Analysis:

Though not a forgotten Pokemon in the aesthetics department, Lopunny is commonly disregarded in the competitive spectrum. It's stats and subpar typing may support this, but its good support movepool gives it some options to work with. Suprisingly, Lopunny does have something going for it. It is the only Pokemon in the game with access to Klutz + Switcheroo (or any item-swapping move for that matter). This gives it a unique niche in the metagame which lets it cripple any defensive Pokemon for the rest of the match.

In the lower tiers, Lopunny can function as a Baton Passer or a weather inducer with a pseudo immunity with Limber.

Klutz and switcheroo is certainly a niche, but not that much of one. If I wanted a normal type trick user, even porygon-z would be more useful.

Lopunny doesn't do anything after it tricks. It's a "one-trick punny".

No, that's not the point. I'm saying that its niche isn't useful enough. Klutz + trick is good, but trick + the ability to kill stuff is better. That's what rotom and even porygon-z offer.

That's why it's a one-trick punny.
