While he was able to block the Leech Seed attempt and lower Tangela's Speed, Pluffle ate a lot of damage from the two Sludge Bombs and wasn't able to deal nearly as much back, not to mention the poison that kicked in as well. The battle just started though, and with the speed drop Pluffle could absolutely make a solid comeback.

One one hand, Pluffle was able to set up a Wish while Tangela wasted Protect, and was able to sufficiently taunt the opposing side (probably something about its mother and elderberries). On the other hand, Tangela was Biding when Pluffle used a powerful combination and the energy absorbed from it will be releasing any second now with Pluffle on cooldown. Call me Thanos cause I think the results of the next turn are inevitable.

...That kind of felt like overkill. Did anyone else think that was overkill? At least the pose Tangela made was majestic. Now we have to clean up all this stuffing everywhere. cbrevan sends out his precious Mumbao and prepares a sludgy assault onto the weakened Tangela...but Mumbao can't use Sludge Bomb and just rushes at it a bunch. This gives Tangela the chance to be able to hurl a bunch of sludge at it 'till the fairy drops, although Tangela completely exhausts itself in the process, resulting in a double KO. Both trainers now have to send out again, although it is clear now that cbrevan has an uphill battle from here on out. This is why we double check our movepools lads.

Skull Bash is a scarily good move against a physical attacker like Floatoy, and nightblitz is making full use of it to its fullest. With a well-mixed assault of offensive striking power and defensive fortitude, Floatoy isn't able to deal nearly as much damage as it would like to with Liquidation and depleting both his health and energy fast. cbrevan is going to have to play smart to come out on top here.
