Lord Jesseus vs. Limewire in the Rotting Junkyard! (ref=mewtwo15026)

Well, over the break, Lord Jesseus sent out Iota the Gastly and raped Thundah from the other side of the pile of crap with Night Shade. -7 Energy. Woo.

I'll post specs and whatnot next update. We know that both Pokemon will be in peak condition. Well, Iota'll be at 93 Energy, but that's not that big a deal.

Iota gets a KO Counter. Limewire needs to send out another Pokemon. Once he does, it's LJ's turn to act.

Dragons eh? What a nuisance.

Ok start off with a nice healthy STAB shadow Ball. Then try some mind games with Confuse Ray. Then we can finish up with another Shadow Ball. If he tries anything Outrageous, Disable that shit, because it WILL fuck you up.

Shadow Ball~Confuse Ray~Shadow Ball
Drop next action for Disable if he uses Outrage

Thank goodness Dig still hits Pokemon with Levitate!

Start out with a Dragon Rage. Use Dig to dodge his Confuse Ray (and try to hit him, but if you can't its okay. Your first priority is to avoid Confuse Ray) and finish off with Sandstorm.

We’re back with the next face-off here at the Rotting Junkyard! Squaring off in the center of the arena are Iota the Gastly and Chomper the Gible!

I’m beginning to notice a theme in Lord Jesseus’s nicknames, Raichu. Are these Pokemon all in fraternities and sororities?

No, Mewtwo, I think they’re obscure mathematical constants.

Ew. Math. Let’s talk about Pokemon. There are some battling!

Indeed there are, Mewtwo. Iota kicks things off by firing a nasty-looking Shadow Ball at Chomper!

Another stylishly zig-zagging Shadow Ball! These guys definitely learn from the masters.

Chomper gets up and shakes the dust off itself, and boy, she looks mad!

So does that blue fireball she just fired at Iota! A real Dragon Rage attack! We don’t even have to guess the damage THAT did. Hey, by the way, I think the angry face might be a side-effect of the Shadow Ball’s vile influence.

Not a bad guess, Mewtwo…What’s that weird glow coming from Iota? It seems to be aiming it in Chomper’s direction…

That’s a Confuse Ray for sure, Raichu…and it seems to have backfired! Iota has no idea where Chomper is!

Um…we don’t, either, Mewtwo.

Oh. Erm. Right.

Wait—if the trash slowly rising beneath Iota is any indicator, we know now! Chomper Digs out and slams into Iota, angry as ever!

Iota’s Levitate can’t save it from THAT super-effective shot, Raichu! That has GOT to hurt!

Now that the shock of the attack has worn off, Iota looses another Shadow Ball right at the land shark.

That looked painful, Raichu. In its rage, Chomper can’t properly prepare herself for the attack.

Chomper reels…her reeling turns into a pirouette…and all the dust from the arena seems to have taken flight around the contestants! It’s officially a Sandstorm!

Chomper seems to have settled down; the sand truly is its element. Although Iota looks fine now, it’s going to sting in a little bit!

That’s all for this round, folks! Tune in next time to see the rest of this battle in the sand!

And whatever else is in that dust. Yecch, I’d actually rather not think about it.

Health: 59
Energy: 79
Status: X
Other: Could use some shark-fin soup. About 7.5 feet from a pile of crap.

Health: 68
Energy: 80
Status: Sand Veil active.
Other: Ready for a feeding frenzy. Iota 7.5 feet ahead, yuckpile 7.5 behind.

Limewire, you're up.

Hell yea, Sandstorm! Alright Chomper, if Gastly uses Confuse Ray during actions 1 and 2, dodge them with an evasive Dig to hide behind that pile of crap. Yummy.

Anyways, your commands are pretty straightforward: Dig ~ Outrage ~ Outrage

Ok Iota, begin things with Disable, targeting the dig he used last turn. This will stop him attacking for now. Then use Confuse Ray. He'll try to avoid with Dig, only to find he doesn't know how anymore. Then finish off with Wil-o-Wisp to lessen the force of his outrage. Hopefully at the end of this round he'll be Burned, Confused, and if we're lucky Poisoned as well from the air. Go get him Iota!

