Little Cup, if anyone still plays it

Bronzor @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 220 HP/4 Atk/228 Def
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Light Screen

Generally good lead. Main defence against Cranidos etc as scarfed Mold Breaker EQ won't be too hard to predict around.

Exeggcute (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 196 HP/116 Def/196 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Wish
- Energy Ball
- Hypnosis

Lovely little supporter, this. Ground resist is always useful, as are Hypnosis and Wish. Can also come in fairly well against Cranidos.

Clamperl (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 236 HP/244 SAtk
Quiet nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Well, it doesn't have Deepseatooth. It's not meant to do much besides take sleep and be a bulky water.

Munchlax (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 156 HP/116 Def/236 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Return
- Zen Headbutt
- Curse
- Rest

I'm sorry Smogon, but I just don't see any point at all in banning Pokémon above a certain WEIGHT. Anyway, this is an incredible special wall, but I'll remove it if there are too many objections.

Porygon @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
EVs: 236 HP/36 Def/236 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Recover
- Tri Attack
- Thunderbolt

Not entirely sure what this does, but it's bulky and Trace helps a lot. It can sweep to some extent and gives a healthy supply of extra Trick Room.

Trapinch (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 236 HP/196 Atk/76 SDef
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Quick Attack

I felt like having a little more power and this is something I've wanted to use for a while. Comes in to revenge kill or on a Thunderbolt and ends things.

I'm pretty sure I'm walled by Lileep and all forms of Spikes are proving to be problematic. Suggestions, please.

EDIT: There's no point in using item clause either, so I've gone against that.

Leftovers recovery is not that much in the Little Cup, and in the Little Cup Item Clause is a Standard Rule
certainly that's the case for Clamperl who's better off with the deep sea tooth (or even the scale if you want sp.def boost).

You are right that leftovers don't do much on Level-5's; in fact, due to an average HP of 20, they recover only 1 HP (save for the likes of, say, Igglybuff, who have 32 or more HP on Level 5, who recover 2). If there's only one Pokémon who could use the lefties, it would (probably) be the Munchlax.

I didn't take that into account and I didn't know Deepseatooth wasn't banned. But someone tell me the point in item clause existing in Little Cup.

Items will be changed, anyhow.

Interesting, my recent TR LC team has 4 Pokemon the same as this.
Anyway you will want Hypnosis on Bronzor, and get rid of ALL leftovers they suck compared to Oran Berry or in the case of Clamperl a Deapsea item.
If Clamperl is just to stop sleep try Murkrow with Insomnia.
Try Tangala over Eggscute.

You will need at least 1 fast scarfer or once TR goes down so many things will sweep you.

People do play LC, mostly on the CaP server, here is the thread:

Item Clause is NOT used by most people, Smogon's guide is out of date.

and little battles place no restrictions on the Pokémon's weights. You were probably thinking generation I's Petit Cup, which placed the weight restriction of 44lbs, and even the height/length restriction of 6'8". But the little cup has no restrictions on height or weight, just the following:

Pokémon that can hatch from eggs and are capable of evolving into, but not from, other Pokémon.

So certainly no size-based restrictions; even Onix satisfies the above criterion, so certainly Munchlax does.

You are right. The Oran berries are much better than leftovers on Level-5's; they recover 10 HP when the average HP for a Level-5 is 20. To an even greater extent, Sitrus berries are even better; they recover 30 HP. Even Munchlax (and Pokémon in that HP area in general for that matter) are fully recovered by the Sitrus berry.

Edit: What was I thinking Sitrus? Check bulbapedia (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net) or something for sitrus in DP. I was thinking RS when Sitrus recovered exactly 30 HP in those games, and in fact in generation III in general. I now don't think that's the case in generation IV.

Munchlax is not banned the only Pokemon banned in the Little Cup is Scyther and Yanma and right now under discussion is Sneasal.

Sitrus was changed to recovery only 25% of max HP.
Thanks for verifying that for me, Shupo. So Oran berries are much better here.
Look at the
