attack a Timburr that hits it for super effective damage. Somehow Timburr recovers to hit the deft-in-the-sand Ralts with a Stone Edge that knocks Gordon back a bit, and loses his old train of thought about Gabite and Sand Veil.

EDIT: Oh wait, I forgot about that >_< Never mind Rolf.

Yes! We can do this Clowcrete! Stone Edge is pretty risky to use if it misses, and you can't Payback either. Soo...

Rock Slide ~ Drain Punch ~ Rock Slide.

But wait! If that dastardly Ralts Disables Rock Slide, replace the third action with Stone Edge instead.

Isn't it a 3v3 Doubles? Both of you have had 2 Pokemon KO'd... maybe I'm just missing something big? o.o

You're doing great, Gordon! Only a little more...

First, use Confusion to lift Clowncrete by its ankle and hopefully throw off the Rock Slide. Next, Teleport behind it to dodge the Drain Punch. Finish the round with a nice, strong Confusion; hopefully, Jirachi will be on our side!

The two Pokemon hop right back at it for the next round! The slightly quicker Ralts again sends Confusing mind rays at the Timburr, but he overcomes the attack and smacks Gordon with a Rock Slide that pins him to the ground. Ralts doesn't mind though, and as Timburr advances to Drain Punch him, he Teleports back behind Timburr to smack it with another Confusion. Timburr turns and again buries the Ralts in rocks. The sandstorm is still raging, hurting both Pokemon at this point. Both look very exhausted though.

Note that Disable is still active on Payback iirc, but Calm Mind ought have faded.

CREATE 4 DOUBLE TEAM CLONES AND SURROUND CLOWNCRETE.
Make sure YOU, at least, know where the real you is.
Next, use Confusion and jar Clowncrete into one of your clones. Or two, since you'll be using this for 2 actions in a row.

Good game, Limewire! :D

Clowncrete, at a massive speed and with a loud pop, knocks Ralts into the air, knocking it out! Limewire wins!

Counters:
1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC to swampert, flarelm, and ralts
1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC to gabite, starmie, and timburr
2 TC to each trainer
KOC to swampert(1), gabite(1), flarelm(1), timburr(2)
6 RC for me!

fun battle!

Same to you, Limewire! I guess this is revenge for my abandoning your battle with Lord Jesseus XD

Any movepool suggestions for Gordon? I was thinking Psychic, but I don't want to have to wait for the awesome moves he'll get after evolving.