(They're named after Greek Letters btw)

NOTE TO LIME: Wouldn't Gible's base ATK be **** after the nature boost? When I put 70 into the calculator, it comes out as ***.

Welcome back to this intense battle! There’s enough sand flying around to build a castle!

Protip: Don’t get too elaborate; you never know what might set up camp. I built a regular labyrinth out in a desert once. I came back a month later to a Volcarona infestation. Remember that, Raichu?

Ah, yes, good times. I especially liked the part when you were running around burning, screaming like a baby Whismur.

…the viewers at home didn’t need to know about that…

Oops. Did I really let it slip? I’m sorry. …Pfft, who am I kidding? Oh, hey, look, Iota did something!

I believe that was a Disable attack, Raichu. Wonder what exactly it did…

Chomper responds by…just standing there. With a vacant expression on her face. Any input, Mewtwo?

Three words, Raichu: EPIC. BRAIN FART.

Judging by what Limewire is yelling at her, the target of Iota’s Disable was Dig!

That’ll keep the land shark from ditching to avoid Iota’s attacks. It also saves Iota a bit of a headache; she doesn’t need to worry about powerful hits from the blue.

Iota decides to further hinder Chomper by firing a luminescent Confuse Ray at her. She looks even more messed up now; almost as bad as Mewtwo does on Friday nights!

You’re just jealous of my amazing social life.

Sure. As Limewire shouts orders even more desperately, Chomper suddenly wheels around and smashes into…a stack of car parts. That can’t feel good.

She might not know it, but the self-inflicted injury may have helped her regain her senses a bit.

Iota, giggling through these proceedings, produces an eerie flame that snakes through the air…right into Chomper! That was a Will-O-Wisp, and it seared Chomper!

That’ll dull Chomper’s attacks and sap her stamina. A game-changing move on Iota’s part!

The pain finally seems to have brought Chomper back to her senses. She envelops herself in the same flames that she made for the Dragon Rage…and bum-rushes Iota, who is too startled to react at all!

I would be, too, on the receiving end of an Outrage! Chomper will be raging like that for for a while!

Even though the damage is hampered by Chomper’s burn, the frightening aspect of the attack is not. She doesn’t even seem to notice her burn!

Iota is noticing the Sandstorm, though! Even through her gaseous form, the grains still abrade the Gastly. At least she’ll have a nice, polished exterior after the battle.

…No, Mewtwo, she’ll just have a bunch of sand stuck in her.

Iota uses Disable. Chomper’s Dig was disabled! -6 Energy. (2 SS Damage)
Chomper’s Dig is disabled!
Iota uses Confuse Ray. Chomper became very confused! -4 Energy. (2 SS Damage)
Chomper hurt itself in its confusion! Chomper looks far less confused. 7 damage.
Iota uses Will-O-Wisp. Chomper was burned! -6 Energy. (2 SS Damage)
Chomper uses Outrage. Chomper went on a rampage! 9 damage, -7 Energy. (2 Burn Damage)

Chomper snapped out of confusion!

About 1 foot from Iota. Raging like Rageguy.

The sandstorm rages for 4 more rounds.

Lord Jesseus, you're up!

Hm, done being confused already, that's a nuisance. Oh well.

Ok Iota, start off by firing a Shadow Ball and immediately ducking behind the pile of junk right beneath you. He might break through but he may also be poisoned by the effort, and piling on multiple statuses would be a very nice outcome. Follow up with Sludge Bomb, its not very effective but its stabbed, powerful, and the more chance of poison the better. Finish up with another Shadow Ball.

Shadow Ball~Sludge Bomb~Shadow Ball

Ok since you've seemingly disappeared/stopped caring and we don't even have a ref, I'm considering this battle null.
I suppose it counts as a forfeit but whatever, I want to start new battles ffs.
