Just posting to bump this up.

And that will Murkrow still be OU in LC? Its hellishly hard to counter. It's like Garchomp in LC. Takes some sacrificing Pokemons to counter it.
There is a discussion about the possibility of banning Murkrow Here, I think once next months usage stats are out we will probably make a final choice.

And EH its Murkrow, Natu, and Aipom.

I totally forgot that this thread existed.

Anyhow, I'm not sure on what people think of Murkrow, but I think he'll just miss being banned, personally.

If any Pokemon gets a new evo in Platinum and now fits the qualifications for LC, it will be allowed unless proved broken by testing.

If the new Pokemon is an alternate form then Rotom will not be allowed.

Question:

On the Teddiursa set, "Quick Feet Sweeper," wouldn't a Flame Orb be a more viable option to that of Toxic Orb? I only ask because both will activate the Quick Feet Ability as well as boosting the already STAB'd Facade; however, with Toxic Orb, the damage will increase after every turn, while the Flame Orb damage stays as a constant.

Flame Orb would still halve Teddiursa's attack (Quick Feet doesn't prevent that) so Toxic Orb is the superior option.

Oh, you are correct. I was neglecting the fact that it halved the Attack Stat. I was under the impression that abilities affected by whether or not the pokemon has a status negated the status' effects (similar to that of Guts).

Also, if Teddiurse is only in battle for a couple of turns before switching, I think the damage from Toxic Orb would be less than that of the Flame Orb.

Toxic Orb inflicts regular poison.

No it doesn't....

One could also argue that Toxic Orb is better if a Pokémon is planning on staying in for 3 turns or less, as for that short a time it does the same or less damage percentage wise. this is especially true since damage rounds down and Little Cup stats are so small.
