Imanalt, plays the sand team. Ideally the best play style for Landorus-I, but not many are confident with Tyranitar's Sand Stream. Although Imanalt has definitely kept his options open with it. Except for Dragonite everyone else in his team is immune to sand. And with noone on Vrin's team to disrupt it, Imanalt dares to play the style and command this tournament from the start.

Vrin the rookie has been turning quite a few heads with his strategic plays of Porygon and some even feel that his style is similar to a Senior ASBer the Avesome Avnomke. He has brought Gengar, Togekiss and Colossoil to put pressure on Imanalt, But will Vrin's diversity be able to conquer Imanalt's sheer force? and will he be able to prove the rumors wrong and carve a niche for himself in this tourney? Lets wait and see.

Also, if you guys haven't wagered yet, this is a battle where you can get some really good odds; should you win that is.

Togekiss @ Scope Lens

Assuming alt leads with Tyranitar (which I expect because Flying type, though Lando isn't totally out of the question), the crits can at least sorta make up for the spdef boost to rock types in sand.

I'm already screwed

Ttar w/ expert belt (idr if i still have to activate sand stream, do so if i do)
Stone edge, rock slide, stone edge
If reflect, focus energy that action (only once)
If fly and i have no active substitute, substitute (15)
If damaging fighting type combo, protect

Round 1: No way Jose!:

Vrin makes sure that Tyranitar doesn't land a single hit and yet expends half its energy, Meanwhile, Togekiss lets loose a powerful Aura Sphere at the Rocky Monster. With sandstorm active and in a situation to take the brunt for one more round, will Imanalt find a way out of this debacle? Or will he land himself on a pickle?

Stay tuned folks, Vrin has come into this tournament with a Vroom and looks like he is going to broom away Imanalt's dream in a spin.

Round 2: Eat Rocks! Flinch Bird!:

Enough of setup, lets bash 'em says Imanalt as he decides to wreck havoc on the Fairy Bird with majestic rocks. Vrin did not expect such an onslaught and regretted to have not gone the flinch hax route. Imanalt was extremely lucky not to miss any of his moves and may be Vrin doesn't have the luck of the Fairy God Mothers yet as his D.S. is new to them?

But the powerful hits have left Imanalt open for one action. What will Vrin do to utilize this break?

A setup?
or go for the kill?
We will have to wait and see.

My Bad guys, fixed the Round and Vrin has sent out. Imanalt please order away and this battle would proceed normally.

I reffed the second round during class, and I fucked up. Will make sure I don't ref until after class, especially tournament ones. [Rain's invaluable Advice]

Round 4: The Drill Runs!:

Vrin tries to save as much damage and get his Colossoil out of the match up and seems to be successful? Imanalt tried to toggle Pixilate to make his Normal attacks stay Normal, But Mega Altaria felt that she better use the default effect against the dark type driller.

Now that we know who is going to come in from Vrin's side, the question that would be intriguing us is what does Imanalt have in-store for the Ghost? Or is he actually ready to face the Shadow Tagging Poisonous blob of Gaseous Ghost that is going to float into the battle field?

Imanalt will probably stall out a Round of assault to bring in his Legend against the poisonous ghost. But it would seem that Mega Altaria is in a bit of a tense situation, in this match up of Megas.

Round 5: Furry Dragon Escapes the Inevitable! For now...

Vrin tries something and fails, Imanalt sees the opening and sets himself up. 25 HP Substitute may seem too much to certain folks, but if it helps to avoid a SE hit then why not?

Imanalt is trying his best to stay in the game and it looks like the momentum is shifting back on his side. This battle has seen momentum shift every other round. But the deciding round would be the next one, who would dazzle away? Stay subbed!

That was bad but it's a Gengar so I'm fine.

Skill Swap (Pixilate - Nothing) ~ Hyper Beam ~ Reflect Type
This is gimmicky as all hell.

Round 6: "I am a Dragon too, A Scarry Dragon!" says Gengar!

Imanalt positions himself to take advantage of his momentum from last round and Vrin tries his best to refute it by ordering his Ghost to Mimic a Fairy, but not before swapping the ability that every fairy wants. PIXILATE!

And with one powerful pixilated hyper beam, Mega Gengar blows Mega Altaria's Substitute away and gets ready for a final showdown against the Fairry Furry Dragon, who would definitely miss her stolen ability now.

But with the second to order advantage, it is more likely to see the mimicing fairy falling down. Anything could still happen in the following round as Imanalt might have had the fairy luck working for him till now, but Vrin now has a fairy himself.

Well... Not really.
